Vsing one person a month? It's a game. Part of pking is gaining. If you beat someone fairly, that is not greed. But if you team with someone, but backstab them, that is greed. Whatever, whatever. Please read the part about greed. I said, people are always greedy and will want to keep their items. Greed blinds them. They don't see how much they stand to lose, compared to what they gain. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but you get the point. Also, who uses 23 lobsters in one fight? If your opponent is smart, he'll quickly run away once you start "safing". And sometimes you might even get a successful kill on a stupid opponent who is so honourable and refuses to run.

On the "quote" thing, at the side of the topic review at the bottom of the page, you should see a button "quote". Press it, and it'll put the whole thing there into a quote box. I don't hate crushing or stabbing weapons. They are so freaking underpowered. That's what I'm trying to change. To make them viable weapons, both for training and pvp. You don't have to argue that some crush/stab weapons are useful for training. Most are completely useless and overshadowed by the superior slash weapons. Note: There are some exceptions, like waterfiends, etc etc, but look how many exceptions there are compared to the number of "normal" monsters. Off topic: Honestly, learn some proper English. Its hard to read what you're saying.

Im not talking about competing so much as diversifying at the current level. You are right there is already a lot of powerful equipment out there but what we have to avoid is a cold-war style arms race with every major update being expected to increase the hitting power of players which will only result in an over-abundance of super weapons. Perhaps using smithing for the creation of high-end armors that negate the dramatic effect the current weapons can have is a viable alternative? Quite true. There has to be more originality and creativity when creating weapons and armor, such that they don't overpower it and make it the supreme weapon of the supreme weapons. RuneScape is unique from most other MMOs, in the way that every update they don't just put in new armor and weapons that are overly overpowered.

:thumbup: +1 I hate stupid MMOs where all you do is kill, kill and kill. And some lame quests with NO storyline or anything in the slight bit interesting, and you still just kill, kill, kill. And some silly "player interaction" crap when you can do it on RuneScape as well, but they actually give you an option instead of forcing you to interact with other players. Also, RuneScape might be repetitive, but there's actually more variety than WoW. Kill, kill, kill. Nice variety. And you call RuneScape repetitive. RuneScape actually has a variety of skills to train and quite a few minigames. And there's actually other things that can be added to RuneScape other than tougher monsters, better items. I've never played WoW, but from all the descriptions, it really seems like Maplestory with better but pointless graphics and some additional fluff.

Buy-skilling is the way MMORPGs are meant to be played. MMORPG stands for massively multiplayer online role-playing game, not single player. Still, everything is down to opinion, as I said earlier. Honestly, just do what you want. There's no right or wrong answer.

Most of my current money came from lobsters, but it took several hundred trips to get them. And they only got me about 6M. Several hundred trips times 7 clicks (one way) is thousands of clicks. After doing any skill to any real level you click thousands of times. Fishing in the fishing guild will still take thousands of clicks, obviously less than f2p though. Yeah, but thousands of clicks (I don't know exact numbers, of course) excluding the actual skilling/banking itself for 5 levels (85 to 90) isn't exactly ideal. But prayer is much more ridiculous than anything else I've seen. Especially in f2p. I honestly hate how stupidly long it takes to train f2p prayer.

Honestly I think they just say "Nice cape", and immediately after say: "Emotez pl0x!!" :roll:

Honestly stop [cabbage]ting about how much time it would waste to do this kind of stuff. If you don't know how to code, don't talk crap. I don't know either, but some people who DO KNOW have told me it doesn't take very long to do this kind of stuff. Where's your evidence then? A few pages of code for a small group of NPCs maybe. Compared to something like Mobilising Armies which would probably need a few months worth of codewriting or whatever.

Agreed totally. :thumbsup: Stubborn and unadaptive players who can't adapt to change and don't believe that it is controversial are probably 75% or so of the rant thread starters in this forum.

I should really edit the freaking title. There are always exceptions to everything. You don't have to argue about variety and stuff. The problem lies mainly in the armor. Plate armor is only slightly weaker to crush than stab/slash, so no one gives a [bleep] about the small accuracy bonuses for crush weapons. Stab weapons are just too pathetic to be used, with far better counterparts at just a bit more cost. How many freaking times do I have to say waterfiends are an exception? I even mentioned it in the OP if I'm not wrong.

IMO, f2p already has quite a lot for free already. I'm an f2p player myself, before you start flaming me to hell. Some of the things I think f2p should get are: more bank space and skillcapes More bank space is quite reasonable, about a quarter of my bank is filled up with holiday items and new stuff that Jagex released, so I think every year or so an update to the f2p bank space should be made. 8 more spaces or something won't need a month of coding or anything. Skillcapes are more based on opinion in my opinion (what does that mean anyway). I think the f2p players who have been working so hard to get 13 million xp in a certain skill definitely deserve a skillcape. Not just for bragging rights or whatever, more for a sense of accomplishment.

Decent articles as usual. The price manipulation was just a fluffed up "Price manipulation is wrong and bad, and Jagex has to do something against it to stop it ruining the other players' gameplay." But the fluff was very good, I'll have to admit. Coming up with a reasonably long article from that core sentence is something few writers can do.

Despite all your arguments, Juhniz, I still think its overpowered. 2 hits up to 99 allows you to have a quick break to eat something. Though the dark bow's special attack doesn't. 91 is close enough to 90 IMO. Its not that big of a deal.

Auto-dropping was a very nice feature as long as you kept track of how many ores you had (if you're not powermining). Make it optional and I would love to have it back. What you said doesn't make sense. Having auto-dropping would benefit woodcutters too, but why should miners be left out of the deal by only having one ore per rock?
