  1. I used to pick up all charms, but I only pick up crimson/blue now, and if I have space, green. I don't do golds anymore. While it saves my pocket, seeing 1.5k exp per trip to the obelisk just makes me think why? Lol. When I get 99 summoning I will probably only pick up blues, and maybe crimsons. Takes too much time picking each individual charm up.
  2. Thought it would be another D&D to forget the next day/month after, and I was right. Was great fun, I don't mind the exp, but it should be in the form of an experience lamp, for those who want to train other skills. Had fun doing the mugger summons, unfortunately won't be going back. Ah yes and the wig looks too much like the powdered wig o_O
  3. Hmmm and maybe have a maximum stock of 1, and have it so that it restocks randomly, once per month on 1 world chosen at random. Lol once I had a dream I was in runescape and in a general store I sniped 6 abyssal whips for their alch price lol (random I know, right?) but yeah it's a possibility, and having high end items only sometimes available would definitely arouse peoples' interest in visiting shops for more than just daily chores and general skill supplies.
  4. Same. I think shops won't ever be deleted, people need their escential tools for crafting/smithing etc. not only that but people like their daily things like buying raw bird meat for summoning and water filled vials for herblore. There would be a massive uproar if they were removed, despite the lack of their popularity towards the G.E. heck, I still buy things from shops, but it's only minor things now. I miss the old days where people could snipe high end items though, that was fun =D
  5. Bought 3rd age kiteshield for 99.5M a few days ago instantly. You'd think 3rd age would have a HUGE street price because they're extremely hard to get from clues o_O oh well, I'm keeping mine, I love it to pieces.
  6. Last I knew they were thinking of it, didn't know they were for sure now. This time I'll probably do summoning first like everyone else and their dog familiar, then perhaps try something like fishing rocktail. That or mining. I would like runecraft to be faster exp, but 10 hours isn't enough for me to want to train that instead on the bonus xp weekend.

I usually hop worlds if there are too many people. E.G. I find if there are any more than 2 other people at abby demons at the slayer tower, I hop. Otherwise you find other players stand there for a while after they have killed an abby demon, then you expect them to attack the abby demon right next to them. But being polite, I wait to see if they attack it. If they take too long and I attack it, then usually a fight starts and it ends up with something along the lines of 'omg get your own monster'. Yet they were the one taking forever to attack the next abby demon. In this case I just hop to save myself from those situations occuring. I can understand if there are a few people at 'your' spot, but 1 person really isn't enough to warrant a full blown war against who deserves to be there. From my experience ranging giant spiders in the security stronghold, there are more than enough to go around for 2, sometimes (but slightly pushing it...) 3 people. The only thing I can suggest is to hop worlds, otherwise you may get into a fight which really isn't worth your time (trust me). We can only hope Jagex multiply or even triple the amount of monsters people usually kill, otherwise it will only get worse.
  8. Despite the ancients debate, you can't deny the fact castle wars catapults are completely wiping the floor with the middle area (well any area the catapult can be used really). Many people have had to resort to going underground now because usually over half the people on both teams now just camp at the catapult. I have only seen a few flags being brought to the castle via the mid-level field. The rest I have seen now go underground because the odds of surviving are much higher than being ko'ed on the mid-level playing field by flying rocks of epic pwnage. Sure the catapult is great for getting most kills cape, but it definitely needs revising. Half a team shouldn't camp at one particular spot because it does more damage. It also ruins most of the fun. I remember the old days of castle wars when I actually trained range, and used crystal bows. It was great, there was hardly ever a time I didn't have an enemy to attack. These days I'd be lucky to see 1-3 people I can attack. I know it's not just me. Anyways that's my 2 cents about the catapults.
  9. The "hell" with these topics is that it's becoming more of a problem. It is also not his fault for mining at a guild, what training methods people use are up to them and them alone. Anyway... I've seen quite a few bots at the green dragons in the chaos tunnels, and I'm sure at Ivy woodcutting spots as well. It seems Jagex are trying to avoid the bot situation too. I've been hearing stories of bots getting away with only 24 hour bans. To me that's like a slap in the face for those who play by the rules and don't cheat. I think if you use any cheat/bot, no matter how long for, you should be permanently banned.
  10. If I haven't posted already, dungeoneering, then probably farming or runecraft. Right now I'm training dungeoneering with lamps/tears/penguins because it's such slow exp I can't be bothered training it properly in Daemonheim. I remember when it came out, it took me about 6 hours to get 700 exp. INSANE!
  11. Hmmm I'd have to say Jake Gyllenhaal because he's the actor for the prince of persia movie, and my avatar is all about prince of persia, so it makes sense.
  12. Buying 99's is already a tax in itself. I don't support any g.e. tax either. Also the dungeoneering items require a few hundred thousand + dung tokens or 2M gp to recharge, and that is already a recent money sink added to the game. I don't see why all this tax stuff is necessary when it should be EASIER to get money. Look at all the street prices, by taking more and more money out of the game it will only drive them up further, creating more demand. If money is easier to get, then they will drop down to their original prices. That's what happened with animal masks - the first items with street prices. At the time money was scarce, so it drove the invisible prices up. As soon as the RS economy was back to normal, they started dropping and people were able to snatch them up with ease. Right now it's back to the drawing board and they're hard to get again. If anything, we need more money gains, not money sinks.
  13. I think it depends on the monster. For me, the KBD is so easy these days it's laughable. Not that I'd want to kill it anyway because d med is what 50k or something measely? But yeah I'm not a boss killer, as I can't multi task with multiple types of attack. I'm a safer noob =) I don't think I'll ever do nomad's requiem either, the 750+ hit just really put me off that quest, and always will. In that regard I would argue and say bosses have actually become stronger. Look at the dungeoneering bosses. We now have bosses which can freeze you and stun you for a long time. It's insane. I'd rather have monsters that you can kill without the worry of different attack styles and high hits, like abyssal demons. They can drop an item worth 4M, and their max hit is only 81, to me I prefer that safe approach than risky boss stuff. A friend persuaded me once to try Tormented Demon's out and I didn't like it. I ran around like a headless chicken constantly getting attacked by different styles. There was a moment I started to get used to it, but it frustrates me still, that combined with my horrible luck, errrg, yeah bosses just aren't for me. I reckon they have become harder. Look at nomad, that is one tough guy for a boss in a quest. It may be hard for most to comprehend, but for those like me who can't multi task with bosses like that, it's definitely a no-go.
  14. I always keep private on friends. I don't have time for random people chucking abusive text/spam/scams at me. Plus, if you want to talk to someone, the only people allowed to should be your friends, unless you're an unbelievably nice person and have the time to reply to random people and take all the abuse that comes along with it o_O
  15. Hmmm I've never seen the tv series for Deltora Quest, but they're the best books I've ever read. I seriously hope Deltora Quest is turned into a set of movies one day. Come on Peter Jackson....
  16. I've personally tried the dorg course quite a few times at 87+ agility and I don't think it's fast enough to be good agility exp, not to mention the amount of times you fall to the floor and have to redo the course. I'd continue with ape atoll until you can do the advanced gnome agility course then graduate to the advanced barbarian agility course. If you want to try the dorg course out, by all means go for it. I think you'll find it quite disappointing though. Also the summer pies would give +2 more agility than the potions, so if you can afford the pies go for it, otherwise agility pots are relatively good and quite cheap for a pot :)
  17. Oh it's just coz i'm in living rock caverns at the moment, don't wanna die with too many goods on me =D
  18. That IRL runes necklace is pretty epic. Now we just need a guys' version of it for a belt as commented earlier :D And AMG I bought myself a 3rd age kite =D definitely not selling it, just love it to pieces.
  19. As long as there aren't any of the puzzles from the Jagex mod who did the mourning's ends quest series. Ahhhhh that made me want to pull my hair out :wall:
  20. 'legit' to me sounds like people who don't use bots, rather than people who train skills properly instead of buying the materials. But anyways, I started playing rs in 2002, and to date, I still only have 9 skills to its max level, and buying the materials for 99's is far easier than training the skill properly. If you have the patience, good on you, but not many people will care or believe you unfortunately. An example here, would be someone who got all melee 99's before pest control came out. Today, no one really cares, because there are much more efficient training methods for it anyway. It's sad, but true. The only skill I will probably get to 99 without buying all the materials for it, would be herblore. I refuse to save up to 400M+ for that 99.

I love the hawk and shoe. Perhaps adding real feathers on the hawk drawing would bring it out more? Although making a copy of the drawing first would be better, as you don't want to ruin the original! But yeah, making something 3D sort of brings it to life =D I dunno, just my opinion =D The shoe I can't find anything to improve on really, some things are better left black and white, otherwise too much colour makes you not sure where to look/focus on in the drawing. Good job!

Post count doesn't really bother me. It's the sort of posts where people would rather just post a smiley and nothing else, that really bothers me. I think as long as their posts include something of a discussion to the topic, then it's fine. I was in a thread the other day and there were literally 3-4 posts consisting of just:  Which really frustrates me because it serves no purpose. I only post if it's something I'm interested in discussing or debating about, not for a number  Edit: I agree with the quote above. How long someone has been on tipit forums is greatly respected in my books. It shows how loyal they are to the fansite. They may or may not be active in tipit events (which I would assume is another concept of becoming popular amongst the tipit community?), but it shows they don't need a number to prove something :)

I get lucid dreams sometimes, but most of the time when I realize it's all a dream I wake up lol -_- Once I had a dream I was in an art gallery and saw -out of this world- 3D paintings, it was awesome. Though I don't think I'll try forcing myself to have those controlled sort of dreams, especially with crystals and what have you. You never know what sort of stuff you're getting into with that o_O but yeah, controlling your dreams is fun.
  24. Woot ^_^ I'm glad you're considering going to it. I had the same impression when I saw the trailer. I thought it will be really good, but with a slight hint of 'cheesy' in the romantic/love department. I was right in the fact that some of the minor characters couldn't do so well with their acting, but the majority of the actors did well and the storyline was amazing. It all ties up in the end, and that's what made it even more epic. I hate the movies where it leaves you hanging and you think to yourself 'well, what was the point in that?' lol. So yeah I recommend Prince of Persia =)
  25. I saw Prince of Persia, I'd rate it 8/10. There was plenty of action and the sound effects and the speed of the whips at the end were amazing. It was a really good film imo, and it was easy to follow for those who aren't into this type of film. It was a bit slow at the start but between half way and the end it really picked up and was unbelievably epic. A great storyline and just when you think someone is the bad guy, it's someone else. I hope there's a 2nd movie to follow it, though there aren't any plans just yet :( I'd definitely buy it for the DVD cupboard. My overall advice, if you're into soppy/romantic films like Twilight, this isn't the film for you, if you're into mystic/action films however, you should see this movie.
