  1. Although I like to bring it to certain tasks, I would rank it under a fury, bandos, armadyl, guthan's(which is still useful even with high summoning/combat), stat boosting rings, dragon claws, ranger boots, and alot more. Basically its nice to have but unless you've got the money sitting around doing nothing (which you should use for flipping anyways), I wouldn't buy it. The only time its more than just a little useful is surprisingly, when ranging but even those situations can be handled with an EEE and unicorn. Note: It is pretty useful at barrows and other bosses.
  2. Some advice I don't always take myself: Never sell anything. I like this because every time you need money to buy a new item, you've got to make it instead of selling other items. Obviously don't keep junk, but having a few hundred of every bar you can smith is useful for when you need a quest item, same with logs, seeds, herbs, etc.
  3. As a player mod, I always warn people to stay away from flower games, double money, dice games, and all things of the sort. Its not that there aren't legitimate players running these at times but its mostly a scam and impossible to distinguish between the two. As for player moderators being involved, I find it disgusting that these players are abusing their privileges and we've been warned against it multiple times, so there is no excuse.
  4. I know a few people will get it, but 2080 hours at castle wars is a bit over 86 game-play days. That amount of gameplay for one achievement is a bit excessive. I think I would get Slayer to 99 before attempting the Champion's Challenge since you might save some time, but then again I only got got one scroll between levels 1-99.
  5. The urns are calculated as a %. They fill up at a rate of 20% of the xp gained from mining. Similarly to sc pick + horn, the bonus is only given to the base xp gain. So urn + horn would get you 220% xp, or 110 xp for each coal rock. Quick Question: What exactly are the urns and how would i go about acquiring them? Also I would suggest not mining the coal in the LRC since the experience tends to be slower than granite or even powermining iron. However when you reach level 80, concentrated gold is great experience.
  6. As the above poster noted, Pest Control is no longer a viable option for efficient training. You should instead train slayer using primarily a Saradomin Sword (unless you've got 80 Dungeoneering), however when you get monsters assigned that are best killed with other weapons, don't be afraid to switch.
  7. This may already have been discussed but how does the chaotic crossbow compare?
  8. I'm only ranked about 13,000 overall but I do like to see where I stand and I'm motivated to go up ranks everyday.
  9. I wish I had seen that video. I wonder if anybody had the foresight to copy and paste that guide. I'd kill to see a copy of it now. I honestly feel bad for him, he makes videos to help players and then he gets flamed for it.
  10. Would it be better to kill them in Kuradal's Dungeon or in the other area so i can cannon?
  11. I'm currently training my range via slayer and was curious about the best method to range Dark Beasts and Waterfiends. I am level 88 summoning and level 96 range/defence.
  12. I had forgotten about the knives with the ring, thanks for reminding me. This will make things easier. As far as surviving on tasks goes, I do find with a uni.
  13. I'm currently level 94 Slayer and level 95 Range but am not sure which slayer master, Sumona or Kuradal, would be better for experience in both range and slayer. Kuradal is obviously better for times when I'm using melee but Sumona seems to give more cannonable(I cannon with melee as well)/Range-friendly tasks. So which one do you recommend?
  14. You drop the gold bars, since they are almost worthless and it takes time to bank them. Quite pointless and I know he doesnt drop them anyway. He has about 1 million but I do not know if he already happened to sold previous loads or not. Doing the maths could figure it out but not I can be bothered. Plus fact he is only half way. Oh, I wasn't aware he was banking them. Perhaps he is actually running out of money.

  16. There are quite a few safe spots. You just want to maximize range bonus and focus on that, also I'd using Bronze or Iron knives if you can get your hands on some.
  17. Was that without the Crystal Saw?
  18. I have the crystal saw (I was just curious), so does it revert to a seed after x uses like with construction?
  19. Can someone tell me the significance of using the crystal saw versus an ordinary saw, projected maximum experience per hour and the method for maximum efficiency. Thanks  Also I'm 96 Woodcutting, 82 Constructions and have the adze if that has any effect on exp/hr.
  20. Not entirely relevant but you can get these cards at a Wal-Mart correct?
  21. Is there any practical way to utilize the bonus of the slayer helmet during the fight caves. If not please share a good set up for ranging, as I have not been through the fight caves in a very long time. Thanks Btw: I'm 91 Range, 99 Attack, Hitpoints and Strength, 85 Prayer and 95 defence.
  22. 75 rc but currently working on it
  23. I've only hit the six hours a few times and it's never been while in combat
  24. Its over 1m exp and I would rather get it in 3 hours then 10 hours, since I'm leveling all my skills to 85. Also, since some of you don't know what opportunity cost actually is: Opportunity cost is the value of the next-best choice available to someone who has picked between several mutually exclusive choices. It is a key concept in economics. It is a calculating factor used in mixed markets which favor social change in favor of purely individualistic economics. It has been described as expressing "the basic relationship between scarcity and choice." The notion of opportunity cost plays a crucial part in ensuring that scarce resources are used efficiently. Thus, opportunity costs are not restricted to monetary or financial costs: the real cost of output forgone, lost time, swag, pleasure or any other benefit that provides utility should also be considered opportunity costs.
