  1. I've edited the title to be a bit more descriptive.
  2. Octarine is now the leader of Collam Daan! I stepped down because I intend to be a whole lot less active on RS (lobbyscape to talk to people, no more) as I think too many recent updates are horrible etc. etc., you've all heard this in great detail before I'm sure. I'll still be on tif as usual. Also, merry christmas, which is the anointed mass, also known as lotioned kilogram.
  3. Sattern, why would void be mainly useful for magic when it does in fact work in the same way for every style?
  4. You should bring some extra food, presumably. Taking a shield shouldn't be necessary, try to strike a killing blow using the new hp basic ability sometimes.
  5. According to RSwiki, a tome of frost reduces damage sufficiently to last forever.
  6. Neitiznot used to be widely used, but it isn't anymore. Only look at the level of equipment and the classification of power, tank and hybrid.
  7. Piercing Shot Frag Shot Needle Strike Binding Shot (if target is stun-immune) Rapid Fire Bombard Death's Swiftness
  8. Holy water is 100% accuracy? That's crazy, well, thanks for the tip :P. Better submit that to the Tip.It Times ;).
  9. Bandos would probably be superior to void, since void is now only 5% damage. Void is also not a great idea for the QBD, because you use only one attack style. You should get a royal crossbow first thing, it's a level 80 ranged weapon and costs only about 1-2m (idk current price). That's a good basic weapon, then move to get chaotics or t90 weapons. The combat system is very simple: get the highest-level armour in every equipment slot, and make sure weapon/chest/legs/shield all match.
  10. If QBD is too much attention, you can try frost dragons, but that will require a bit of dg or dagganoth kings (which may require you to stick with maging only). Tormented demons are good money as well (if darklight won't be a problem with lower attack levels), but those require attention. Non-frost dragons are allright but not in the league of bosses.
  11. 1) Magic is good, because it attacks at a distance and has a very good basic with Concentrated Blast. Melee has the advantage using Destroy and Assault, but chances are a slayer monster dies too quickly anyway, and bosses will move away (Nex, Vorago, KK etc.). 2) Concentrated Blast is good because it's equivalent to a 150% damage ability - you can break off the attack before the final hit. It's not properly possible to make a rotation with Wrack and Concentrated Blast only. 3) Drygores are good, whether they're worth it is up to you, there's nothing else to buy for that money :P (but Torva is pretty good I suppose). 4) You can use ganodermic at corp, but I think Tetsu is better, from when I tried it. There aren't any places where you'd use different style top and weapon except DKS. Defence doesn't do all that much anyway, and you can focus defence by using appropriate helmet/boots/gloves. 5) Speed doesn't matter at all. 6) Not shield, for sure. Blood barrage is better if you are using t90 magic, otherwise drygores. 7) Blood necklace, hood, primal 2h, either celestial staff + primal 2h + celestial top or primal 2h + ssb + primal platebody or ssb + ccs + sagittarian body. If you have only 4 binds, skip either hood or necklace.
  12. If you are going for melee xp, drygore everything - with 70m and Bandos, you'll need about 55m extra cash to get the weapons (keeping the armour). Since melee xp is your focus, and you still need 90 attack, train to that level with either frost dragons or slaying, depending on how you intend to make that money.
  13. No. Superior Tetsu is better when primarily tanking; Bandos is better when primarily dpsing. Torva and Malevolent armour are again better everywhere. It can be hard to tell when you want which armour. Generally, for slayer you'll want Bandos, for bosses Tetsu.
  14. Since you have 97 ranged and magic, you can get 97 attack, summoning and strength, as well as 99 prayer and hp, and it won't get you a single combat level. Defence is the major consideration for you; if you want to stay low-levelled, keep it at 75. QBD is still good for cash. Ganodermic with a nice, high-power magic weapon will work (Armadyl battlestaff, chaotic staff), or you can go for a royal crossbow and use Karil's.
  15. Trimming doesn't require xp, so that's not relevant to the question. The yellow wizard only costs points, that's definitely a bad idea. I recall the points/h was about 2000, when focusing on points, though it may be an optimistic estimate.
  16. And Drumgun hit 4.5b at rank 3! Now to see whether he'll grab rank 2 from Jake with thieving and herblore.
  17. Be able to, perhaps, certainly with a shield you will be fine, without a shield you might be eating too much. Whether it's worth it, I don't know - I would think dw/2h mage in Seasinger's would be better than using a shield in Subjugation.
  18. Say you have a 65 kg, 175 cm human. Weight goes up with the cube of the height, assuming constant density and ratio between measures. Meaning that a 175 * 3 = 525 cm human would be expected to weigh 65 * 33 = 1755 kg. As it happens, an average male giraffe weighs some 1600 kg at a height of 5-6 metres, which is close enough. It's nice when things work out. This also tells us that in terms of ridiculously-out-of-place height, humans are as bad as giraffes. If you ever laughed at giraffes for being tall, now would be the time to reconsider. Edit: I am also out of bonus xp, woo!
  19. It depends a bit on what you're going to do. If you are going to make money with magic, keep the Virtus, otherwise go with the three GWD sets. If you can get Ports armour, that's a good enough replacement for Bandos and Armadyl if you only use those occasionally.
  20. I think they might be trying too hard :o. That's a crazy lot of small (pointless) activities for the holiday. I think the bonfire with bonus xp based on Christmas items is a nice touch, though.
  21. Congratulations to Drumgun on his 200m divination :).
  22. Stockpiling energy isn't faster at all, only buying energy is faster, and that's expensive at times.
