  1. And since most seem to assume that this is all about fighting, it's not. When you take noobs in RS, it means all types of noobs. That's too broad to put an exact definition on. There is one deciding factor in RS, and it's time. You could view it as a game of efficiency where those who don't take the fast route(the right route) are noobs. In which case you lose sight of the fun factor, which is the biggest reason RS exists. And fun is not quantifiable as it's relative to every person and all the different activities in the game. So in a sense, you could draw the conclusion that there are no nooobs because there is no right way.
  2. Bgs for strength training?
  3. around 40-60% has played more than four years according to a poll some time back, i seem to remember.
  4. Nice blog :) good luck on your goals.
  5. It's stupid to think that you'd need kc of all four gods, surely jagex wouldn't do.. That.
  6. The worst part is that pkers have such troublesome names to report. Enough with the 1Ili 0OQ 4A et cetera.
  7. I'm generalizing the subset that's against having wilderness specific worlds. The kind who get some sick kick out of killing people who aren't risking just to piss them off and feel powerful. If you are against wilderness specific worlds, you ARE immature. There's no denying that. It's a game. l2play. At this point you just sound like a whiny little kid  By this point you have all come down to namecalling, Totally missing the discussion of having specific worlds for PK'ing versus having PK'ing across all worlds. I agree that having specific PK worlds are the best option since you don't have to move anything out of the wilderness, and the revenants can still be in place. Those who wish to PK have an easier time to find likeminded people. If there was PKing across all worlds, you have to relocate content out of the wilderness, and the result of it is having a dangerous wilderness once again. There is really no pros in having PKing on more than a few worlds. If your intention isn't to PK other PKers then you're just being a hassle to other people. That would be like fencers going around duelling people in a supermall instead of at the fencing club. The only reason for wanting it could be wanting to have clan wars. However, we already have an arguably better alternative called, ironically, Clan Wars.
  8. "a game that demands to eb taken seiously" That made me giggle. They should know that people will expect that dragon and villain to be implemented into the game now. Also, Weren't those heroes supposed to be adventurers alongside the player? I don't recall seeing them in the game yet.
  9. The whole vote is a joke. THere's no verification and oyu can just put anythingi n the field. They've already decided on doing this, and the votes are just giving them something to validate bringing them back.
  10. /v/ is trolling the votes up.
  11. Just for the record. Chopping down one or two trees does no harm to the forest. Infact, it is beneficial for a forest to have trees laying on the gound. It becomes home for insects and fungus, etc.
  12. Doing it wrong. Besides, even without noticing any difference, anything is better than IE. Lol.
  13. I was under the impression that thirdscape has been known to exist, but no further than that. It has been even less info than what we had of mechscpe/stellar dawn, which is why nobody talked about it.
  14. The solution is very simple. The goal is to make the line switch between going over and under every time it crosses itself until it loops. Basically, it's Up, down, up, down etc. At first i thought you were supposed to make it loop with each layer of "rings" being on it's own level. Since that was wrong, i could get the right shape in one click on each side. Personally, i belive it'll be the one resembling a tangram puzzle. It would probably be extremely slow and tedious to solve in RS as we'll have to move the pieces with a wierd controlpad that makes the pieces teleport randomly. Thanks jagex in advance.
  15. i just noticed that the patch note confirms that the attack style does give attack/defence bonuses, just like in classic.
  16. Chinchompas aren't saved by the grave so rol is very good if you carry a stupid amount of chins on you.
  17. Have they fixed that you automatically go to the next complexity? Otherwise it just seems to be a hassle to go out and back in after every dungeon.
  18. They have to get kills too, so you can't guard too much.
  19. Safe link it seems :-s but i dont really get virus though, so dont trust me.
  20. Noting that i think the concept art close to the end is the weird old man.
  21. Oh dear! Dwarf Invasion!
  22. Hurr im a durr. Derp, Tl;dr. Whats this thread about? I dont want to devalue hoiday rares, although i'd really like to have those buneny ears. Hurr.. :twss:
  23. This. I found myself logging in, scrolling through my bank for 5 minutes and then getting bored. Nothing excites me at all about RS anymore, even the latest fairy quest isn't enough to tempt me back. When thsi happens i let my members run out, then i go crazy over someething else like *cough*school, or something. Then when i come back in a month or two, i get exited over the new things, rant about the old days, get killed by a chicken and then start playing again cause i remember how fun it is.
