When i think back to when i first started playing i really cant belive how long ago it was Febuary of 2001. 8 years I was 19 a senior in high school (yes i started late and failed 4th grade.) It was one of the few games we could get to from school and due to me taking Advance Placement History class i had to be in for 1st period and then had to take English 9th period. That left me with a whole lot of study halls and time to kill....Thats how i got hooked on Runescape. It was a new game then so not many people knew about it but a few of my friends liked to pk and still play today. Most of my friends know i play. Some poke a little fun but its all in good spirts.

You're wrong. I have played since Febuary 2001 please refresh my memory of when Jagex rolled back everyones stats?? Cuase i dont recall them ever doing it... Well, maybe you didn't remember, but yes they did. Don't know on what occasion but there actually have been a few rollbacks in Runescape history. The ones I saw were only a few hours back in time by the way. Nothing serious. Not that its the be all end all place for runescape info but i checked runescape wiki and didnt find anything abotu any roll back but you are probably right because early on they did things differently.

This is so strange i was playing for about 4 hours yesterday after work did my slayer task of 77 iron dragons did a clue scroll (super lame one Rune B axe and chaos runes) I had private and public chat on the whole time. The only thing that even happened that was odd was i was in teh clan chat tree find and they booted me out. Also on the roll back thing Jagex has never rolled back everyones stats. And they have never given items back that people have lost. They have early in the game rolled back cheaters stats as a way of punishment but never rolled everyone back becuase of bugs/glitchs or party hats being dupped.

Since real pking was removed Edgeville was much less busy. There isnt that many things that cause people to go out in the wild from Edgeville anymore so. I dont understand some of you players the same ones that whine about where the portal is are the same ones that would whine if it was some place else not next to a tele destination. I mean really quit knit picking at everything. :shame:

Someone has already said this but being that we dont know what item/items are on the second wheel(the rare items) there is no way to test this out. Also common drops from some NPCs(monsters) are worth more then their rare drops. So price checking isnt helping conclude anything. I think the best way to do this is pick a NPC thats been around a while and we know all of its drops and then we all kill that same NPC and log the drops and then Magicmanmax can tally up the percentages and the differences in drops with and without ROW. This should get the kills into the 1000s wich is what we need.

I find that i really really suck at vinesweeper. But in theory its a good way if all you want to do is lvl farming.. do a farming run then play vinesweeper until your crops are ready to harvest and repeat...

I have made posts about this in the past. 200mil is lvl 126 if you could gain lvls past 99 on the current xp curve. Jagex could do all sorts of things. One thing which i think makes the most sence is that instead of using curve that they use to get to 99, after 99 it changes to a less steep curve that allows for more lvls to be gained and it doesnt have to even go all the way up to 200mil. It could allow for us to get say lvl 110 or 115 and only bring us to 100mil xp or even 75 mil xp. This would allow for new player made content. New smithable armors more things to craft new trees to cut/fletch...And it could be added into the game slowly over the course of years to keep new content flowing into the game. I mean really how many more minigames can they possibly add once mobilizing armies is added.

Lalala7324 and compfreak847 you are both right...Compfreak847 just makes it much more clear what he is saying and its easier to understand. Lalala7324 yes when an item first comes out and it gets coinshared it can if no one buys it lead to the game giving out "free" money until the item goes low enough that people begin to buy it. But after just a few weeks the money begins to drain out of the economy wich is what Compfreak847 was saying.

even though its old i like it.. i hope there is more grusome or scary stuff put into the game to get the game more geared to the older players and not the few 8 year olds that play.

Use a safe spot in the edgeville dungen and mage the black demonds. Not great profit but good chance of getting a rune chain. You could do barrows. Use them on Earth elementals and sell the earth runes.. There really isnt some weak monster that when you cast fire bolts on it drops a rune plate everytime so you can get rich...

All three are cheap to level you can make your own runes or fletch your own arrows or smith knives... Really melee is the only one your forced into buying the weapon as you cant make any of the good ones. Out of the 3 range is really the easiest to lvl to 99.... Im nearly 97 range and i never train it at all only time i use it is on slayer tasks that make more sense to range then melee.

You says you spec with the Vesta long sword so casually...

^^Rune minning is never like that... There is always someone else minning at anytime and you will not get 1mil very hour rune minning. Maybe once a every couple of months if all you do is rune mine will you get 1mil in an hour. You will get most likely 200k-300k per hour. Its good money but prepare to spend more time off runescape then on it while minning as you will be hopping to every world and back again....

I have killed just about 700 before i have gotten the dragon boots. I have also killed 100 and gotten 2 sets of boots... Its just luck.

summoning potion hasnt been mentioned yet and hastas(p,p+,and p++) get dropped also.

Hmm i guess we gunna move in a slightly different direction. I hope this removal of the bts will cause new releases to have less bugs in them.

So how long does it take to reach full potential? And can you get brawling gloves only if you have full potential.

He said train right? What about the ZMI alter? It gives the best amount of XP per ess.
