  1. Slayer profits aren't really notable until the 60s or 70s, so its not like you make money from day one. Infact I'd say you spend 40-50% of your money from drops on consumable supplies(potions, food, etc.) if you use the fastest methods.
  2. You have a few options here: 1. Protect from melee and whip in Chaos Tunnel. 2. Halberd Safe spot with(or without) a cannon in Taverly. 3. Guthans/Food in Wilderness Dungeon(under Edgeville). Option 2 is what I'd recommend, option 1 isn't terrible, however option 3 will take ALOT more time.
  3. I use Super Attacks, Defence, and Strenght at ALL TIMES. When I'm in a hurry or prayer potions are cheap I also use Ultimate Strenght(10% Str boost).
  4. I'd say Saradomin or Zamorak. I have Zamorak as of now but I'm planning on buying Saradomin once I get enough money.
  5. It's possible. Though I can't see anyone devoting that much time to the game since the top player is only 1.7b exp and its 4.8b exp for 200m in each skill. We definatly won't see it for a few years.
  6. I did yew and magic longbows, you can buy longbow(u)s and string them for a bit of profit and some decently fast experience. I'd say the fast experience comes from arrows, check out adamant(it may be way to expensive but its in excess of 400k exp/hr).
  7. I'd try Sumona if you use a cannon, if not that stick with Chalder.
  8. I'd like a classic sever to be opened but being able to choose my items/stats? why? I wanna play the game thru
  9. If I'm doing something really stressful or where clicking alot is important(soloing bosses/blackjacking for example) I switch to OFF, however I normally set private to ON and am almost never bothered by people, lest the occasional question. I see very little people 'needing' to keep private to friends to escape 'noobs', except for those at the top of the high scores.
  10. I see no problem with this, your spending a [cabbage] load of money on prayer anyways, almost 3 times what I'll spend to get mine to 99. Also nice stats, all f2p lest prayer right? Impressive x10
  11. Chaos tunnels are good if your a higher level defence.
  12. I think the whip's price will drop to no less than say...1.8 or 1.9, so its probably not a huge deal to buy it now.
  13. I think chins are still going to be the fastest, plus the profit. Finding an empty world may be a problem and I suggest you use hunter potions every few mins and a spiritual lapuria if possible.
  14. I'm afriad you heard wrong, fly fishing is more like 50-60k an hour. Barbarian Heavy Rod fishing can be a little bit faster, but probably not even 70k exp/hr.
  15. It wouldn't make sense since 1 item worlds are going to be a huge hit and Dragon Claws are the ultimate pj-er weapon.
  16. I think that Jagex realises they can do very little to 'offically' stop merchanting clans without interfering with the general player's game play. Secretly they do things that 'happen' to negitivly impact these clans.
  17. I'm a higher level player and normally talk to players around me (unless they act like complete morons) however sometimes I turn public chat off for effeciencies' sake. As for 'high levels' that do this, they are normally noobs who have decent combat stats and want to feel good about themselves.
  18. Although I definatly Runescape more, World of Warcraft can be alot of fun. The reason I don't think Wow is as good as Runescape is after you max on WOW(which doesn't take that long) you run outta real interesting things to do, sure there are raids, but they are on time limts(normally once a week).
  19. The way I look at 'buying' experience is unless your a merchant you had to train skills or commit game hours to earn the gold to pay for supplies. Lets say that you earn 1m an hour and 99 herblore costs 100m, it takes 100 hours to get the supplies before you even start training the skills. If we assume it takes 40 hours to level herblore to 99 once you obtain all supplies then you are losing 140 game hours getting herblore to 99. In that time you could get over 10m woodcutting experience powercutting teaks. So are you really buying the skill? Post Note: DIY-ing isn't faster than powerleveling because you get all supplies on your own, not just the ones that lie outside your max gp/hr ratio.
  20. Cannoning is really only worth it when your slaying. Its slow range experience but boosts slayer exp by a decent margin.
  21. Since your rather low range I'd stick with diamond(e), however if you are that low on gp it is possible. Just keep in mind that with each equipment downgrade it becomes slower and harder.
  22. Plank make is arguably the fastest, thou lots of clicking is involved. String amulet is almost as fast and far less clicking is involved.
  23. I've tried firemaking and no matter how fast you are you always have to relight so its definatly not a viable option. Bolts may be an option but farming runs are a must.
