Need a point in the right direction
Runescape is far easier without a DIY attitude. It boils down to doing whatever you find the most fun and best money, and then using that money to buy other things which lead to more fun or money. If you really want to mine 10000s of ores and make 10000s of bars to make 1000s of armour sets thats completely upto you. Or you could just kill dragons for 10 minutes, sell the bones and hides, and buy that armour. :P Combat is often the best money making method as many items are not craftable by players, but dropped by enemies on death instead. Plus runescape has a noticable 'bot' problem, which are highly advanced automated players controlled by a macro and are designed to do things such as mining and fishing, which they sell, which lowers the demand for the item, which lowers the overall price, which lowers your money made from doing many of these skills. I'm not saying you shouldn't play as DIY, many players do it for an extra challenge and get satisfaction from doing it, it's just probably not the best idea for your first time starting runescape as it can be difficult enough to get into even when you buy whatever you want and need. You should probably train all your skills a few levels and get a feel for the game mechanics, and once you're about 30 combat you should start dungeoneering as it's a great intro to the game and a very useful skill to train to get access to some of the most useful items in the game (including the most powerful weapons)

Taking a break. I need input.
If you're giving the money to a friend you might as well just give him the items and give him the choice between selling them or keeping them. (Make sure he checks his computer for keyloggers first so it doesn't just go right back to the scammer) I have no idea about herb prices but i was clean/flipping them last night and struggled to buy snaps at 5000 at times, which implies they were being bought for higher. I think you can afford to be a little greedy seeing as you have so long to wait and prices tend to flactuate a lot. (Would it be absolutley impossible to log in for a minute just to quickly check on them somewhere inbetween the break?)

CLS now or later?
If you solo a lot and find soloing more profitable/enjoyable than other things then just get the CLS. I can't imagine many scenarios where the chaotic staff would be more useful than SoL taking costs into account, so i cannot say why i'd even want one in my bank personally, but i'm sure you have plans. I don't know if you pvp or stake, but CLS is very useful for both, even if you prefer rapier/maul, it's nice to mix it up occasionally.

70-92 crafting... On a budget.
I just checked and waterstaffs are 100xp each... While airs are 137.5xp each, surely it's better to do airs?

Taking a break. I need input.
I can imagine items such as bandos rising a fair bit in the coming weeks as more and more of the people that sold them for merching/skilling materials over the weekend buy them back. I can't say how they'll fare in 3 months though, especially if a new boss is released by then (hahahah, yeah, right.)

Would the Chaotic Maul be good for training strength?
Rapier should beat Maul at Waterfiends too. If you have to choose between one of the two, Rapier is the one to get. Rapier is only close when you're maxed with overloads. At lower levels its far FAR too inaccurate to even be close, and seeing as he's training from a fairly low level the difference is definatley worth 200k tokens, if you plan on doing it till 99 summoning, that is. But yeah, other than waterfiends and some team bossing, rapier beats it for everything.

70-92 crafting... On a budget.
Yeah i plan on kinda no lifing so that doesn't work very well for me. I'll put an offer in though so i'll have lots over time :)

Cooking
Erm... no. Wines are best at lower cooking levels, because the xp gain is the same any time and higher-levelled fish are better than lower-levelled fish. Best to do wines then rocktail with urns if you want cheap and fast cooking. As for fast moneymakers, you only need about 35m to get 99. Regardless of moneymaker, if you have that cash and want 99 cooking you should just spend it. I meant high level as in combat and other moneymaking skills, not cooking. Sorry for not being clear. 35m is a lot of money to most players when you could get it practically free using raw fish and still average 200k+ an hour. And if you have 35m bank the LAST thing you should do is spend it on training cooking with an expensive method.

70-92 crafting... On a budget.
I have no idea the conventional ways to train crafting and was hoping the kind people of tip.it could help me out. I'd prefer if i only spent 3-4m, but i'd be willing to spend more if it was much faster. For efficiency purposes lets just assume i make 500k/hour. I can make more, but i don't neccessarily want to.

Would the Chaotic Maul be good for training strength?
If you're interested in summoning then you might want to kill waterfiends for charms with the chaotic maul. You can start at a fairly low level and max melee there while getting charms for 99 summoning. Other than that, it's not really good for training purposes, rapier is far better for 99% of enemies.

85-90 Ranged
Ape atol is considerably better. But i'm not sure how much it would cost. It would be helpful to others if you told them your exact gear and if you're using extreme range pots or not.

Cooking
Cooking sharks is about 230k/hour xp and recommended as early as level 85 as the higher xp more than makes up for the few that will burn, and money lost is very minimal. I wouldn't suggest wines unless you're fairly high level and have good access to a fast money maker that you enjoy doing. If you want the fastest xp but don't have the concentration required to do wine, do uncooked curries at cooking guild range > catherby > lumbridge. They're 280xp each and stop burning at level 74. FTI, wines are over 600k xp/hour.

83-96 pouches to make
The pouches which need to be made are: Make 9000 of Arctic bear Make 2337 of Swamp titan Make 2956 of Unicorn stallion Make 800 of Geyser titan Make 3544 of Unicorn stallion Make 1342 of Swamp titan Make 5569 of Wolpertinger Make 2186 of Iron titan Make 1566 of Pack yak That's what i got by running it through the calculator. I cannot say how accurate or cost efficient that method is, but doing it will get you 96 summoning with 1566 crimsons to spare.

Dungeoneering Tokens
As a sidenote to the original question, is there a limit to the amount of tokens you can have? Does anyone have over 10m tokens? How about 100m?

Magic 89-99
I think plank make is fairly profitable and 140k xp/hour. Of course you could fire surge enemies for roughly 150k/hour and profit depending on the monster, alch inbetween casts for 200k+/hour

Doing prayer on xp weekend! (No. Really.)
I'm using the lamps on summoning. I'll be using my charms when it hits 1.1x of course. I don't really have the funds to support cave crawlers for very long, which sounds silly as demons would be roughly the same expense, but i'd prefer the massive prayer xp over the slightly higher range xp and effigy rate. I guess i could just train one of my cheap effigy opening skills instead...

Doing prayer on xp weekend! (No. Really.)
No, because i don't bury bones for 72 experience, i bank them. But if i'm getting over 200xp per bone thanks to the weekend, i would rather bury them (or bonecrush) and have much longer trips. I'm essentially looking for a cheap thing to do over the weekend, and i value prayer, range and effigies greatly Would prayer urns at black demons be good? Do they work with the xpweekend? I think this would result in much better range and prayer xp overall if it works.

All Dungeoneering rewards
To purchase every single dungeoneering reward you need 2614000 tokens, which is about 26.14m exp, which is level 106. But you should add a few k onto your xp as token amounts are rounded down, so you get an extra 0-9 exp every dungeon compared to the tokens divided by 10.

Doing prayer on xp weekend! (No. Really.)
I'm mainly doing it for the range xp, charms and effigy drops. The fact the bones are buried for a decent amount of xp means i don't have to bank nearly as often which will speed up everything. Not everything is 'x is faster, y is slower, do x.'

Chaotic Rapier vs Dragon Dagger spec
he's estonian, a lot of knowledgeable RS gamers are estonian. The records for most xp in 1 hour for the skilling ladder beta are held by an estonian RS clan. They don't necessarily speak great english, but that doesn't mean they don't know their stuff. Anyways, you really need to cite how you calculated your max hit values. Because you've historically been incorrect the last few times I've seen you making DPS claims. I mean at first glance, you've already calced the slayer helmet bonus incorrectly. It's a 16.67% bonus to damage, not 15% to strength like the KB claims. Please read obliv's max hit thread or something, and double check your work. This is far from the first time you've posted false DPS calculations. I used tip.it's max hit calculator for everything above. I don't speak spanish, i wouldn't post '¿de dónde lo tomó u' without any relevance on a spanish thread.

Doing prayer on xp weekend! (No. Really.)
Hey guys i know that the alters will almost certainly not work with the xp weekend bonus... But it will work with regular burying bones. But burying bones is stupid. How about cannoning a good bone dropper with bonecrusher? I've been cannoning black dragons recently without bonecrusher, but if i was getting more than 2.5x the xp rate i would not mind 'wasting' dragon bones like that. Plus the range xp and effigy rate would be awesome. Is there anything superior to cannoning black dragons for xp/hour with a bonecrusher though? I was going to do black demons but i dont think it works on ashes. (I may still do them and just bury ashes inbetween kills)

How 2 Become Pro
Slayer isn't worth training for money/charms/xp btw... Only do it if you care about leveling slayer. Because currently there is very little point of training it as everything you kill can either be killed when not on a task or isn't worth killing in the first place.

How money comes in and out of RS
Alching is still the most popular spell and 1000s of people do it daily. The big appeal is the lack of effort doing it, and the fact that it's actually profitable with a lot of items currently. And of course all those guys that use autoclickers to do it.

Strung rabbits foot
Well yeah as others have put it, theres no reason not to wear it, so any calculations would be pointless as it's clearly better than nothing. I do believe it's considerably more than 5% though as i trained 60-75 woodcutting without it with 1 nest, and then 75-81 with it i've had 5 nests. Of course those aren't conclusive at all, but those are my real numbers.
