  1. For the sabre like teeth I got "kebbit teeth" from a sabre toothed kebbit. It didn't mark off on my wishlist though. Are kebbit teeth a normal drop?
  2. I'll get started right away, hopefully it's not as irritating as the first...
  3. I got back to back dragon boot drops yesterday  It's all just luck though
  4. I'm pretty sure monster drops are a percentage not affected by your combat lv. Provide the quote if you can
  5. Jagex as a company seems stronger than ever. As long as RS is still raking in money, I'm sure they will continue the game. Well, until 2012 at least... nothing gets past that date :o
  6. Sailing was actually my favorite part of the game in Wind Waker. Well, the exploring part of it. If Jagex put sailing in the game to open up new islands, the eastern lands and just a bunch of places to explore I would be amazingly happy with it. I'm completely neutral on the subject, and I think we should open up our minds to the possibilities it could open up. If Jagex said "this month, we're adding the slayer skill, a skill where you kill large numbers of creatures to advance in level" what would the feedback be? Probably negative. Why on earth would we want a skill that unbelievably boring? Killing monsters to advance in level, pssssh we don't need that. What we wouldn't know is that the drops (whip mainly) would literally revolutionize combat and yield some of the most widely used items in the game. If sailing really does come out, I think a lot of people will be eating their words. Now, to be on topic: I hope we get another set of prayers, like the spellbooks. Maybe a prayer book for skills, we don't really need any more combat prayers.
  7. @ people saying it was a bad QA At least they're reaching out to the community, it's a good start to say the least. 2-3 years ago my biggest problem with Jagex was how out of touch they were with the players. I think it's a pretty boring QA. You can't blame MMG though. He just can't say what's coming out left and right; and I find that disappointing, but understandable. If I had been working on an update and had it leaked I would be pretty mad. I think in light of that, he did the best he could to work with the non content related questions. I'll be looking foreword to the content team's QA, that better be PACKED with good info about coming updates.
  8. Well, at least he cleared that up
  9. Yeah :? I just hope the content team's QA isn't 10 pages of them skirting around questions. Solid confirmations of various updates and changes at the least would be nice
  10. Multiple new skills? Awesome
  11. I hope they make enough restrictions on the username changes that we don't have half the population named Zezima :ohnoes:
  12. Now I'm not going to say the most commonly thought possibility of a new skill( ;) ), but I think there have been "archeology" skill supporters, whatever that means.
  13. This was was a general Q&A for the Jagex CEO, not about specific future content. There will be a Q&A about RS content in the future tho(read the schedule at the bottom) http://news.runescape.com/newsitem.ws?id=2076 Yeah I know, but I mean the QA was pretty empty. Most answers were "You never know what the future holds" or "We are currently discussing this". Meaning "Eh, probably not but I need a longer answer than the word 'no'".
  14. "Noob Free" worlds, name changing and being able to see more about your character sounds amazing. That being said, it was a disappointing read for me. I saw some much better posts (and more in quantity, I might add) regarding quest lines and high level skill content in the QA topic they posted. I care to hear more about game updates than what MMG does around the office tbh :?
  15. Banned: Iron Dragons Steel Dragons Scabarites Black Demons Skip: Hellhounds depending on how I feel Terrorbirds Kalphite Black Dragons Gargoyles from time to time
  16. I bring a set of pots to every slayer task, and I re pot when I'm like 101/99 in a stat or just can't seem to get decent hits.
  17. Any ideas for N 156? I'm not very good at coordinates, but if I'm not mistaken 156 is very far north. North = Mahjarrat and their ritual?
  18. Rofl, the 16-17-157-59341543 thread is going crazy
  19. [hide=] Sorry to hear that. You deserv one ;) r u serious 4K kills not one hilt fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu My friend, FIRST EVER TRIP to Bandos with a friend. Level 90 exactly, he gets a bandos chest as his first drop  but then he got ranger ammy as a pvp drop, just left it there. Told me next day at school, he said "It's only worth like 20K right?" I nearly slapped him :XD: [/hide] Yep, 18 swords, but no hilt. I am a firm believer that time evens everything out....But there's not a chance I'm going back to Sara anytime soon
  20. Some people have luck, some people don't. Example: I've done over 4K Sara boss kills and never had a hilt drop. One of my friends decides to solo his first trip ever, and gets a hilt on his fourth kill. It's just how it goes :?
  21. Years ago when I had just got members I was probably level 50. I did my first treasure trail and got an addy (t) kite, and for some reason I carried all my cash on me too. My last clue had brought me to Brimhaven. Here's where it gets boneheaded. As I was wandering around looking for a bank, a guy runs up to me and asks if I have any food because he's poisoned and needs to bank his items. Being the greedy person I was back then, I said no, but followed him so I could collect his loot when he died  He ended up going to the tribesman NPC's and staying there, and I attacked one. It poisoned me and I ended up dying shortly after he did, losing most of my bank and my treasure trail loot :wall: :wall:
  22. The forgotten updates was a good read. I think I find myself overlooking small updates, but I've realized how useful some of them have been. That being said, I can't wait for upgrade year to be done. I hope next year is "high level content year"
  23. I joined in June of 2004 right after the nature spirit quest was released. I remember when the barrows was released I saw a guy with Dharoks greataxe and he was yelling out "selling noobkiller weapon 30m"
  24. I would really regret not being able to play on this account. It might sound sappy, but I've grown up with this game for the last 5 years or so and had a lot of fun on it. There's a lot of sentimental value in my account. Plus, what would I do with all the free time
  25. Excellent guide, the information was awesome One thing I've found very useful is bringing the Falador shield 3 to dark beast tasks. It takes up 1 inventory spot, but it can restore all your prayer points once per day. Pretty useful IMO, and if you need space you can always destroy it and get it back for free. Comboing that with my SGS, I bring 9 prayer potions to any amount of dark beasts and finish no problem in one trip
