It's been "It's a Rune Platebody" for at LEAST 8 months, because I remember having one when I first became a member, and examining it because I was walking to the Taverly Dungeon and had nothing better to do. I remember this specifically because my response to the examine was: "No duh, Jagex." Anyways, as far as I can remember, it's always been "It's a Rune Platebody."

I think I've been stealing your streaks, Leesters...'cause I went last night and a bit today, and in 24 chests I got a Karil's Crossbow, Verac's Helm, Guthan's Warspear, and Dharok's Platebody. Each were about 5 or 6 apart from one another, and I can do 6 chests per run. So I ended up averaging an item per run. But yeah, Barrow's has been treating me VERY nicely lately. But about the chest, I have no clue. From what I can remember from seeing it, it looked like it was made out of either bronze or wood. But....*shrug*

Wow...50 trips? Took me a total of less than 9...and I got it the very first day it came out. 8)

Actually, 200 for Bronze, 100 for Iron, and 50 for Steel is quite accurate. I had 2 assignments of about 125 iron dragons last week, and from killing all 250 of them, I got 2 dragon plateskirts and one dragon legs. Just because you might be having a dry-spell, doesn't mean everyone else is. :?

Lol...Runecrafting is NOT the most overlooked skill. It's highly coveted by most users, however, no one wants to do the work involved in training it. I have over 1 million exp in Runecrafting, and I don't regret a minute of training it. However, I DO think the most overlook skill is Theiving. Though it's not the BEST money maker, the gems you can theive from the Rogue's Den at higher levels are amazing. I theived gems from level 66 to 68 and got over 500...crafted them all, which got me to level 70 crafting. lol

wow, you got lucky, ive killed about 1.5-2k gargoyles and ive had 11 rune helmets 9 addy boots 1 maul 1 mystic top, and you go with pies and get a maul! :x  Didn't even realize they were that rare of a drop. Now I feel special. :P
-
I love them...I used the Admiral pies the first day they came out to fish sharks, and just an hour ago, when I discovered what the Wild pie did, I went and killed Gargoyles and got a Granite Maul. (Alright...so the mauls aren't even worth much...but I've never owned one, and it feels good getting one as a drop. lol) So my opinion...the new pies ROCK. And my 86 Cooking level is making me even happier than it was before the update. ;)

Warning! Tai Bwo clue can't be solved!
Outsanity replied to ShadowFire's topic in General Discussion
You know...Tai Bwo Wannai isn't the only village made of bamboo. Unless I'm mistaken, Shilo's buildings are bamboo as well. Check there. :? -
Agreed on the runecrafting, and Merchanting may be a good way to make cash, but I prefer to make my cash the good ol' honest way. ;) Anyways...I can make 500k+ an hour with Runecrafting natures through the abyss. Once I get 75 rc, I'll make more, and once I get 91 rc, I'll make double that. So no...compared to Runecrafting, mining, fishing and woodcutting look like nooby skills. Combat, to me, is the next best way to make cash. You get lots of exp (slayer, too, if you're on a task) and you become stronger, with the added bonus of the cash you could get. And to whoever said Barrows wasn't good cash, tell that to the Dharok's Greataxe and Guthan's Platebody I just got from barrows last night, in only 5 chests. ;)

That's so funny. You can completely tell how he tried to be sneaky by changing the screen, but he failed so horribly. Funny find, though. -
Tip.It Times Presents: English: Its Proper Form
Outsanity replied to oddfaery2's topic in General Discussion
When I read that the newest edition of the Tip It Times was written by you, Zonorhc, I just knew it was going to be a great read...and indeed, it was. I must say, you covered a lot of ideas that I myself value as a person of intelligence, and then some. However, that being said, you've got to think of this: A very small fraction of the "chatspeak-speaking" population is even going to click the link to read the article, because as you said, the majority of them are children, and children aren't interested in articles about grammar, unfortunetly. Secondly, we also have to consider the very small fraction of them that WILL read it, will probably either close it out after the first "big word" is read, or will read it and not change their ways. Hopefully, however, this will affect even a slight amount of the people who use the barbaric shorthand and will spare us a pint of relief. Wonderful job though. If I was wearing a hat, I'd tip it to you. (Sorry for the lame pun...but good job anyways. ;)) -
Yes, of course. I filled all 3 of mine months and months ago...before they doubled in price. Muaha...lol

stats of the mage training arena equipment! (WIP)
Outsanity replied to gunshafted's topic in General Discussion
Ummm...you're the one not being logical, my friend. Just because it's worth millions, doesn't mean it's going to have some insanely high stats. What about Berserker, Warrior, Seer, and Archer Rings, hmm? They only give +4 to certain stats, and yet they are worth millions. Also...what about the Amulet of Fury? It costs 300,000 Tokkul to buy the stone, along with 90 crafting and 87 magic to make...and yet the Amulet isn't THAT much better than the Glory...and it can't even be charged for teleportation. You might associate high price with high statistics...but I'm being realistic when I say: The Masters Wand won't give more than +20. The ring prices were set by players not jagex. The fury DOES own, but you can get it for free via fight pits/tzok jad. The new wand however costs a fortune. I agree that it will be arround +20 but i still wanted to point out the flaws in your arguement. Flaws in MY argument? I don't think so, kid. All YOU did was reassure and back up MY argument. You might not have caught it...but the point I was making was that players almost ALWAYS decide prices of new items, so the masters wand, though it would surely sell for millions of gp to another player, wouldn't necessarily NEED to be "insanely" great. 20 seemed logical, and the point the person before me was making was that just because it was expensive that it was good. Also, the Fury Amulet is NOT that great...yeah, you get the added defense, a little bit more prayer, and 2 more strength...but 300,000 tokkul isn't just something you pick up for "free." Sorry...but have no idea what mind altering drugs YOU'RE on to even consider you could ever get a Stone from that stor for "free." The new wand is only a fortune because Jagex made it expensive as far as points you need to buy it, just like the Onyx Stone and the other Tzhaar items...however, we all know that just because Jagex sets them to insanely high prices, it doesn't mean they'll be insanely good. -

Nope...I still use 58. I've too many friends who play on 58 to just stop playing there. lol

Oh God...HOW did I know this was another topic whining about Player Houses and Carpentry before I even clicked it? How DID I know? Maybe if you read and comprehended what Jagex wrote, you might take this from it: They said TOWARDS THE END OF THE YEAR. This doesn't mean it has to take place in the Year 2005. All it means is that it takes place TOWARDS the END of year 2005. So, to me, this includes the first month or two of Year 2006 as well. Honestly...you guys are just so impatient and WHINEY. If it comes out, it comes out. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Go train some existing skills while you wait...really. lol
-
Just for a decoration, right? As long as your not suggesting "Ong, it'llz raise yur runez u make bi lyke doublez!" then I like it. Here's MY suggestion though... Why Tiaras? I think Jagex should make Rune Crowns or something...same properties as the tiaras...but a crown. I mean...come on...tiaras look stupid. lol

And once again, here's one of those moments where I nod and smile because Lpinkus has saved me the trouble of telling people that free players should not get more stuff. Anyways...yeah...you don't need it, and if they released one, it most certainly would NOT be "like the kalphite queen" At the most, I think it could be level 100...that's it. If you want higher, buy a membership.

Imagine...such an original idea! I love it! And of course, I had never thought of Player Owned Houses in Runescape until you mentioned them! Genius, novel idea! < This is my face bulging after seeing about the 100th thread on this topic.
