Should be noted that Ape Atoll is a course without a lap bonus. Failing the last obstacle does cost you 300 xp however.

Which Slay task to range and Melle
At those stats, the fastest way to 99 both would be meleeing every task on defensive and cannoning as many tasks as you need. I really really recommend cannoning hellhounds (same as kalphites) and suqah (again, same as kalphites). If you don't want to cannon, the best tasks to range are the ones with the lowest defence. Those are living rock creatures, greaters in Kuradal's (darts + fero), gargoyles too probably (but those are a good block), nechs can be chinned (red chins not grey), black demons etc.

With the release of Char's Training Cave & firemaking event for the Circus, cooking is actually the preferred effigy skill :P.

Well just remember you can't advertise floors with me in DGS :P. Nope, I'll start dg at 300m total xp, giving up the sacred RATIO of xp:level. I don't know where I'll end up before max, no plans there, but 113 would be good. DGS is going for its most hardcore members, the people who won't stop dungeoneering (ex. someone with a 200m xp goal was told on his application that a fixed xp goal is not what DGS is for). Now I'm sure I will do floors after 120 (got to enjoy that 4th bind) but until 120 dg my only concern is getting there. This post must be in the wrong blog, I don't know any Diane, Gohegdeh.

Hand cannons are not more expensive than similar weapons (dstone bolts) but they require inventory space for spare guns.

Bye DGS. The way I see it, DGS had a function and goal in providing efficient floors and in helping people. The goals have changed so I'm out (this is the short version). Also 97 woodcutting. Will get 99 fm in a bit. Yay, #14.

No reason to use a hand cannon though so... Firemaking is used in some dungeoneering rooms.

After about 20 minutes of testing I can say I've hit 395 and 392 (both not max hit splats) on mutated jadinko babies when right next to them, and 399 and 401 when diagonally next to them (not enough to prove anything regarding to that, but they can melee diagonally :P). That's a very low if not non-existent boost to damage at lower range, the observed 30% boost clearly only applies at range.

Superheating 'properly' requires you to: Have magic tab open Click superheat spell (opens inventory) Click ore Right-click resulting bar (switches back to magic interface) Drop bar That's pretty click-intensive and step 4 has to happen quickly.

This is bad :(. Those are the exact max hits for no boost for distance at all, equivalent to a crossbow with the same ranged strength. Not the tip.it database, nor the Wiki nor the Jagex wiki mention any restriction on the distance bonus at all, specific monsters or anything, though the Wiki mentions it's possible to hit 600 on mutated jadinkos. Edit: 620 max hit splat on mutated jadinko babies (on rapid, I'd say 7-8 squares away, draconic fruit active), no 400s hit on them up close yet. 620 max hit splat corresponds to ~59% damage boost. 294 effective ranged level. Draconic fruit apparently is supposed to raise max by 2% on mutated jadinkos. Latin got a max splat of 470 which is exactly 20% boost from 392. If that's the boost for distance on all monsters, the boost for mutated jadinkos is roughly 294/226, 30% boost. Although you only get there if you don't round down each step which would be the normal procedure :/. It's also possible the 30% boost only applies when you have a greater range, as I haven't hit a 400 yet up close and the expected max is a bit over 500 (10 mins testing though).

Ruby bolts can activate even if you miss iirc, so they are a set chance at a high hit (500 on Nex, 1000 on corp, 550 on GWD bosses if first hit). Mithril and broad can basically be ignored, runite is always better (maybe if you didn't have an alerter it's worth using broads but at that point you should be using zaryte/Karil's or w/e). According to Obliv's thread ([qfc]154-155-606-60798052[/qfc]) the damage multiplier for dragonstone bolts is roughly 1.45x, diamond roughly 1.15x, onyx roughly 1.2x. He doesn't mention sagaie but I understand the crew has done some testing and found the multiplier for distances of 5 squares and more to be roughly 1.5x. The multiplier for bane bolts is roughly the same (or higher even) iirc. So that gives you (rigour, void, 99 ranged with overload) the following max hits before and after spec: Ammo Ranged strength Max base hit Max spec Bakriminel 125 551 551 Onyx 120 536 643 Dragonstone 117 528 765 Runite 115 522 522 Diamond 105 493 566 Ruby 103 487 special Bane 82 427 640 Sagaie 70 392 470 Karil's 55 580 580 Effective ranged level is 185. I've multiplied Karil's max hit by 5/3rds as it is that much faster. Of course enchanted bolt specials do not activate 100% whereas sagaie and bane bolts always have their special. Karil's is pretty good too and works on every target, but it has a lot lower accuracy (two-handed with void). Onyx needs an activation rate of slighly over 1 in 8 to beat bakriminel bolts. Dragonstone needs an activation rate of slightly over 1 in 11 to beat them. Diamond needs an activation rate higher than 4 in 5 to beat them.

Should be 140+ crims/hr (for reference I averaged 130 with void/cmaul at 85-90 melees). Chaos tunnels with iron titan will be 180+ crims/hr.

Fight Pits
Tops are from the Pits, legs are Soul Wars. There's no world for Pits because the fastest is when only two people are in a world at the time. Edit: ninja. The global instance got removed with the TzHaar update but it should be re-introduced soon.

Glacors Vs. Rock lobs for charms
You didn't mention your prayer level :P (57 right). You have no real way to survive at glacors, relying on food will be rather annoying and reduce kill speed, and you would have to use Storm of Armadyl for the minions as melee is just too slow. I'd say with curses, glacors for money and charms, without curses stick to frost dragons or something for money and barrage for charms.

I imagine Edgeville with glory is the fastest. If you want to recharge prayer and summoning too, housetab does that.

That was funnily in the news today - that show (the comments actually, on radio) is airing its 10.000th broadcast this week. One of the top moments being that goal. I don't like soccer much. Also 95 thieving :).
