  1. Are you speaking from experience? Because you are not 95 summoning. From my experience, CT fiends are much more fun and much more rewarding than AC fiends.
  2. 1) It does depend on what secondary experience you want. For maxing out quickly, block: Abyssal demons, desert strykewyrms, jungle strykewyrms, gargoyles, fire giants, warped tortoises and keep aquanites locked. 2) Save blues until 89 summoning for geyser titans. Try to level on greens and golds (fruit bat & barker toad) until you can't take it anymore, then make rock lobsters, swamp titans, iron titans and pack yaks (highest you can). 3) Yes. 4) Monkey knife fighters. 5) Yes. 6) Yes.
  3. For glacoring, max gear is: Virtus top and legs, Neitiznot helm, arcstream + fury, ragefire (or steads), goliath/barrows gloves, csb + defender, cstaff + rapier, ardy cloak 3/4, wealth + berserker (i). For tds, max gear is: Virtus top and legs, Neitiznot helm w/ scrolls, arcstream + fury, ragefire, goliath/barrows gloves, arcane + defender, polypore staff + rapier, ardy cloak 3/4, wealth + berserker (i). For slayer/Bandos god wars: Bandos top and legs, fury, fire cape, Neitiznot helm (full slayer helmet), steadfast boots, goliath/barrows gloves, defender, rapier and maul, berserker (i).
  4. Use some better bolts, it's well worth the cost. You can use broad bolts I believe, runite for even more punch.
  5. Farm herbs for money :).
  6. Corporeal beast hunting, Nexing. Those are the only bosses where it's worth having a team. You can team at most other bosses of course, but it will reduce everyone's profit.
  7. You're welcome to donate your bank to me, Squab and Tieszen (or buy Obt 99 prayer or something).
  8. Well on task you definitely never want a mitre and a fury is always bad for maging :P. Zamorak book is giving up 7 mage attack for 5 prayer (more if you have an illuminated book) which could be worth it. But not if you have an arcane spirit shield probably, because then it's 12 mage attack for 2 prayer.
  9. Eh there are those methods were you can't crash eachother, e.g. runecrafting and making cannonballs etc. Farming as well, MTK, dailies. Other than that you can become the top dog and be uncrashable, which unfortunately requires large sums of money.
  10. This post shows a video where the firemaker is running and getting 1215ish xp per tick, which is 4 magic logs' worth. Maybe I shouldn't have said 'if it works' :P.
  11. Those are rather low rates for claws and effigies though. Vex has them at 1/80 for effigies and 1/250-300 for claws, my own experience is 1/100 for claws and 1/40 for effigies (quite lucky obviously but it's still relevant data). I went by 1/80 and 1/240 which is 80 min/effigy or .75 effigies/hr, and a nice round 4 hrs per claws (3.5-3.8m for a quarter of claws). Also, you don't use brews hunting tds, and no rocktails. You use a little less than 3 ovl per hour because of banking. Not much in the end, but still a bit of a cost reduction compared to what you have. You're also not taking into account rune drops (another 5-10k per kill). 60 kph is the rate without comp cape and dreadnips as well (we're discussing maxed people here right?). I believe dreadnips are worth using even taking into account the time spent getting them, but it's a lot of effort for +2 kph or something. Comp cape could add about 1-2 kph at most. I'd say a clean 63-64 kph could be done but not for 8 hours per day or something. All together, I think a clean 60 kph would be about 3.5m-4m/hr still, random drops/armour pieces easily compensating for supplies and claws pure profit. Of course the best way to find out is having someone get 200m rc @ tds :P. Edit: If you were hunting, say, 100k tds, you would also get 7.5m prayer xp if you brought infernal urns all the time.
  12. You can walk 1 square per tick or run 2 squares per tick. If it will burn two logs per tick while running, you should have at least 3 stacks going, so you can run back and forth and hit 2 logs per tick. 5 stacks works as well, running 2 ticks each time, and 7 etc. etc. but an even number of stacks is technically worse (assuming you use all stacks that you dropped) :geek:.
  13. You're very unlikely to have done any 'pro' dungeoneering. Since we can hardly evaluate the entire dungeoneering skill based on the xp/hr at levels 78 and below, your opinion doesn't carry as much weight as that of someone at 120 dungeoneering, who has been through the entire spectrum of low, medium and high levels. Your opinion is rightly yours, but not relevant to about 102m out of the 104m xp to 120. You said: Which is, in my opinion, not the case. Not only is teaming harder, it is also the point of the skill. Exactly because the xp/hr is so much higher for teaming, I believe Jagex intended the skill to be played in teams rather than solo. And of course you're welcome to play in every legal way, not just the way Jagex intended, but I don't think it's justified to complain about the lower solo xp/hr any more than you complain about the slower xp/hr training thieving pickpocketing master farmers. There isn't anything else in the game that favours team work so much when it comes to gaining xp. I think it's good there is at least one skill incorporating team work so much.
  14. For ganodermics: Ahrim's top and bottom Hexcrest or full slayer helmet (1/6th bonus damage, important!) Arcane stream necklace (30k tokens, 15% bonus damage!) Polypore staff (low xp medium damage high cost) or Armadyl battlestaff with Storm of Armadyl (high xp high damage high cost) Keep increasing your magic attack bonus after this. Use an Ardougne cloak 3/4 for a bit of prayer bonus.
  15. Dungeonsweeper dg tool, takes a screenshot of your map every time you open it and pastes it there.
  16. Hmmm that crash is very recent, a shame (but then again ganos lost much of their profit as well). I don't know what you mean by Woox drop rate, but claws are roughly 1 in 4 hours and pure profit (other drops cover supplies). 2.7m/hr sounds very low.
  17. Fletching arrows at livid is pretty good, got over 700k fletching xp today (about 40-50k produce).
  18. Sub 30 is not that hard for a good team (actually incredibly easy) but for a keyer to pick up four 117 randoms and get sub 30 is much better. Similarly, getting a sub 10 minute med is quite doable, but not for the average 117 random.
  19. I think pressing fn + simulated numpad key counts as two keys for one action :P.
  20. Hunter can be relaxed/afk with butterflies, takes care of a bit of agility as well. It's slower than jadinkos + regular agility. The best xp/hr for agility from your level 72 is Ape Atoll with pies until 75, then Ape Atoll without pies until 80, then Advanced Gnome with pies until 85, then Advanced Barbarian with pies until 91. The xp/hr would be higher if you used a penance horn charged with a good team. Expect 50-70k/hr (before horn) average. The best xp/hr for thieving from your level 73 is monkey knife fighters, all the way to 99. It's about 300k xp/hr at 99, lower at 73 of course. The best xp/hr for hunter from your level 71 is red salamanders until roughly 75, then jadinkos until 99. Check the AOW guide for details on that. The xp/hr is about 300k at 99 for draconic + commons with favours and arctic bear, about 150k at 80.
  21. I believe it's perfectly allowed to remap the FN key (which is what my laptop uses for numpad). You could also put a stack of coins or something on top (that's what I do).
  22. I'm not entirely sure but I believe sc gear stacked additively with hati before. Finished statue #27, can only add last pair tomorrow :(. Also got 94 fletching @ Livid, 18m farming and:
  23. If he's seriously thinking about all non-buyables, he might aswell flip in the meantime. He could do cheap methods, maybe not the most efficient but better than quitting if you're that far already. He should effigycraft rc/agil at tds and gather a few billion that way. At 60 kph, tds are about 4m/hr and an effigy every 80 minutes.
  24. By that reasoning no skill requires skill. However people tend to find some skills much much harder to reach the highest xp rate in, ex. slayer and dungeoneering. Ask any person what skill requires most skill to get the highest xp rates in (at a given level) and dungeoneering will be one of your top answers.
  25. The flaw I see in this comparison is pretty much all of the prayers etc do not actually boost your stats, they boost other variables within the combat formula such as accuracy etc. Not correct. In the max hit formula, prayer acts as a multiplier to your level, not your max hit. Which means the +8 base gets added after, not before the prayer.
