Back then they might have been worth that much for current day stats due to how long it took to train those accounts to those levels. Nowadays, no, you're right. There are other factors that determine the "value" of an account, but time spent is a worthless figure. But on a personal level, if you're valuing your time spent, it makes sense to do so. It's natural for us to do so. And so long as we're separating our personal attachment and time lost from reality, delusions never come into play.

I have a strange feeling it will be dead in the water given the high amount they're requesting minimum to make the game (1mil usd). I am excited, but I realistically don't think it will happen. Only just got to the point in the video where they "tied up notch". o_O

I think my account is around 800$ given the name and the stats but I've got no desire to ever sell it. Furthermore, I've got no desire to ever put a price tag on it for my own personal worth. Just not worth the depression that will surely come by valuing the time poured into it.

It was never a duration requirement like the castlewars trim was. It was simply to show that you had gone there, just like killing the QBD was. It was a mark that showed you tried almost every aspect of the game. That's all.

It's free but you have to use it while training other skills, so it takes a bit longer than 10mins. Still massively worth it though.

I can't see the need to complain when we're getting double exp on prayer. I never expected this to be more than the lax lily of the valley spring event n' crap. At least they made it worthwhile. Double exp from now until december on the easy exchanging with Robin + easy ash exchange thanks to mort's leg tele to the slime pit? Yes please. Plus it sounds like the chinchompa d&d was made a little better, which is nice for those going for comp. I'm happy overall. Next year might have a different cast of dead characters, too. You don't need others to tell you whether or not you're doing the right thing. Constantly seeking approval from your peers eventually becomes less about learning and self-growth and more about encouraging your low self-confidence because you end up depending on someone telling you whether or not you did well. And you're so much better than that. You don't need us. :P
