Runescape 3 is coming this summer...(BTS Bonus edition)
I'm getting it too, and others as well. Other things: Chat overlaps the quickchat symbol. Login/logouts do not appear split in chat, and they appear in white. Couldn't walk through the Yanille gate, had to use grapple. Once the gate graphic loaded, it appeared open with a 'close' option, but neither walking nor closing it actually worked. There was a staircase hotspot in my POH carpet. It didn't actually work though. Also I was able to see the ballistas on Khazard battlefield from the ogre hill south of the gnome maze. Woot :D.

You really shouldn't bother with gano gloves/boots just because you're maging. They are not magic attacking boots, they are melee defending boots. In fact only top, legs, shield and crit/damage boost equipment are attacking pieces, all the rest is purely defensive. That includes all boots, helmets & gloves but Nex and some capes/amulets/rings (usually all-class or classless pieces). I don't think there is any task you will need much defence on if you have soul split. Until then, bunyip can cover a lot (use scrolls + raw fish rather than cooked fish, as you lose no adrenaline). Typically, boots & gloves aren't really worth switching, too much effort.

QBD Help without Super Antifires?
You don't need better armour with drygore. Void will do. Drygores are the staple weapon of all monster hunting (except Zilyana and Kree, but okay). Once you get one, you will never want to go back to lower tier equipment. In my experience, drygores make QBD very, very easy. I used Zaryte and a mix of t85 and t70 defence before I used drygores, and my kills went from 5 minutes to 2 minutes easy once I upgraded, plus they got easier. You don't even need to watch any specials, though it helps to avoid the super fire. Drygore + dfs won't do quite as much damage as maul, but you'll take a lot less damage from fire walls, to the point that you can ignore them. Plus that Revenge is a very powerful ability if you have several worms on you. GE med price for drygore rapier is ~73m.

QBD Help without Super Antifires?
Upgrade your weapon, that means either chaotic or drygore melee weapon, or chaotic crossbow. Sadly there is no way to increase your dps otherwise. I think main hand drygores are in the 70-80m range now, which means you should get one ASAP! They are very useful for a lot of things.

16-Apr-13 Duel Arena: Go Forth and Duel
I wasn't hoping for it, but now that you mention it, it'd be cool to have them back. It would have been nice to get something more substantial out of this update, such as a necessary fix or bit of DA lore, and tournaments would be a pretty good update.

200M in all Skills
If he does the monthly statues D&D, that's 4 medium xp lamps per month, for a total of ~69k xp/month. Plus prayer lamps you might gain randomly, and Meg providing a bit of xp, maybe 75k/month?

Source of cannon buff? The main problem with the cannon isn't dps, it's the huge annoyance of tagging on low lp tasks (champ scrolls too :().

Low level PvM
2h weapons are not the best anymore, they were for a long time until dual wielding got properly buffed. Right now, 2h and dw are pretty even as far as same-tier weapons are concerned, but sadly there are t90 weapons for one class only: dual wield melee. Those are of course by far the best weapons in the game right now.

Royal crossbow is the cheapest t80 weapon and it's pretty much a maul (damage wise, though abilities are slightly worse/different). Also maul is fine on waterfiends, but mhclaw and eee is a bit better. @Cerri: You are doing something very, very wrong if you can't survive to brandish after 15-20 attempts. People who've never been mhing can kill her first try using relatively cheap equipment (maul and t70 armour or void). I think it'd be going a bit far to say that anyone is that bad at QBD, once they 'get' the trick (the trick is to ignore the specials), and that it's more likely that everyone can do QBD if they can use t70 armour and t80 weapons.

Rushing dungeoneering (solo)
Well that's another mark against Jagex' ability to adjust content to EoC then >.>. Blitzer boosting speed and through that ability damage would be amazing :(.

Rushing dungeoneering (solo)
@Tui: Dismember is on 3 because for me all DoTs are on 3 for historical reasons :P. I think having ults on bar is kinda useless, you will rarely ever use any, after you get up to ult the GD will mostly be over and you can use full adren to start off the next one with 2+ tresholds. Incendiary does not do any extra damage against Gulega and I think it's worse than Deadshot (and Unload, too). It does not do 40% damage anymore. Does Blitzer increase ability damage as a speed increase should (which might make it useful with Combust) or does it do nothing/autoattacks only? If the latter, it really needs a fix :(.

16-Apr-13 Duel Arena: Go Forth and Duel
I hope hex got buffed to shortbow damage again, but it's sad to see there is no special effect (at least I presume they would have mentioned one). Everybody knows what's wrong with them, or at least anyone who keeps up with these things >.>. Latin mentions these things because he knows and cares a lot about magic, and because he's been one of the first people to note the bug and report it. Naturally he's going to be upset that Jagex manages to ignore the issues that affect class balance the most, and he's not the only one. The whole Duel Arena update is completely trivial compared to 10% dps loss for magic as a whole. In fact every single update since this bug was added is trivial in comparison. It's not very good for Jagex' record that they never ever manage to fix these bugs in time - magic (leech) curses were broken for ages pre-EoC as well. Any caring player would be upset about this, not complaining that people mention it. We need to spread the word a bit, or nothing will get done.

Xp/hour
Don't forget that the higher rates require level 90/95 nodes and sometimes higher levels to improve success rate. QCK is 83 runecrafting which is not enough for souls or living souls I think?

Xp/hour
Yew logs are ~283 xp each for burning, you can burn one per 6 ticks apparently (incl. banking), so about 283k xp/h. Wiki lists it at 560k/h with penance horn but of course they forget to count the time required to fill the horn. I suppose you can also bank a little faster than the average. Rocktails are about 295 xp per fish including bonfire boost and urns, you are one level away from not burning any with gauntlets. You can cook one per 5 tick I think (wiki says ~80s per inventory, which would be 3s per fish assuming an urn). Idk about banking, probably 1100/h or so (can do next to bank chest). Mining should be 90k/h or so. C2 fishing, 80k/h plus 30k woodcut? I'm not at all sure on this, fishing should be ~120k tops alone at 99 fishing. PP: 180k or so. Broad arrows: 500k xp/h - do at Livid if you want comp cape. Runespan: 80k? again not sure on this one. Pines: 110-120k with urns.

You don't *really* need to put teleports on your bar. I like to, but I know good and experienced dungeoneers who prefer to keep the ability tab open. For melee, action bar: Slice, Sever, Dismember, Smash, Cleave and Assault, Whirlwind. Freedom, Anticipation, three teleports. Backhand, Quake and Berserk are rarely useful, so it's not necessary to have them on hand, Fury is mediocre if not bad. For ranged: Piercing Shot, Dazing Shot, Frag Shot, Ricochet and Snap Shot, Rapid Fire, Bombardment. Freedom, Anticipation, three teleports. Binding shot is not useful normally. On bosses, of course your stuns are valuable. For magic, bind only a staff. Blastboxes aren't useful, staves provide all elemental runes now. There is no need to imbue staves at altars anymore either, gravecreeper staff is fine at level 90.

qbd
Adren pots are worth bringing anyway. One dose per kill speeds things up, either to get up to tresholds (if starting at low adren) or after using an ult (if starting at high adren).

Thanks Ambler :). Finally rolled the plate mission I need for tetsu helmet & all armour sets. Also at 46 scrolls now :). In my quest for supercrew, I rolled a harem with multi-talented and a really sucky 10k combat captain.

The Pincers
Early on in the Pincers, scrolls will be very tough and steel would be a better thing to get. You probably won't have enough laquer or chi to make the relevant armours, so it's recommended to leave scrolls until after you (almost) have the resources. You should go for some crew and the rudder upgrade first, ignore building upgrades for now, totems are nice but hardly useful, especially since you're gathering steel at first. As TDC said, 5 of each basic, 3 JoD, 3 merchant, 4 oxhead is the best all-round crew. Depending on ones focus (scrolls/trade goods) another merchant or no merchants is best, but you want both.
