  1. Well...I was thinking of doing Firemaking...but now I may just raise that to 90, and try to 99 Hunter if I like the exp at Red Chinchompas after 80. We'll see.
  2. Thanks He11s. And Jazz...I know. Your f2p-i-ness ruins my fun. =-p Oh well. (1990 Total now, by the way! 10 levels to go!)
  3. Thanks to everyone! And DrgnSlyer15, you have some pretty awesome stats, there. Lots of 99s. Good luck to you on 2,000 Total, as well. :)
  4. Thanks! Hopefully 2,000 won't take more than 2 weeks. It really depends on my rehearsal schedule, I suppose.
  5. Well, after about a month and a half of playing whenever I could find free time, I have obtained 99 Thieving. Unlike the other two 99s I have, this one was actually difficult to get, as I wasn't on any sort of break. I have had rehearsals for our Spring Musical, Seussical the Musical (Which opened Thursday-Saturday and went very well!) until 6:00pm everyday, and I never got home till at least 6:30. So, with that in mind, you may see why this is a fairly decent achievement for me. It was hard...I was busy...but I set a goal , put my mind to do it, and, in the end, reached it. Here are my current stats: My next goal is to get 2,000 Total Levels. As you can see, I am only 11 levels from achieving that. ~Outsanity
  6. I personally don't have a problem saying my levels. If someone wants to know, I'll tell them. They'll respond how they want to, I suppose. Usually, yes, I'll get the "Omg...you rock. My level is so bad!" response...but that really can't be helped. I will never put someone down for their levels (Unless they're a friend and I'm motivating them to train. But shhh...that's my secret. =-p) Anyways...my point: Yes...it's not good of them to put themselves down. Can you force them to think more optimistically? No. Semi-Sort of-Kind of Off Topic Thought: I'm going for 99 Thieving, also! Currently 97, and about 900k from 98. XD
  7. I've been having the same problem. It's soooo annoying. Especially when I'm trying to get 99 Thieving by playing Pyramid Plunder, and I get to the top floor and lag out. I'd be fine if I just resumed on the top floor when I logged back in, but it completely kicks me out...and most of the time, I lose like 10k exp. Happens at least 5 times a day, too.
  8. Ohhhhhhhhhh, no, THATS not criticism, this is, you @&%#! Just kidding, but please try to be nice a little, 100 Cmb is really no small feat. It's no large one, either. Just saying.
  9. I'm going to say congrats because you obviously made a goal and achieved it... ...but you'll learn as you reach higher levels that combat 80-100 are actually pretty terrible. Not a criticism on you or anyone else, but compared to the 120s, they're nothing special.
  10. Good luck with it...though I doubt it will come as a challenge to you. Fletching's pretty easy to get.
  11. I think I'm going to say Mining. I LOATHE the skill with a passion. It's slow, tedious, monotonous, and a poor money maker...even with Rune mining. Skills like Slayer and Runecrafting are slow, yes...but at least they're rewarding.
  12. Lol...wow...50k gp an hour, you say? I'll be rich if I do this! (end sarcasm) Sorry...not trying to be mean, but there are MUCH better training spots than this that give far better gp an hour. And no, I'm not just talking about high slayer monsters like Abyssal Demons, either.
  13. The first 99 was my "everyone I know must be there," moment. That was Cooking. Then, when I got 99 Fletching, I told one person I was about to get it, went to the magic trees south of seers, cut a log, and made a Magic Shortbow for the remaining exp. I didn't make a huge deal out of it. Yes, I was happy...but it wasn't nearly as exciting. Currently I'm working on 99 Thieving. I'm 93, with about 7.3M exp. This 99 will be different, because I actually like the cape's colours, it's a cape not AS many people have, and it's been hard for me to level because of my busy school schedule, even though I've been using pyramid plunder. I get the exp fast, but can't ever seem to play much a day, anymore.
  14. No...it wouldn't be. Fletching is one of the easiest skills to level, and I know people who went from 1-75 Fletching in 24 hours time...it's not really hard. Especially at 85 Fletching. It's so easy to get exp, you can get about 2-2.5M exp a DAY...and that's not even pulling a 24 all nighter...that's just playing for like 15 hours or so.
  15. I hear you, i want a decent fish at 90, Herblore gets alot of updates, slayer needs something and a skill that lacks massively IMO is hunter, imps need to take like 5 not 2, and fletching is getting old :P Are you kidding me? Herblore does NOT get a lot of updates. It's gotten THREE in like...a years time...and only one of them was actually useful. We got combat potions (With the effect of regular attack/strength pots, not supers), Saradomin Brews and the new Anti-Poison/Disease/Super Restore potion...Saradomins being the only actual useful potions. I'd also like to point out that the highest potion is the Super Weapon Poison...which is only level 82. Lets get some ACTUAL useful potions in for the level 82+ Herblorists, eh? Now...I DO agree that skills need expansions before we release more...but to the person who started this thread...I DOUBT they are going to release Summoning this month, if ever. Just because Construction and Hunter got released so close together doesn't mean the next skill will follow the trend. I think you forget it took like 1 year for Farming to come out.
  16. The full set adds 6 exp to every magic log. I remember that, for sure. Can't remember the others, though. And anyway, there's already a thread on this. Why don't you search for it?
  17. Actually...you're wrong in that Port Phasmatys is best for Smelting. There is a new furnace that came out with the Fremminik Island Quest. It's on the island with the Yaks, Trolls and Arctic Pines. It's a smaller furnace located slightly northeast of the bank if I remember correctly.
  18. I got that drop, as well. Only I got mine on my very first KDB kill. I played almost two years without ever even going to the KDB lair, then one day my friend said he and a group wanted me to come with them...and I was bored. So I did, and boom. Dragon Med Helm, KBD Heads, Dragon Bones and Black D'Hide in one drop. :) I also got a Quadruple-Item chest in barrows once. Guthans Spear, Dharok's Great Axe, Ahrim's Robe Top and Torag's Hammers. And...hmmm...I don't know. I tend to get lots of good drops from everything. I've got 9 whip drops, 3 d meds, 2 d skirts, 1 d legs, 2 pharoah's sceptres...and then of course over 35m in Barrows stuff. (From when I ACTUALLY did Barrows. Now it's not worth it.)
  19. Yeah...I don't agree with that statement, at all. There is a Mind Shield, as well...which, if I'm correct, pretty much trumps your statement. ^-^ (In other words...quit over-thinking things. There's probably just going to be a body helm and a body shield released with the next installment of the quest.)
  20. 99 Runecrafting, for sure. The emote is awesome, I could get double natures and the cape itself earns tons of respect. Herblore, too. I just loooove the skill. :) Edit: To the guy above me...you're a bit off in that statement. Construction also gives two (if I recall...the magic cape rack also requires 99) items at level 99. And don't try to say, "Well...you can tea/stew up to 99 construction!" because you can stout up to 99 smithing. =-p
  21. Yeah...I'm pretty disappointed with Jagex. When they said there was going to be a good Herblore update, I got excited, having 86 Herblore, myself. They really need to start releasing higher level potions and/or herbs...and useful ones, at that. Sure...saradomin brews are nice, but you only need them for certain tasks, like the Fight Caves, Pyramid Plunder and drinking the occasional dose while abyssal rcing for extra protection. I say it's about time they release something that makes my hours of time herbloring worthwhile.
  22. Lets try not to be rude, ok? He probably just lagged and clicked too many times. I could say the same exact thing about any and all of the skills you or anyone else trains...but that wouldn't be fair, now would it. You're entitled to your opinion, yes...but lets try not to be one sided, here. People often ask me why I train Herblore and Slayer even though I can make every potion and can slay abyssal demons. My response is always the same: Because I want to. The best players in Runescape don't train their skills until they reach the max item/monster/whatever that skill can obtain for them...they train because they love training, and also, in the longrun, to get 99s.
  23. I know you already realized that you can use the cannon and such to train...but I'd also like to point out that you do NOT get the same hp exp as slayer exp. Hp experience is calculated 1.33 exp per 1 damage done, while slayer experience is calculated 1 by the max hp that monster has. In other words, you will NEVER be able to get more than 111 exp from a fire giant, but while battling it may regenerate an hp or so. This means you may do 112+ damage to a fire giant while battling it, but will never recieve more than it's max hp for your slayer exp. (111) This, combined with the fact that you get more hp exp than slayer exp per monster, means that getting 99 slayer without any other 99s would indeed be difficult. A cannon would be necessary, as would rings of recoils.
  24. Total Level: 1,971 Average Level: 85.695 Working to make that average higher, obviously. 2,000 Total level is my goal, right now.
  25. 99 Cooking (For obvious reasons) 99 Fletching (Same as Cooking) 96 Hp (Since I've been doing slayer a lot lately and want combat levels) 95 Attack/Strength/Defense (Same as Hp) My combat skills may be high, but I'm not really a combat player, either. Lots of my other stats are very high even for my level, like my herblore, runecrafting, Construction, Hunter, etc...
