I'd definitely back a 2 step verification on runescape accounts, like I already have with my gmail account, a lot more secureand keeps hackers out a lot more affectively. I'd even go as far as purchase a secure key, was excited when they announced them in 2008 and was eagerly awaiting the shop selling them even if they did give no in-game advantage i.e. bank space other than a more secure account.

Always, always happens to me, makes me dread having to go to lobby during a break or leaving keyboard, takes me 7-8 attempts to log back in no matter what I do, swap worlds, log out completely even refreshing the browser/game screen. Even worse when it says it to me over 12 hours after my last log out basically first log in the following day :/ argh so annoying

Fact is no matter what Jagex do to prevent gambling/rwt there will always be a minority of self absorbed, greedy players that will abuse the system somehow to make a quick buck, whether that be merch clans/dicers/HCers/gold farmers, buyers & sellers or RWTers. Just a shame that such a small group of players cause so much harm to legit players that earn there wealth ingame fairly. it seems in Runescape, much like rl, greed is a disease, that we have yet to find a cure for.

If, and that's a big if, they bring back ftp high scores they will earn back a little respect from me, although there reasoning for removing ftp high scores in the first place is pitiful.

There are exceptions, I met my wife through Runescape, fast forward 4 and a half years and we have a daughter, son and year's worth of marriage to our names.

I heard about the game, decided to give it a go seeing as it's billed as 'terrifying' but it is really a massive let down Started the game collect 4/8 pages kept seeing a lanky, faceless MIB agent in my flashlight randomly, then wham I am hit by static and a grainy CCTV of a white oval...no scare value at all, replayed the game a few more times same reaction (or lack thereof) to the Slender Man catching me 'terrifyingly'. Wish I never wasted the time downloading and playing now...prefer to go play some of my old Silent Hill games on Playstation 1 & 2.

Team GB are finally doing well, 3rd in the rankings is decent finish for the host nation. We have done well in some events I really didn't expect us to, and have a nice spread of medals across multiple disciplines.

There's an effigy limit now though...and don't think you can bank dragonkin lamps, so he's restricted to 6 effigies at one time I think. Wouldn't hurt to stockpile peng. points maybe though? Ugh, I tend to forget things I wish didn't happen actually happened. I know what you mean, still dumping 50 peng points on new skill then 6 dragonkin lamps should give anyone a hefty boost on levelling, specially if it has low xp/hr at lower levels such dung.

Or hold onto the 50 points and spend them all new skill day of release

I'm not surprised at all to be honest. RSGP has a cash value just as jewelry, cars, and credit cards do. still you expect this sort of news article over drugs etc. but an online currency or as reporter puts it 'magic coins' lol

Problem is people have reported using a weapon different to the armour class they are wearing and hitting a lot of 0s, so you could prolong the fight and waste more food/prayers.

I've heard he has 100% protection rate on his prayers, so maybe it's a glitch seeing as no protection prayers now are meant to be 100%, looking forward to fighting him when lag at barrows dies down. So far Den's idea seems best mix armour and dual wield styles and hope for the best. Just a shame armour swapping kills your adrenaline, when it seems so vital with Akrisae. Do super restores work yet to restore your adrenaline? maybe they may bridge the gap of armour swapping.

Lucien's goal was to become a God yes, but the dragonkin kill for the sake of killing, they killed the temple knight on mos le'harmless, Iridia on the ritual site, and have attacked Edgeville post-Rotm. They say it's because the destruction subsides there rage at false users using the stone, but it's still a front for abusing power for power's sake. Maybe they're sophisticated storage containers for the stone's power, and using the stone causes the power they receive to increase until a point where the rage, i.e. the power they receive is too much for there bodies to handle. Does raise a question though on how we'd defeat such an enemy, we already have teamed up with Majharrat, maybe an alliance with Nomad may be in the cards, or we can somehow 'mis-use' the stone so much it overloads the Kin's bodies, causing them to explode. And with Zaros' imminent return emphasized, maybe he'll play a part on stopping the Dragonkin destroying the world, seeing as he is supposedly unbound by the Edicts, being out of the plane of existence prior to God Wars & Guthix Edicts. We already know what he's capable of, he helped Azzandra hit Lucien for nearly 18k damage (this is pre EoC as well, imagine the hits after EoC) during ritual and that is why he's still not in our realm. Edit: now I have more time to expand on Lucien, he's a more complex example of abusing power,in the way that he is truly the only antagonist to truly reach his goals, his first goal I believe was to get the power to either a) survive the next ritual of rejuvenation b)become powerful enough to not need to partake in it Of the two A seems more likely, hence him going after the staff of Armadyl to give himself the edge over the other majharrat. this is based on my assumptions he was a relatively low tiered majharrat, after gaining the staff, he must have heard of the connection it had to the stone of Jas, and Zamorak's ascension from majharrat to godhood from wielding both (although he seemed to lack the knowledge that Zamorak only gained godhood after stabbing Zaros). The events of WGS is where i believe his change from goal seeker to abuser of power begins. When he acquires the Stone he believes he is a 'God' as he states in the dialogue from RotM, So upon gaining the stone in his mind he reached his goal of becoming a 'God' (his second goal after gaining the staff to survive the ritual). From then on his actions take the form of abusing power for power's sake, much like the dragonkin do.

I only killed guthan and ahrim, found tunnel in verac's crypt, looted chest before Verac even appeared, I got the costume unlock notice, killed Verac for the hell of it then tele'd back to barrows entrance, will try Barrows start to finish when the lag fest eases off, maybe sunday evening ish, will be my first time doing it since ROTM so looking forward to fighting Arkisae (sp?) Edit: any news when the steam punk outfit is credited to our live accounts? was vague in news post.

I don't have a top 10 for hardest quests, I found most easy enough, ones that caused me most grief were Nomad's and Summer's end. these were the only quests I ever actually died on, and I died multiple times on each. DT, MEP, Underground Pass, WGS and such I found enjoyable and actually rather easy. Just ROTM til QP cape now, so may have to add a third quest to my list of hard quests or maybe not...
