F2p prayer is unreasonable
Show me one post where I said Jagex should remove stuff or give less updates... I said things are perfect as they are right now with the 1-2 updates a year. If you support this thread and the one with the F2P skill capes, you are demanding more. See the contradiction here? You're saying they DO NOT deserve more updates. Which is the same in essence. I support this thread, but does it take half a day or so much time that it affects the quality of your precious updates? No. So stop being a selfish snob. There are ads on the main website, so yes I do contribute to these advertisements revenues. Therefore, saying all ads revenues are provided by F2P is indeed incorrect. Nothing is stopping them from implementing this except this not being a priority for their game. You already said this wouldn't take half a day, you must have experience in programming and project management because I have no idea how long that would take. I said it would dumb of Jagex to waste the annual 1-2 update on a feature like this. Stop whinning and start playing the real game where you can train prayer with the feature you ask for faster and better experience. I don't know what you're talking about. Anyone with common sense would know that it wouldn't take that long to make a simple update like this. 1-2 annual updates? How did you get that? Small updates don't count in your so-called "1-2 updates". So why can't Jagex just give them some updates. It wouldn't take a long time nor would it affect your gameplay, so stop complaining. The point I'm making is that it would not benefit me at all. I don't pay Jagex so they can improve their trial game. I'll repeat this again, I'm not against the annual 1-2 updates F2P gets. I just think this bury-x feature is not needed and should not be a priority. How many times do I need to repeat myself? Who says so? It would benefit you. You mean you don't bury bones at all? You think it isn't a priority, so stop trying to influence others with your opinion. I think its important for f2p to get this. You're not even an f2p player, so what right do you have to dictate what f2p should get? Go ahead and boycott the game; see if your measly $5 would matter so much compared to the other thousands of $5 Jagex is receiving. Most people don't even care how much f2p gets, as long as it is reasonable. And getting this bury-x option wouldn't matter much. Nor would giving f2p an small extra update.

Skillcapes - Advantageous or Disadvantageous?
Well I think they are. But since neither of us have evidence, we'll leave it at that.

Should F2P get skill capes?
So just because its a computer game, all arguments on the other side are immediately declared void? Playing a computer game is a freaking hobby. Practicing a musical instrument is also a hobby. Contradiction here? A hobby is what you do in your spare time. You mean you do your work during your spare time? I honestly doubt so. Your WHOLE freaking post implied that. Stop trying to feint ignorance. Or are your reading skills really so disgusting? Tediousness is a part of difficulty. I never said getting skillcapes qualifies as hard work. I said its similar to office jobs which are repetitive.

The Contemporary Spellbook
Told you it wasn't a good idea to add that idiot's ideas. I'll stay on the list for now though. ;)

[Updated 9 Dec] Reviving Smithing : Divinite
Killing if its below 30% would be ok, I think, but maybe tweak the special such that it takes 3.6 seconds (4 bars) to hit, so the opponent wouldn't be specced before he can eat. Also, the special attack FAILS totally if the opponent has more than 30% health. Absolutely no effect. 65% bar maybe, to stop speccing but failing because your opponent ate in time, then attacking a few more times and speccing again.

101 Suggestions, #19 (again), #20, and #21.
Because we all know how much lighter a 2h sword is than a crossbow. Its a TWOHANDED sword. You have to hold the crossbow with one hand in RuneScape. And even in real life, you'll have to hold it with one hand while reloading. =D> Nice logic. =D>

F2p prayer is unreasonable
1. Wtf is a single? seriously dude? 2. That is not a metaphor, even a similie... 3. The reason people say this is because it's true. Nothing is free, and Imo F2P has been incredibly lucky these past years with the implement of content such as the duel arena, FoG, GoP and much more. I don't demand for more stuff for f2p, its you selfish snobs that demand for LESS stuff for f2p. See the contradiction? Demanding for less...hmm... :?

Once a great game. A story/Rant for veteran players.
Your sig says: "Its life. Just deal with it." I don't know why people like you (and a few hundred thousand others) can't understand that those changes are necessary and RuneScape will die without them.

F2p prayer is unreasonable
That would be an incentive to train your woodcutting. I don't see a problem here. If yew logs skyrocket, I won't complain, I'll just woodcut. They make money off ads, which can be found on the main page (so yes even members contribue to revenues from ads) and from the game page. Last I heard, F2P was getting 1-2 updates a year for free plus all the patch notes (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that relates to the F2P world. This is from my point of view, pretty nice for a free online game. Sure you can rant, but I can also rant back. The difference is Jagex will most likely listen to members ranting than to F2Pers because the members actually pay for their services. Like mentionned in this post, these are revenues from ads, which are found on the main page that everyone go to log in, members included. Every time I go to the knowledge base, I have to bear these ads. Saying all ads revenues are attributed to F2P is incorrect. The thing is, Jagex might have said that F2P is its own game, but in the grande scheme of things, it's nothing more to them than a recruiting playground for membership. They are aware that not everybody from F2P will become members but they still need these people in-game to attract new players. To keep them playing, they give the annual 1-2 updates. Members don't see advertisements, so I honestly don't know what you're talking about when you say "all ads revenue are attributed to f2p is incorrect". Read the members' benefit list and you'll see that there's one point saying "no advertisements". So what's stopping Jagex from making this a patch/side update? It would affect members and f2p. This wouldn't take half a day to do, as I already said. Or even if this was one of the "annual 1-2 updates", many people would be happy. So stop being greedy and selfish. Would it affect you so much? If so, how? If you can't answer this question reasonably, what's making you become so strongly against any form of f2p updates?

Why can't F2P have...?
If you get offended by words like "idiot" or "selfish", honestly you shouldn't be here. It "cheapens" the amount you pay to get "special privileges", but look at it this way: You get about 4-5 updates every time we get an update. How the [bleep] does that "cheapen" your so-called "special privileges"? I already consider myself lucky. But selfish people who can't bear to give a tiny bit of their "special privileges" away seriously piss me off.

[Updated 9 Dec] Reviving Smithing : Divinite
1 hit every 1.2 seconds, twice scimitar's speed. Maybe that's a bit overpowered...7 bars would be better IMO. (1.8 seconds per hit) So, to continue: Divine Discus: Like the ball-and-chain, just smaller (but not less dangerous though) and can be thrown. +71 ranged +113 ranged strength 3 bars. (hits every 4.2 seconds) Onehanded. Armor-cracking blow: Must be performed in melee. 100% bar. Attack with +10% strength, and if it successfully hits, reduces opponent's armor effeciency by 30% for 1 minute. Executioner: A huge axe used by executors. -5 stab +81 slash +61 crush +133 strength 3 bars (hits every 4.2 seconds) Twohanded. Bloodlust: 50% bar. +10% accuracy and strength. If hits successfully, strength and accuracy are boosted by 20% for 1 minute. DOES NOT STACK. Guardian Shield: A shield but equipped on the weapon slot instead. Has a large [bleep]e in the centre to stab enemies. +45 stab +2 slash +41 crush +54 strength +50 to all defences. 3 bars (hits every 4.2 seconds) Onehanded. Blessing: 70% bar. Defence is boosted by 15% for 1 minute. The restore rate of all stats is tripled. Assasin's Katar: A claw like thing that you equip on both hands. Has large [bleep]ed projections on it to stab opponents. +98 stab +61 slash -5 crush +51 strength 8 speed (hits every 1.2 seconds) Twohanded. Coup de grace: 50% bar. Instantly kills an enemy below 30% health. No way to prevent it. Hope you like it. Tweak them if necessary.

Drop 1,5,x,all.
This is probably the best solution. Will keep those annoying "we got it the hard way" idiots from complaining too much. Doubt so though. Every update some idiots will have to complain.

A runescape that I would like to see.
Its a unnecessary idea and a waste of Jagex's time. You can do all/most of those changes in the normal RuneScape, just that you CAN trade/etc, but you are not FORCED to trade/etc. So honestly, there's no point in wasting Jagex's time.

Skillcapes - Advantageous or Disadvantageous?
It's a matter of personnal choice. Not everyone powertains, not everyone skills to obtain a cape. Getting a trimmed cape also gives you the second best cape in the game and the best prayer bonus from the cape slot. If you think you're wasting your life playing a game, you should quit. I don't think skill capes ruined the market, the end skill have always been at a loss ever since they introduced the x-features. Not everyone power trains, but skillcapes drives more people to power train. Skillcapes didn't ruin the market, they worsened it, increasing the gap between primary products and secondary products.

Higher Level Armour Overpriced?
They aren't overpriced. Bragging rights seem to be worth more than the stats themselves. Look at party hats.

Why can't F2P have...?
Looks like your opinion doesn't matter to Jagex either, when was the last F2P update? Was it something you guys have been asking for a long time? Was it a game changer? Don't sell the fur before the bear is shot, gutted and cleaned. I wasn't even asking for any f2p updates... Honestly, stop whining about giving away your "special privileges". How does it harm you if a tiny part of your game is given away? You'll lose a million gp? A year of training? You'll lose nothing, so stop complaining and being a selfish idiot. I don't give a [bleep] about when Jagex updates f2p. Its selfish people who can't bear giving away a tiny bit of a very cheap game away to f2p. So $5 entitles you to stop Jagex from giving f2p updates? Fat chance.

Y no skill cape?
This rant doesn't have a point, which is the point. This is just a copy of the other few thousand rants related to being called a "noob" or something along the lines of that. I dont get mad. It just gets annoying after a while. You can't stand annoyance? Get off the internet.

F2p prayer is unreasonable
Why do you members have to horde your privileges? Don't pretend it isn't greed and selfishness. Does it affect YOUR freaking gameplay if some other idiots get a nice new option? No. It will benefit you, albeit a bit less maybe, but a benefit's a benefit. Who came up with the lame list of features to be implemented? I don't think it'll take half a day to write a few lines of codes to allow players to "bury X" bones. That's all that's needed really. Don't argue about how much time its needed. I don't know, you don't know either. Unless you tell me you're an Jagex employee, all your assumptions are just predictions, and not proof. So I don't need to listen to them. But even if it takes a longer time, I don't think it'll compromise the quality of the weekly members' update. So cut the crap about being selfish. If it doesn't affect you, stop whining and trying to argue that it will affect you.

F2p prayer is unreasonable
Its called human selfishness and greed. Look for it in wikipedia or Google. People don't want to give others their "special privileges" as a member.

[Updated 9 Dec] Reviving Smithing : Divinite
Here you go. Divine Whirl-spear (A spear where you twirl around like a helicopter blades/whatever) +60 stab +80 slash +10 crush +65 strength Speed: 8 bars The speed of the twirling motion and the razor-sharp blades make this weapon especially deadly in the hands of a master. Whirlwind slash: !00% bar. 4 attacks at 60% strength and 65% accuracy. (statistically 156% damage) Hope you like it. I don't know much about members' stuff, so it'll help if you can tweak it so its balanced. I'll try to come up with more tomorrow or so.

*(*)--->Koalas!<---(*)*(New Update! And section is open!)
Not bad, I support  What harm can it bring anyway? Other than some [wagon] saying RS is becoming too targeted at kids.

101 Suggestions, #19 (again), #20, and #21.
They do. Which is why #19 does suck. Type crossbow into google images and look for yourself. About 60% of the images on the first page alone have metal limbs and wooden stocks. I don't agree with #19. And I also want to mention that while I started out liking the idea of this thread and it's original first few ideas, I think it's turning into a "101 Suggestions that don't suck, but aren't that great either." Give us some GREAT ideas, not just ones that can fall into a category of not sucking. There's a lot that won't necessarily suck, but isn't great or even that "good" either. I don't mean to be critical, but, I mean, if you're going to really try to go for 101 suggestions and you want me to read all 101 of them by the time your done, I want to know that the ideas will be worth the time reading into. The past 5 ideas have left me going, "Um...ok...that's cool, I guess." :| This is becoming a bit like a "Did you know?" I didn't know most of the facts there. Anyway, kiteshields are NOT made out of wood (even in RS). The brown part is a "sigil" or something. Crossbow stocks shouldn't be made out of metal, really. 1) It would cost too much. 2) It would be too heavy. Though I can't say I agree with metal limbs either...There are some metallic parts in crossbows, but seriously, how are you going to bend metal hundreds of times without it cracking? Or carry a 5kg crossbow which costs as much as your pay?

*NEW* Player Behavior Rants (No Naming Names)
What's even worse is that they could have made 2 or 3 times what they were asking for in the time they wasted standing around begging. If someone needs 3k, all they have to do is go cut down all the regular trees around the perimeter of the GE and then sell them instantly. But I guess that kind of thinking requires too much brain power from 'em. Exactly. Beggars don't realise what skills are for. To make money. Heck, even with a bit of money you could start merchanting (too bad they're too stupid to do that), even with level 1 at all skills. Selling crap can make you a surprisingly large sum of money. As you said, normal logs. Copper ore, tin ore, iron ore, etc.

Should F2P get skill capes?
Yeah.... and how many people want an achievement cape just for its stats? They maybe a obby cape in stats, but their requirements are very high. I mean, its pretty obvious that getting a skillcapes take a lot more time to get than an obby cape. New players won't sign up for a runescape account because skillcapes are f2p, and f2p players won't become members because they have skillcapes either. It would be a pointless update. Also, lots of people try to make it sound like skillcapes are something that they deserve. You do not have to "work" to get a skillcape, but in fact you just have to click a few pixels representing a rock or a tree many times. Only in Runescape can playing computer game earn you respect for having apparently worked hard. A skillcape is just another item. Not having skillcapes is not some kind of horrible punishment. I just relised this was posted  What other reason is there to a get a skill cape? The 1st time I saw 1 (I wasn't around when they were brought into the game) I thought "I guess he has 99 att" then carried on with what I was doing, I never gave him any respect or anything. Why are you making it sound like the only reason people get membership is to get a cape? If that is your only reason to become a member your crazy. There's 1,000's of reasons to become a member and you think the main factor is some cape!?!?! In a sense you are working, you are working towards a goal. You might not get tierd from it but you are working. What about people who work in offices all day just sat at a computer? They get paid to do that and if they stand out they get a rise or a promotion in acknowledgement of what they have done, the same as a f2p clicking away should get something for spending 3 times longer as a member to train the same skill. Point out where i said that the main factor of getting a membership is for the cape.... please... :wall: And the difference between playing Runescape and working in an office is that people that work in offices actually do work, instead of playing computer games. Playing a computer game where all you really have to do too excel is click on a rock several times does not require physical or mental superiority nor does it require intense thinking and effort. Seriously... Oh yeah. And i don't even think you know what side i'm supporting. Because i never said anything about how capes give "respect". In fact, if anything, i have been saying the opposite by saying that skillcapes don't require any sort of skill at all. Interpretation, please. Just because you didn't say something doesn't mean we can't infer. We're not brainless morons who can only draw direct conclusions. We can think. Also, most office jobs just require repetitive action, which ISN'T "intense thinking". Answering phones, secretaries, etc. Skillcapes require dedication and patience. Do you have a 99? If you don't, don't criticize what you haven't tried. If you do, you should know how boring it is, and how much dedication and patience you need to do it, especially for skills like mining, runecrafting, etc etc.

Y no skill cape?
No rants are pointless :shame: But seriously, i wouldn't wear the Wc cape even if i had it lol ( Legends rox  ) Well this one is.
