yup, w113 is the f2p 1000+ total skill level server. so pretty much only long time f2p ppl or ex-members. its great because alot of the ppl on there have exhausted all the f2p content and mostly just skill or chat or mess around. pretty good server with a guarantee of almost no beggers/noobs. its the only one i've logged into since they added that minimum skill level. the problem with it is that all the good skilling locations are always crowded and the lower level stuff is left alone. still waiting on the 1500+ f2p server. :/ I'm still quite far off 1000 total but I would quite enjoy that. I imagine that there are far less bots on that server?

Negative ghostrider. Just because there are bots, doesn't mean there should be bots. Jagex just needs to man up and actually ban them instead of giving them a week off.

Out of curiosity, do you guys use a specific world for free to play? I've just been jumping around but could use a world to stay locked to, since I always use the same world on my member's character and like the idea.

I'm not sure on experience rates, however, slayer will still make you money. Not as much as it used to, but your still profiting, or at least breaking even using the more expensive methods(prayer, extremes/overloads, cannon, etc.) and probably walking away with quite a bit of profit if your going to use cheaper methods. I'd suggest training with it.

Extreme defense doesn't seem to necessary. I've been debating a similar question but decided against it because I have no reason to train combat anymore, but since you've still got quite a bit of slaying to do I would go for it. You can always make money back.

PP at 60 thieve? Plunders at 60 isn't very fast, I think they were just throwing that out there as an alternative method to thieve.

I was against the return but for selfish reasons: I don't pk, or need free trade. Spammers and scammers don't really bother me, however, I think the amount of bots is a fault of Jagex dropping the ball more than reintroducing free trade. The majority of bots now aren't doing it for the purpose of real-world trading, they are just players cheating for higher levels and gold, which bothers me even more than the old bots.

Bot bots and more bots. I hear members complaining about them, but it's far worse in F2P, so any training you do you WILL have to compete with multiple bots, wherever you go. Yea, unfortunately I've already experienced this. Also its hard to get used to not being able to mute gold advertisers (my main is a player mod).

Even though I enjoy members, I've decided to make a character that will be entirely free to play. I'm still going to put in time on my main members character, however, I also want to get the free to play experience. I'm pretty familiar with most things in the game, however, does anyone have any advice I should be aware of that a member might not know about?

This is a bit ridiculous but as long as nothing that gives anyone an edge is added, I won't mind. I would quit the instant they started microtransactions though. OT: I've always wanted to buy a cheese grater and condoms at the same time. The clerks response would be interesting.

51,992 Agility experience at level 81 for completing the 20 waves. I noticed the guy who replenishes the supply table started to get scared and teleport before dropping off the supplies around wave 15.

I keep dragon armour personally, it's more expensive but it does look cool. As far as money goes, I prefer methods that take little time or train skills: MTK, herb runs (along with collecting cactus spines in Al-Kharid), runecrafting, hunter and of course slayer. Also look into daily rewards, such as buying battlestaves, etc.

I wouldn't compare an individual botting to recreational drug use, it would be more like an individual taking a [cabbage] in a public park. Are they doing any huge damage? Probably not, but nobody wants to use the playground anymore.

Why would people donate to Suomi? Everyone on this thread supports nolifing, and I feel really bad for these people. Whenever I was mining at the living rock caverns I would give him a lava titan every time I saw he was asking, but I would do that for any player. I don't see the point in giving other players any large donations, unless you just desperately want them to succeed or know them personally.

I've done about 600 tasks since I was 80 when smoking kills came out.

I'd say 75-85k melée exp an hour, though it varies from task to task of course. Use a cannon since you'll get pretty close to 99 range if you cannon to 99 slayer.

I just started flipping a week ago and went from 5m cash to 25m cash. I will agree though, I spend more time at the ge than I used to, which isn't a good thing but for about an hour's effort a day, I made in the neighborhood of 3-6m. The one thing that angers me about flipping is people buying/selling far above/below the buy/sell prices, it makes flipping difficult at times.

Wines are going to be fast but really expensive so unless your rolling in gp, don't consider them. Swordfish are probably your best bet, if you buy/sell at the right times you might break even or make a small amount. Whats the best place to cook in free to play though? I would assume varrock east or al-kharid.

I'm not sure which is faster but if you could manage slayer tasks, you might be able to make a bit of cash back from cannoning.

In my experience, you don't need extra healing(ie: regen's bracelet) if your using summer's pies. I started using the gnome course at level 80 using pies and I never had my health drop down much. Obviously if you have it, use it (unless you need extra weight reducution, then use penance gloves) but I wouldn't go out of your way for it. Though for thieving, regen's bracelet is a near essential (unless pickpocketing).

I would say for serious slayers the Row is useless, even though you might get more clue scrolls and gems. Your dps is much more important since even the smallest amount makes a noticeable difference after several hundred hours of slaying. Though I would like to try the switching, that could prove useful. Though the misc and ge teleports on the ring are pretty useful, so it might not be a bad idea to use switching, since you can update flips after a task.

You can even alch while cannoning. :grin:

You can range cannon elsewhere, which makes the task much faster. Plus if you use urns you won't need to move to pick up drops very often. OT: Use urns, its not worth losing out on faster experience.

Considering the amount of competition at most bosses and the high reqs shouldn't you be focusing on dps anyway? It'll help to keep your kills and if you're healing with soulsplit it helps, plus you should have a uni or ovls to heal with brews anyway. If you need an sgs at bosses you're probably not doing them well and should spend the money on skills/other gear first. I was thinking more of barrows honestly but yes, at gwd and similar it wouldn't be very useful. I personally hate going to any competitive boss because I get crashed too quickly and people are [wagon] about it, which makes it no fun.
