Maybe the "Lucky" in (OMG YOU ARE LUCKY because you have item x)... Is a reference to being lucky that you are at a point in your life that you can spend hours on end playing Runescape. I doubt that's the case though but its my thoughts on it...

Sorry to post on an old thread but. I have killed at least half of the people on the list and about 25% of that list were my friends. I was never a good pker (i couldnt really catch to well) until the very end of rs1 then i racked up a bunch of kills (i got a new pc). Any its nice to see the old names.

WOW i dont remember you personaly but i remember much more then half of the people that responded. GOD i miss the old days. Everything was much more fun and it was like you belonged to something special even if it was just an online community. Well not sure how many people remember me but i still play. I cant get on RS1 anymore :evil:

How about Buccaneering (instead of the lame sounding sailing) it would use construction, thieving, range, melee, smithing, crafting, cooking and im sure you could tie it into other skills as well. Tasks set up like slayer would include fighting pirates, raiding seaports, controlling your men.(new rs ability being proved with mobilizing armies mini game) You could expand this idea greatly to include as stated above a mode for transport and fishing also.

from what i herd you can buy 99 firemaking for about 3mil...Thats got to be the cheapest buyable 99. You would still have 9mil left over to work on another skill.

no you can't get more then 1 at a time ;) You can get more then one at a time, but it is a hassle to do so. If you drop a clue you already have, then get a clue as a drop from the monster your killing, then pick the first clue up, you have 2 clues. ;) Ya this is true i have a picture on my old PC of 2 clues being on the ground but you can only pick up one clue at a time.

I think they should tweak the firemaking name and change it to something like forging or somthing and then make that "new skill" that is an add on to smithing so you use your firemaking/forging to do the first process and then you use your smithing lvl for the second process. This makes training firemaking worth while. Forging would start at like lvl 80 or 85 and go up to 95 or something. The first process of the item would be untradeable and only the finished product could be traded.

Like i said before it depends on what other people are doing. You might get lucky or play at an odd time and get 1mil in one hour but then the next hour you might only get 100-200k the amount of rune ore you can mine per hour changes greatly depending on if other people are minning. I can tell you that i have tried minning at all locations and you can never get 1.3mil a hour consistently.

I only played the first day the game came out and then one or two times since but i have well over 1mil points and i didnt cheat. Even if i just go and kill other players most of the game i was still getting near 40-50k points per game. When i farmed the clay i got 80-90k per game. I didnt stock up on the tool when i has the chance because i wanted to save my points for possible better rewards i never i guessed JAGEX would take away my earned points. I mean really what the hell i have to play a round of the game each time if i want to buy a tool thats gunna get me more points wich are going to just be taken away. I already have a set of the noob armour from the game which i dont want anymore of. This is just total bull crap... Make a fun mini game then bang the heck out of it until no one wants to play it anymore(taking away the combat xp) .....GOOD JOB JAGEX....

Well when rune ore prices are up in the 19k range you can if lucky(not through the game but with no one else minning) get around 800-900k per hour. But thats very very very rare it mostly like hopping worlds getting upset the ore is gone and you end up getting like 100-200k a hour.

I have to agree. Runescape 1 felt like you were a part of it. You could log in and go some place and you could see the same people that were always there. Pking was the same way you had your neutral players that you would see out there and even though they weren't on your friends list you wouldnt attack them and they wouldnt attack you. Then you had those you couldn't stand and disliked Swifty Mcvay tops my list. But we had some good fights he killed me about 3 or 4 times. I only was able to kill him 2 times. Some of the players i didnt like ended up becomming my friend in RS2. Damn now i want to get my old pc working again to look at my old pking pictures.... I have so many happy memories...

I agree with the first part of your post they defintaly need to give us some better rewards and to make the proto at least equal to the rune pick ax when its used as a pick ax. I also agree that both skill and fighting should get xp while they play the game. I cant disagree with you more though about the third thing you said if your a low lvl but high skills and you have half a brain you'd know the most important thing beside getting some armour and food would be to always carry barriers with you and they would be fine.

Its also a nice status symbol. I say you got flaunt it. What else would you use the 67mil for?

Ya it seems stupid your kills should get better as you kill more people without dieing not get worse... The easy fix is after 1 or 2 kills that you get decent drops is to put everything away and then let your self get pked.

Rs gives me and my wife 1 more thing to talk about. (She started playing after we hooked up) Its also helped me out in trivia reguarding trees and bows, and English words that in America are rarely used.

An Inventory to mith dragons costs MORE than that for pking and considering most people in PvP bring next to nothing anyway so when they do die they lose nothing it works out more expensive and less rewarding to kill miths than it is just to pk for the helmet, this isn't how it should be. I did say most people not all people. Im at work right now so i cant see the pics but ill check it out at home(looks like you have had some success). Have you got a dragon full helm from pking? Its all luck recently it took me 630 Sara mages to get a pair of dragon boots. Maybe your luck at mith drags is as bad as my luck at Sara mages.

I agree i dont think hp will be raised but with the new shield that can lower max hits... A new weapon with low str bonus but very high slash something like a razer sword or something that rarely hits 0s but only hits at a max lets say 15 and hits 15 only rarely.

I think most of the people whinning and crying about the Dragon full helm clearly dont pvp. Its fairly safe to kill mith dragons 100 times with no deaths. Try killing 100 armoured pvpers with a similar lvl to yours how many times will you die before you complete that task how many pots and sharks do you use... Now of course there is the rare 1 itemer that gets a lucky spec and gets a DFH but there is also the lucky guy that gets a DFH from killing 3 mith drags.

The only clues i dont do are the ones that take me to places i cant get to or the clues that are in the Elves area...
