  1. I'd give myself a 9.5, simply because I don't use any sort of chatspeak, but I do, however, often make typos (as everyone does) and forget to put periods at the end of some sentences. I try my best to use my best grammar, though. I mean...why shouldn't you? Just because it's a game, doesn't mean you should sound like a moron, right? Edit: To Cardovilian...I'm American, born, raised, and live in the U.S, and I actually prefer and USE the European spellings. I personally find them more grammatically correct...but that's just me. :?
  2. You know...it's quite funny to read all these comments that people with 99s have no life, but really, the people making these statements are just ignorant. First off...I doubt many of the people who play Runescape know how easy, simple, and quick it is to obtain certain Level 99 Skills. Hunting is one of the fastest skills to get to 99 in the entire game...so the fact that there are over 20 people who have 99 Hunting really isn't that amazing. It's easy to level...and to those who think otherwise, all it means is that you have a lack of patience with a skill. Typically, those who are amazed at "high leveled skills," are just people with a lack of attention span, who can't usually stick with one skill for more than an hour or so at a time. And secondly, who's to say they have way too much time on their hands? Maybe they have that time because they manage and organize the time it takes them to do the necessary things they have to do in real life. And furthermore, it really isn't up to anyone to dictate how they spend their free and leisurely time. If they want to play Runescape, let them play. No need to speak down upon them as if what they do with their time is less important than what you do with yours. Oh, and just to kill the moronic comments I know people will fling my way, I am in professional musical theatre, and have been in and put on 4 shows already, this term. I may not have the time to get 99 Hunting within the first 2 weeks of its arrival, but I most certainly do not put down those who do.
  3. I want the Runecrafting, Prayer and Herblore capes REALLY badly, but unless I become super rich super fast, the Prayer cape won't happen. Runecrafting would take MONTHS, and Herblore I guess is plausable. I mean, I already have level 83...if I stuck to it, I could get it in a month or two. But right now I have three capes heading my way. 99 Cooking, 99 Fletching and the Quest Cape. So I'm content for now. :)
  4. Lol...it's not so much of an insult as it is an annoyance...but... UnSainty. It's like...how freaking moronic can you get? Clearly it's not even close to my name, but you'd be surprised how many people have called me something along those lines.
  5. Lol...if they actually give you a straight, solid answer to that, I'll shave my head bald.
  6. What is impractical about never needing supercompost, or balls of wool, or anti poison potions. If anything these spells have increased the likelyhood of group playing. Somethin gthis game dearly needs. yeah but instead of needing super compost you need nats and astral runes!!! thats gotta be like 1k a go maybe more, for a super compost!!! wouldnt you rather use the normal way i know i would. and as for the anti poison potions ure gonna be taking up 3 spaces for an antipoison where normally you could just take up 1....pretty useless spells. the only one i think will be useful is the npc chat for slayers and maybe waterbirth island tele for dag king hunters...other than that a pretty bad set of spells... You're wrong...in SO many ways. First off, the runes aren't hard to craft what-so-ever. You figure you spend about 500 gp for the essence (or free if you mine them) to get the astral and nature runes for the supercompost spell...with an earth staff you don't use up the 15 earth runes. So that's free-500 gp for a supercompost. Plus you don't weigh yourself down with the supercompost buckets and whatnot. Secondly, the anti-poison spells aren't just "3 spaces for 1 potion." The runes are stackable. Theoretically, you can have unlimited anti poison potion in 3 inventory spots as long as your runes hold out. Thirdly, I doubt you have even given these spells a CHANCE. Have you tried them out, thouroughly? They're a famer's DREAM. The teleport spots to the fishing guild and catherby are FAR closer to the farming patches than the regular ardougne and camelot teleports. The other two farming patches can be accessed via a glory teleport and an ectophial. Also, you can cure a diseased plant with a spell, and have no fear of ever losing a plant while you ran back to a bank or shop to get a potion to remedy it. That, and there's the fact that if you make House Teleport tablets, you can teleport to your house while having the lunar spells on. If you have 6 portals in your house, you can get every regular teleport while STILL having lunar on. Basically, you're a fool for calling them useless, is what I am saying. You're either ignorant of their potential, or just a damn fool.
  7. You know what the real question is that should be asked, here? Why is it that you all are so insecure with your masculinity that you need a crown to feel like a man? Sounds like a bunch of closet cases, if you ask me. :-w
  8. I've heard many good solutions to spice up the slayer skill, and I'm sorry, but for me, this just is not one of them. :?
  9. You're being biased and either untruthful or unaccurate in your analysis. Here is how your list SHOULD look: Magic Capes: Fire Cape (Att/Def), God Capes (Att/Def), Legends Cape (Def), Obsidian Cape (Def) Melee Capes: Fire Cape (Att/Def), Legends Cape (Def), Obsidian Cape (Def) Range Capes: Fire Cape (Att/Def), Legends Cape (Def), Obsidian Cape (Def) Note that ALL the capes that give melee defense and attack ALSO give magic AND range defense and attack. Technically, the only type of attack style that gets more capes than the other two is magic. So if you want to complain about range having an unfair disadvantage of capes, lets make sure you at least get your FACTS straight first, eh? :shame:
  10. As they say, you can make some of the people laugh all of the time, but you can never make all of the people laugh some of the time. I personally think Jagex has good taste in humor, thank you very much.
  11. Whats the code? ckp -.- never mind You have to finish the quest and then go there. Once you do, you can pick as many as you want. They die away as soon as you start picking, and reappear in different places, so it helps to be quick. This update rocks for herblore. You can get exp so easily now without every paying a dime for ingredients.
  12. I am not 85 Slayer and went in and DID NOT get skulled. I also went in 3 times, so I don't understand how people are getting skulled.
  13. Umm isn't high alch the speciality store price? So it wouldn't be exactly fair... EDIT: Some where like Canfis. Lots of stores for drops like abyssal whip, metal boots, equipment etc. A orb to all masters. A area with 2 cages, you can go in a cage and then unlock the 1st one. can only have 1 person in a cage set at a time. I am aware of this...but it would still be very fair. Think about it. When you're killing a bunch of one monster and get like a million boots, it's a bit hard to sell them all to players, especially if they're adamant or below. With this idea, you could at least get some extra compensation for the semi-rare drops without having to find someone to buy it off of you. The prices could look something like this: Bronze: 1,000 Gp Iron: 2,500 Gp Steel: 5,000 Gp Black: 7,500 Gp Mithril: 10,000 Gp Adamant: 15,000 Gp Rune: 25,000 Gp (Not like you'd sell it to the shop, but still.) So see? The prices would still be fair. You'd only sell the lower, harder to sell boots to this shop in order to make them not SO worthless.
  14. If this is the case then the mask should be reserved for high lvl monsters such as metal drags. :-w Has anyone tried using their completely uncharged Black Mask with the suspicious-looking slab of stone that has an indent of the mask on it, which is right near the entrance to the Cave of Horrors? :-w
  15. 1. Level 75 Slayer and 100 Combat to Enter 2. Location: Somewhere in the Desert, that can be easily accessed by Carpet. 3. Pros: ~There would be a scrying device in the guild that would allow you to speak to all 4 of the slayer masters from the guild to get new assignments. ~You would be granted to change your assingment. However, you would HAVE to do the next assignment you are given, and can't change until it is done. ~Of course, a shop with all your slayer item needs. ~A Store that would buy slayer boots and certain slayer dropped-items for higher than regular high alching prices. This would maybe give more of a use to the bronze-mithril boots people get as drops, and have trouble selling. ~Teleportation portals to both Slayer Tower and Slayer Dungeon. ~A Mini-Game where you must kill waves of slayer monsters in a multi-combat zone, single-handedly. The more waves you kill, the more slayer exp you get. It would be an alternative way to gain experience, though killing monsters regularly would still be faster.
  16. if i recall correctly, runehq might have 1, but im not sure, im a tipiter also, jagex ain't talking thats for sure Rune Hq's technically isn't even theirs. Lol... ...they got their formula from Rune Bits and Bytes, and it's no where NEAR being 100% perfect. Tip it cracked the code, and no one else has, I'm pretty positive they don't want to give away the secret when it clearly gives the site a HUGE advantage over others. And Lord Soultar, your comment made me chuckle. You sound like Plankton from Spongebob, trying to get his hands on the secret formula for the Crabby Patty. :P
  17. Wow. I didn't think it was possible for someone to be so brainless and naive, but I guess I've been wrong before. I feel not one ounce of sympathy for you, at all. There was a warning. You ignored it. You died. That's what you get. Plus...120k isn't that much at all. I could make that cash back in 30 minutes of runecrafting, so consider yourself lucky.
  18. What are you, nine? I'm sorry, but if a game can impact your morals, then you shouldn't be playing. End of story. Besides...changing the name of the skill won't change what the skill actually IS...so your idea is faulty. Plus, if we nix this, we may as well nix the following: Combat. Killing is violence? Violence is bad? Blood on walls of dungeons. Blood means violence? Violence is bad? Zamorak. Evil is bad? All food eaten in one bite. Obesity is bad? I mean...god. If you're so "pure and moral" and really feel that your willpower could be pvertaken by a GAME, then maybe you should stop playing....and possibly see a psychiatrist.
  19. Yikes. And I thought the "Ability" Skill suggestion was bad. Sorry. No. Expand the Games room. Fine...but make a whole skill out of it and get exp for "winning?" No way. [-X
  20. Level 80 Ability just to get 1 lousy fish instantly? No thanks. Bad Skill. Bad Suggestion. Sorry.
  21. tell me where would you be without the f2pers to get your stuff? broke? getting them your self? wanting them back? You make no valid points. I mean...it's MUCH easier to get supplies on Members than it is with free. We can get everything they can, in way less time. If free fell off the face of the earth, i wouldn't be phased at all. Everything I buy is strictly Members. Oh, and for that tasteless shot at trying to call me arrogant. Perhaps I am. But I think that for everything I've done in the game, and all I have had to put up with crap from people like you, I deserve a little higher status. Yeah, I voiced my opinion. Most f2p players suck. They just plain suck. They beg, the scam, they whine, they follow you around for no apparent reason. It's a crapshoot on f2p, and you're only level 89. I DOUBT you've had even HALF the trouble as I do when I log into an f2p server. Face it. No one agrees with you. You're not going to sway anyone's opinions on F2p players because most of us PLAY the game and know exactly what we're talking about.
  22. Mining. Gah, I hate mining.... My second least favourite would be Farming...but my vote still stays at Mining. I hate it so much... [-(
  23. If you can get a Rune Axe onto Entranta, you could most certainly get a Dragon Axe on, too. Next time my Dragon Axe's head falls off, I'll try it out.
  24. I think you're off a bit on your judgement. I have fist hand experience with both f2p and p2p (as all members should) and I know for a fact that I meet a LOT more nice people on members than on free. Yeah...there are some on free, but not many. Most beg, scam or call rude names. Not saying this doesn't happen on p2p, but it happens a LOT MORE on free. Oh, and level does matter. Try walking into free when you have 112 Combat. People freak out and act like idiots. If level doesn't matter so much, then why the hell aren't they jumping at level 3's and such? Oh, that's right... ...because level DOES matter.
  25. It only fixes it temporarily. If you switch to another window at ALL or your computer recieves a download or e-mail or ANYTHING outside of that window, it freezes and goes white. It's best just to log out, close the window, re-open and login again. That fixes it permanently. (Until it happens again, of course  )
