  1. I imagine that the gp/h and xp/h isn't good enough because there aren't enough people. To set up a law running system requires a certain amount of people to ensure there are always runners and crafters, at most times of the day, which isn't something that appears without an organizer.
  2. I don't mind bad-looking stuff, I mind that there is no alternative :(. I want a good-looking, not-so-gaudy set of mage/melee hybrid armour. The not-so-gaudy part is a huge problem in RS, and in fantasy games in general. Also it would be nice if female armour didn't look so crazy Barbie-like, I want to protect myself, not look like a prostitute with a metal fetish .
  3. 5% crit is around 2.5% dps, maybe less. It's not terribly useful, but the special effect is nice as well.
  4. You can't enchant orbs quickly, you can only enchant them one at the time at the relevant obelisks. Perhaps you mean stringing amulets, baking pies, making glass or similar? That's where Lunar Magics come in, you can use them to speed up skilling.
  5. I think that's the goal, the increased draw distance and other HTML5 features only for clients, and a low-graphics browser option based on Java.
  6. 98 divination. 515m overall xp. You just can't avoid them :(.
  7. As it happens, you do get the drops if you kill an untagged monster, that's how I got my goblin champion scroll (cannon in Lumbridge). If anyone tags it, that overrides all the damage you did, and you won't get the loot.
  8. In addition to Slayer, Dungeoneering may be of interest to you. It provides decent xp in a number of skills (combat and skilling), and the tokens provide some useful rewards, including the best f2p weapons. I'm not sure whether you are P2P or F2P (because that changes matters a lot). If you are F2P, you can also go for things like minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security. If you try Dungeoneering, make sure to get someone to make you some good binds.
  9. You have two slots in your inventory that have hotkeys on the action bar. If you right-click an item in your inventory, you get a menu with two extra options: 'set as action bar slot A' and 'set as action bar slot B' (in addition to the normal drop/use/whatnot). If you left-click an empty slot, you get those two options plus cancel. With this new option, you can remove these options, so you won't get a menu when you click an empty inventory slot.
  10. Windows mouse keys let you move, but not to a predetermined location on the screen, nor to a predetermined set of pixels. I'm pretty sure that the 'particular area' refers to the 'predetermined' part: you're not allowed to define any specific place/environment the mouse is to jump to. A regular mousekey jump requires no information about the destination - it just moves.
  11. Yeah, no more left-click annoyance. I really like the drag-to-use-on as well, it makes a lot of sense and it might speed some stuff up. Even so, it'd be a credit to Jagex' honesty if they just went to a monthly update schedule with weekly patch notes.
  12. I don't think it switches you back to ancients, by the way. At least it didn't when I did the requirement. I only know that it's *supposed* to be fixed, it's been in the patch notes. No guarantees :P.
  13. It's pretty exciting, I hope it'll do well. I didn't expect the HTML5 release problems to be due to browser architecture :P.

    Issues

You can PM and admin to see if they have some information on when it was deleted - it wasn't any moderator. Anyway, welcome again :).
  15. It's one of these things that is technically worth getting before maxing combat, if you are getting them at all - the more training you have to do, the more time that .3% crit can save you. That said, you will lose so little time doing MA after you get a completionist cape, compared to doing it before max combat, that I would't worry either way. Pre-EoC, the +4 strength bonus was significant and it would save you several hours of training attack and strength.
  16. The Family Crest demon must specifically be killed with blast spells, so it should switch you to the Modern spellbook and provide runes on the floor.
  17. 120 also goes into 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 10 12 and 15, teams of 16+ would be far too rare to account for. If you wanted to add more options, you'd have to go up to 840 first (x7) because you'd want to cover teams of 7. The next stop is 2520 (x3) to cover teams of 9 as well (remember you were already divisible by 3). 2520 doesn't split into 11 without remainder, but 27720 shards seems like it would be a bit much, no? You have to draw the line somewhere, 120 is fine. It's easy to see how many more shards you need without a calculator, that's worth something as well.
  18. Since most of the bosses are very weak, you'll want some all-round powerful weaponry to dispose of them quickly. You need a full suite of elemental spells for the Dagannoth Mother 2, ranged and melee as well, and some antifire measures if you wish to beat Elvarg when you encounter her (you can also just quit). Other than that, war-priest with t85 helm/boots/gloves is probably a good balance of convenience and defence, or just void. First do all the specials, then unlock all the bosses with Endurance or Climber (you need f15 Climber minimum I believe, so get that early). The bombs and pages will come with DF, which is faster on low Climber floors, but Endurance catches up later.
  19. Add them to ignore and keep your name. You don't want to give in to some douchebag.
  20. Barrows doesn't sound like a boss where you have a lot of options. You can't go and say: "well, today I want a nice relaxed kill, I'll go with lots of people in tank gear". You also can't say: "I'm going to tryhard this boss and get the most epic efficient gp/h ever, I'm going with a small team using power armour and I'm going to have so much DPS nothing can stand before me". It's basically always the same. Looking at bosses pre-EoC compared to Vorago and Barrows now: KBD - I wasn't there on release, but I think it's basically any antifire combo with protect prayer and your highest dps... so either prot mage + pot + bow, or prot melee + shield + sword. No real restrictions, just bring enough people. Also magic is useless but that was just a general problem I believe... KQ - well, you can use any combat style plus melee, and armour doesn't matter to her as she has 100% accuracy, but melee defence helps with guardians. Other than antipoison, you can do whatever you want, provided you have enough people. DKS - So. Many. Options. Solo maging, solo/duo/idk hybrid, tribrid in various team sizes, bring cannons, later familiars change the game, ice barraging becomes a thing... literally dozens of setups are all viable at various stages in the game. GWD - Choice of team/solo, especially on release an important choice, because of the lack of staying power without familiars/ss and such. TDS - Lots of options, also changed as combat changed, started out with melee/range, titan/uni choice, later you get mage/melee and the south spot with mage/melee/titan. Corporeal beast - Well, the weapon's pretty much fixed (zs), choice of FFA (dps setup), tankier gear (Karil's! later on also Virtus) for smaller teams, magic is useless, not much in the way of ranged either. Glacors - Mage only, but you can switch for the glacytes - no longer worth it. Nex - One setup only, that is, pernix + divine eventually became the goal. Nex really really encouraged defence, only claws were really used for dps. KK, post-EoC of course - Pretty free in roles, except for the need of a shield for the voker, which is an acceptable req imo, that you need a shield on a team. It doesn't limit that much otherwise. Downside is that in EoC combat, only dps is really required otherwise, so it's more of a meatbag you run away from sometimes. Now, Vorago: different roles, but those roles have pretty sharply defined setups, also tank/dps isn't really a choice, dps is always better (except bomb tank). I'm not sure but I believe that increasing team size basically means you add more dpsers, not any other role, and it doesn't make it that much easier to survive either, you still have to use waterfalls and avoid jumps and whatnot. Barrows: no choice in team size, as a consequence, no choice in tank vs. dps, you just need that amount of dps, can't replace a single dps with two tankier people. It seems to me that the later you get, the less variety you get in terms of equipment (excepting KK) or ways of hunting or influence from levels. That is, it doesn't really matter what your levels are for this Barrows 2: you get that 90 ranged/magic, ascensions/seismic (noting that 4b is a lot of cash), 85 defence, death lotus/seasinger, 95 prayer, curses, 96 herblore, overloads and that's what you need. There's no way you can say, well, I'm 70 ranged/magic but I'm max melees, so let me take on Supreme (or in this case, Karil) and take a few shots at Prime (or Ahrim), while you get Rex and also take some shots at Prime, and together we can do this. You also can't say, well, I'm going in with a shield and Vengeance Group and I'm going to veng/reflect/resonance this bomb back in their faces (or can you?). You can most definitely not say: "We're all 50 ranged so screw Ahrim, we're just killing the melee guys and Karil, who even needs magic shields anyway". Barrows 2 would have been a *lot* more interesting if it had been like DKS: Six or seven brothers in a large area, it drains prayer a little (like spinolyps!), wander ranges, different abilities, different combos to hunt. For example, you wouldn't want to hunt Dharok while being under fire from Karil, so someone must lure Karil while the rest kills Dharok, but you can also choose to freeze Dharok and kill Karil instead, and depending on where the other brothers are, you may not have enough freezing or luring to pull it off, so you have to lure and kill another brother first, etc. etc.. P.S. Don't take any of these observations as factual claims or anything, just suggesting a trend which may or may not be imaginary.
  21. Well I figured that much (either that or he miscalculated somewhere ;P), it's just a useful note :P. He did get those records pretty quickly.
  22. Yo Blue now holds the daily, weekly and monthly Divination xp gain records, having passed Drumgun, with almost 3m xp gained today. To beat Drum to rank 1, he'd need to get xp twice as fast from now on - don't see that happening unless some natural disaster happens.
  23. Shards can be converted from and to gp at will, virtually instantly, any amount you want (up to max cash of course). So yeah, not a chance that anything will take over unless someone was holding over a max stack of spirit shards (~50b), and even then it's probably spirit shard packs (which are 5000 shards each, or about 250.000b gp in a max stack).
