Is it Now The Godliest Pk Wep In Runescape?
Outsanity replied to Hellisback0's topic in General Discussion
The Darkbow special always hits something, whereas I have seen the DDS his 0s MANY times. The whip, also, my friend, cannot hit 52s. It can hit 51s, and that's only with a slayer mask on, killing the monster you have on task. And even then, you'll probably only hit the max once every 75+ hits or so. So yeah, I'd say Darkbows are very dangerous. Not that the dds or whips aren't, but they all have their pros and their cons. -
In light of King's Ransom: RESPAWN POINT discussion
Outsanity replied to Ts_Stormrage's topic in General Discussion
Your points to me are invalid. A. No one with Law Runes would waste time dying just to get a free teleport. B. The bank in Seers is closer to the Camelot respawn than the bank in Falador is to the Falador Respawn. C. If you die, losing stuff, knowing that you may be able to go back and salvage the lost items, you will want the closest bank to your respawn. Thus: Camelot. As personal experience, I was recently mass-thieving seeds off the Ardougne Master Farmer and was not watching my hp. I had on a black cav, fury amulet, thieving cape and some other mentionables, but more importantly, over 2m in seeds I had already thieved. I wasn't paying attention and died. Quickly, using my new CAMELOT respawn, I ran to the bank in seers, grabbed my Ardougne Teleport Runes, teleported, ran back to my death spot and grabbed every single lost item. Had I been futher from a bank I could have lost more than 3m. (When I died I just kept the fury, cape and dueling ring. lol.) So no. I disagree strongly. The Camelot respan has a MUCH better use than both the other respawns...combined. ;) -
The Agility Arena award is moot, to me, since Ape Atoll is way better exp, even with the Arena's "boosted exp per ticket." But the Shilo Teleport is the real treasure. It's a Slayer's best friend. Trust me. In Short: Worth it.

I did... You're possibly the only one. Summoning is a plausable skill to release. And a LOT of the people on this thread I can tell have not done Swan Song, therefor don't know what the heck they're talking about. Runes won't be required, and should the skill be released, it will be an actual skill, not part of the Magic skill. Jagex has said in the past the skill would be released. And those of you who say, "Well Jagex promises lots of things that don't happen," I would like to remind you that for almost 3 years people constantly complained that Jagex lied about Player-Owned-Houses, and a lot even said it would never happen. Yeah...it was a smack in the face for those people, I'm sure.

There's also the possibility of chopping off a bit of the stone outlining the interface. And anyway, Jagex has managed to squeeze them in before, they'll find a way to squeeze them in in the future. Oh, and I love how people still believe that Jagex is going to raise the level cap to higher than 99. Unless I am mistaken, it has been stated by Jagex Mods that the cap will not be raised. And anyway, there's no need to raise the cap. The point of a 99 is to have a reachable, realistic goal for players. If they raised the level cape to match the cap of 200M exp, you would have to get like level 125 or 126 in every skill to have max stats...and that's unrealistic for ANY player.

I bet you never knew... ~\500+ facts collected/~
Outsanity replied to tintin113's topic in General Discussion
Lol...that's the oldest trick in the book. Pkers drop items (such as mystic tops and dragon scimitars) worth more than the whip and pk the people who pick them up. People unknowing have no idea the dragon/mystic items will be kept over the whip. They do the same thing with cannon parts. Are you kidding us with this? EVERYONE knows this stuff. Oh, and by the way, the high scores update when you log off. If you don't log out, they will NOT update. It's not set by time, it's set by logging out. At least know what you're talking about before you post, hmm? Not true. That's only true for certain monsters such as Barrows Brothers and, from what I can tell, Dark Beasts. You get 4 Attack/Str/Defense exp and 1.33 hp exp per 1 damage dealt. That applies to almost all monsters in Runescape. To contribute: You might not know that in the new Training Grounds from the new King's Ransom quest, you can teleport out of the game with a ring of life, go back with a full inventory/health/etc, and start right where you left off? I originally went into the game with D'hide on, so I had very poor defense. I made it to Sir Lancelot and my ring of life (which I was wearing for the quest, as I always do with new quests) teleported me out with 2 hp. I ran back with full dragon on and a new load of more shark and super sets, went in, expecting to have to start over, and boom. Sir Lancelot attacks me, I kill him, and I win the game. :) [All 3 posts moved together ~Kill Life] -
AHAHAHAHAHA!!! Soooo glad I had 99 Prayer banked before this update. It seems people are buying Dragon Bones for up to 2k each now...which means I made about 20M off this update. Not like I'd sell my bones for 99 Prayer, but you know. =-p

Nope. Not a glitch. Just a very smart player. Used rings of recoils, I will bet you. There'd be no other way. Rings of Recoil are the only way to train slayer without gaining any sort of combat experience what-so-ever. Zzzamorak, Soul in Pain and Eternal Dad are prime examples of the amazing players who use this method.

The "Best-Skill-Cape-Outfit" Contest 2.0 (TIME TO VOTE!!!!!)

Runescape Name: Outsanity Cape: Thieving -
Oftentimes raising your stats opens up ways to make gp faster. For example, I spent months to get 90 Slayer. The Dark Bow came out when I was 88, and I sped on through to 90, buying extra prayer pots so I could use attack and strength prayers while slaying to get even faster exp an hour. And in the past 4 days, training from 123 to 124 combat (98 att/str/def and 99 hp) I have gotten 12 Dark Bow drops, and sold them all for 3.7m each. That's 11.1M gp a day while getting massive amounts of melee exp at the same time. That's just one example, but I will say this: High skills > Wealth, anyday.

What's the deal with Karamja Gloves?
Outsanity replied to Psycho_Robot's topic in General Discussion
I personally never used those methods, mainly because I didn't know that you could sell longs (u) for more cash with the gloves. I wouldn't do it anyway, though. What a bad, non-exp giving way to get cash. Go Jagex. :) -
Why is Jagex pushing boring skills in order to advance?
Outsanity replied to ice_age0's topic in General Discussion
Ah, another, "I don't want to work hard to earn good rewards," post. When are you going to realize this game doesn't revolve around pures nor your own needs in general. Lots of people like the skills you just mentioned. Just because you find them boring doesn't mean other do. How pompous of you. -
Reinvest in micsselania: maples lose money!
Outsanity replied to MrBowser's topic in General Discussion
No one ever cut their maple logs unless they desperately needed fletching exp...and then it's just a waste of time since yews and magics are faster, with better profit. I always sold the maple logs, and the nests and seeds I got provided the pure profit. Nothing has changed, and your theory, in my opinion, is moot. -
Yep. They are indeed down once more. Twice tonight this has happened, but I fear this time it will be another few hours like when it happened 2 nights ago. Oi, Jagex...you really need to get with it.

Err...I can't say I do (except bloods and laws) None of the runes you mentioned cost more than 320 each now. Bloods already are 500-600 each and souls are 300-400 each That's pretty much guaranteed since there is no 2x for the two highest runes we can craft already (deaths and laws). In reality, blood crafting will probably never come out. It will be too much of a headache trying to slow people down. If they were as fast to craft as deaths or nats, they would end up being almost the same price. Which is something Jagex probably want to avoid. You have no clue what you're saying when you say that Jagex will want to avoid dropping prices in runes. Jagex couldn't care less about the price of anything. They leave the economy into the hands of the players as far as how much things cost. That, and it has been confirmed by jagex that Blood and Soul crafting will be released, but as to how far ahead in the future it will be, is not known. Death runes took years, but they came out. People said all the time they'd never release them. But they did. You don't seem to have a clue about common sense. It doesn't make sense to make bloods as easy to craft as other runes when they are supposed to be higher than deaths and chaos. Jagex are not idiots. Haven't you noticed bloods cost a lot more in the shops than deaths? Why would they do that if they didn't care that bloods should be more expensive. 5 years after the first dragon items were released we still don't have the kite or plate. Don't hold your breath. I won't turn this into a flame-fest, but you are the one without common sense, clearly. You may not have been around when deaths came out, but when they did, people CONSTANTLY said they'd be harder to craft than any other room. And they were...if you used the actual altar way. If you use the Abyss, then they are just as easy as ALL OTHER RUNES. Bloods WILL be the same way. They made a rift for Bloods and Souls. They will use them. THAT, my friend, is common sense. And I will be willing to bet you everything I've got on it, too.

99 Cooking and Fletching, with a twist!
Outsanity replied to O_M_G_Guasto's topic in General Discussion
What makes you smarter when you get "unneeded" levels instead of warriors for example? 99 att+str for example helps a lot more than 99cooking+fletching. For me fletching actually was my 8th 99 skill, taken a bit before farming and prayer for one reason: I wanted a triple 99 instead of double and fletching was obvious as it didn't even take any work. It's everyone's own choice what they do in this game. It's not away from me if someone takes 200m cooking xp, 99fletch+cook or stand decide to stand at Karamja fishing spot singing Elvis. However at the moment we are at forums discussing about 99fletch+cook. Good for you :P You say that we're here to discuss 99 Fletching and Cooking, which is true, but with that the author intended the topic of why people have the right to put someone down for a choice of training. Yes, you can say whatever you want to people in the game. It doesn't justify it or make it right, however. That's the equivalent of saying I could go shouting obscenities at random people down the street and it would be fine because I can say what I want. -
99 Cooking and Fletching, with a twist!
Outsanity replied to O_M_G_Guasto's topic in General Discussion
I have 3 Level 99s; Cooking, Fletching and Thieiving. They are among the fastest 99s to achieve, yes, but they took time, and as you said, the MAJORITY of RS doesn't have them. I say...if you have the 99, go ahead, mock someone all you want. But if you don't have 99 cooking and tell someone 99 Cooking is SOOOO easy to get, then ask yourself why you don't have it. And don't give crap like, "I don't want it," because that's the cheap way out. Also, SMART players train those skills to 99 first. They not only raise your skill total and total rank, but open up new doors for you. Unintelligent, ignorant and and immature players are the ones who go around putting people down for their choice of time spent. And for the record, I have 2,019 Total level with 3 99s and all of my skills but mining and agility (both 76) are above level 80. So though I have "easy 99s" I have more than done my share of "difficult skills." -
Well...for one, like a lot of people have said I get these: "How long will 99 Thieving take me to get?" "What skills cape is that?" (I hate this one...the icon is RIGHT on the back. Just look before you ask me) And of course I always get the dreaded, "Can I see ur emot3, plz?" Then...randomly, some guy messaged me through PM and asked if I was qutting RS. I had never met him in my life before and he wasn't even on my world. lol. There's probably other strange ones I can't remember. Typically I don't talk to people at the FIRST sign of stupidity, so I never give them quite enough time to ask real stupid questions before I put them on ignore.
-
Everyone "neglects skills," but there are certain levels of neglect. In my opinion, my skills all rock because I only have 3 under level 80 and those are all over 76. I guess the skills I train the LEAST are Agility, followed by Mining, followed by Smithing.

Don't forget that Karils is the best armor to use while soloing Daggonoth Rex when you don't want to be pummeled by magic attacks. lol.

What is your favorite outfit to wear all through Runescape ?
Outsanity replied to sk8afalife's topic in General Discussion
I'm currently wearing this outfit, though my outfity typically changes every once in a while. (Though the Dragon Chain is almost always included. lol.) -
If you had to fight alongside an Npc, which one would it be?
Outsanity replied to headhunter2006's topic in Questionnaires
Lol...yes we do. The Monster Examine Spell from Lunar Magicks tells you the max of any monster you examine and Jad was examined by someone on these forums. Apparently his max is either 97 or 98. I can't really remember, but I know it's one of those two.
