  1. I'd love to buy every ranaar you grow for 2k each  they sell for more like 5-6k to be honest But I dont think anyone yeilds an average of 10-15 each harvest , nor any harvest at all Actually...I just farmed 88 ranarr seeds as a way to get my farming up, with watermelons for even more exp. (Which I got for a steal, at 2k each, rather than the normal 3.3k -.-) ANYWAYS...this is what 88 seeds got me: 607 Ranarr Weeds, all sold at 7k each. That's 4,249,000 Gp, folks. And, of course, that's INCLUDING dead herbs. About 7-9 of those seeds died on me...so...you figure, an average of about 7 ranarr per seed, I would've gotten another 400,000 Gp had they not died. I did those herbs in less than a week of farming. They helped get me to 70, also, which was my last 70 I needed. Oh...and while I farmed, I runecrafted law runes, making an average of 1k laws for every cycle of Herbs I picked. 22 cycles = a whole lot of laws. Worth it? Are you kidding me? I think so. 8-)
  2. Crafting level? Magic level? Duelling rings are very easy to get once you have the levels to do it yourself. Gems are everywhere for sale, cuts are not that expensive. Monsters drop them, gem rocks, gem stores. Gold you just dig out of the ground, and if you enchant your own rings, each one gives you 4 trips to the alter. I would consider KEEPING it for when you do natures, and using a method that uses the cheap ess. It's just good sense :). Or my favorite, the gem rocks in Shilo :D You still use the gem rocks in Shilo? I didn't think ANYONE did anymore... ...why would you when you can get them 5x faster at the Rogues Den safes? :P
  3. do qust and get me a pic of her not owning u. I did the quest within the first 45 minutes of its release, before any guides were made and before anyone could tell anyone really what the level 170 even WAS. I took black d hide and my whip through the whole quest, since it has the best "all around" defense that would prepare me for anything. I killed her. NO prayer. NO food. And she didn't hit me once. I seriously don't consider her to be a threat in the least. But that's just me. 8)
  4. this is probably the 88 Harsh 8) . That was insanely funny story, gave me quite a few good laughs. Some people in Rs really need to get past the maturity of a 5 year old, but without them how fun would this game really be? :P A ton more fun. I can't stand those idiots clouding up our game with juvenile attitudes and childish language. Nice conversation, though. You completely took care of him. I know it may seem like he thought he was still the Cat's Meow when he logged off, but truely, I bet you his ego was crushed and he weeped into his pillows, hours afterwords. :P
  5. I agree. You're trying to make it into something that's it's not. I've read the books, and I'd never make that referrence, nor do I agree with your theory. Trust me...you'll KNOW when Jagex parodies something. There are so many Monty Python and Austin Powers referrences in this game it's not even funny anymore.
  6. Any player who has ever fought at higher levels in runescape knows that the more accurate the weapon, the more damage you can do any hour, thus increasing the exp you can acheive hourly. That's why I laugh at those strength-pure idiots who think that just because they can hit high, that they are better fighters or something. I have owned too many "strength" pures with my EQUAL stats that's it isn't even funny anymore.
  7. etleast the helm gives str bonus... but full dragon is more like something yo have then wearing for real combat... bttr buy battow if you need it for combat :P but its still buttr then rune etc... i'm sorry i didn't understand a word of that if you dont understand that maybe you should pay attention more in english lessons :S "If you do not understand, maybe you should pay attention more often in English lessons." I apologize, but I felt the need to grammatically edify your attempt at correcting someone else's grammar, above anything else. Anyways, the person selling the "Full Dragon" was obviously trying to falsely advertise in order to attract more attention. He apparently did, if you traded him wishing for a good deal. (As you should have. Full Dragon for that mere of a sum would have been a steal.) What it all boils down to is: If it seems too amazing to be true, it most certainly is.
  8. A. Yeah, I think this is sort of spam, since there are plenty topics on the mini game already AND it seems more like a Rant to me, so it should go to the Rant forums, at least. B. There's a 15 point limit that you can have AT ONE TIME. You just go spend them and you can have more, obviously. It's only to prevent people from abusing the system and going right back on the boat as soon as they leave, and get like a bazillion points without ever having to make a trip to go spend them all, first. That's my opinion, at least. My opinion? Get over it. Spend your points when you get full. It isn't the end of the world to have to click a little bit every 15 games.
  9. Dragon Med Helm Dragon Chainbody Dragon Platelegs Dragon Sq Shield Amulet of Fury Abyssal Whip Warrior Ring Barrows Gloves Rune Boots Full Dragon for the win? :D
  10. UGH...I hate those people...cannot stand them one bit. I mean...I spend tons of bones to get the level I have, and then when I'm being team by like, 5 people at castle wars and I pray, I get called a "Prayer Noob." Ok...EXCUSE me for using a feature of the game that I WORKED to get, to save myself when I'm being teamed. Give me a break. ANYWAYS...I don't bury normal bones. I know to you it seems like a waste...but to me, you burying those bones is a waste. Imagine all the hours you probably invested in just burying bones for some lousy exp. You could make upwards of 80x more exp in the same amount of time for ecto-ing dragon bones, than you would by burying regular bones. Just think of all the things you could be doing in the time it takes you to bury all those spare bones. ...but hey. That's just my opinion, right? :P
  11. Yeah...Jagex pretty much destroyed my beautiful Dragon Chainbody. It looks SO ugly in the inventory now, I almost want to scream in fright. ...and Dragon Mediums are STILL purple-red tinted in the inventory picture!!! I can't stand it! The ONE thing I believe TRUELY needs changed...isn't changed. -.-
  12. Personally, I don't think it's needed...but if it WAS implemented, it'd have to look something like this: Special Restore Potion (ALWAYS 1 Dosed, like Weapon Poisons) Effect: Restores 50% energy, but the user takes 30% of their max hp as damage in return. The potion cannot be used more than once every 5 minutes. Pros: Obviously, you can gain back 50% of your special bar in a split second, which could determine a lot in a battle. Cons: You take damage when you drink it, and you can't use it more than once in a 5 minute time period. For some, 30% of their total health is 33 Damage....quite a lot of damage, but might still be worth using. Ingredients: Coconut Milk, Torstol and Crushed Black D'hide Herblore Level Required to Make: 92 So yeah...that's pretty much what it would HAVE to be in order to keep it balanced. If you didn't take damage in return, and it healed all special, and could use it more than once in a row....it'd be way too overpowered. Personally, I like my idea.
  13. Ahhhh...don't waste your hides doing hardbodies. Coifs give more exp.
  14. Shorts alch for 960, actually... ...Anyways. If you buy the materials for the following prices, you'll get not only a little bit of profit, but lots of feltching and magic experience in the process: Magic Logs for 1,000 Gp. Bowstrings for 150-200 Gp each. Natures for 300 Gp each. Total Cost for Materials: 1,450-1,500 Gp. Alching Price: 1,536 Total Profit: 36-86 Gp per bow. So yes...they are profitable...though people don't really do it for the cash...they do it for the experience.
  15. To those who are hellbent on proving that they have more sense being called "Dark Gloves," let me ask you this: Is there such a thing called a Dark Platebody? Dark Platelegs? Kiteshield? Squareshield? Med Helm? Full Helm? Longsword? Battle axe? ...NO. There is not. However, the class above dragon is generalized into the name "Barrows." Therefor, since the gloves are above the "Dragon" Gloves, they would have more sense being called "Barrows" gloves. Hell...you could even go into specifics and call them "Dharok's Gloves" when you're wearing Dharok or "Torag's Gloves" when you're wearing Torag....etc....but DARK gloves? No...I don't think so. And I really couldn't care less what a mod calls them. The fact is, Jagex DID NOT name them in game, so therefor, they can be called whatever until a time Jagex might attach a pre-name label to them. Until that time, I'm going by what makes SENSE, not by what some idiots think sounds cool.
  16. I'm just glad I got Outsanity when I did, because about 2 months afterwords I was walking around Draynor and saw an Outsanity2...-.- But I love my name...I personally think it owns. :P
  17. Lol...I'm sorry...but I just cannot take you seriously. Have you EVEN got a pair of them yet? The quests required to even FINISH Recipe for Disaster should be enough. Don't start complaining that we get something great for not being the skill noobs who have 100+ combat and STILL haven't completed all the quests. They're not overpowered. The are fine, and they are justified by the long road needed in order to get them. Also...Black vambraces have better magic defense than they do...and they're only better than infinity gloves by 1. Plus...infinity was never supposed to be a great set anyways, seeing as how Ahrim pretty much shames it's hat, top, and bottom. Take it from me...someone with 210 quest points AND higher skills. I know it's not the hardest item to obtain...but not a lot of people have the determination to get it.
  18. That's not necessarily true. I firmly believe that once the Dragon Pickaxe comes out, that the requirement will be bumped up to 60, and that the speeds will increase. I believe the only reason the Dragon Axe isn't faster at the moment is because they're waiting to release the Pickaxe at a later date. ...afterall, why should it be fair to speed up woodcutting, but not mining? My point, exactly.
  19. That's why in the end, Ladies and Gentlemen, the pures always lose. 8) Sorry for being harsh...but did you honestly expect to be able to wear such a great item as a pure? Pures aren't meant to get them. End of Story. C'est la vie.
  20. I went from 67 to 68 agility using the monkey course...and let me tell you, there' absolutely NO doubt in my mind: Monkey Course for the win. :D
  21. I always thought it was pretty obvious that once they release the Dragon Pickaxe that the Dragon axe will be upgraded. In my opinion, the only reason the Dragon Axe isn't better than rune is because they haven't released the Pickaxe, yet. Once they do, I'm sure it'll make sense for them to make them better for skill-based abilities. Why they didn't just release both at the same time an make them upgrades from rune, is beyond me...but ah well.
  22. Hmmm...I'm really starting to want to get a fire cape now. I mean...I could afford everything needed...I'm just not sure if my stats are good enough. Here they are, if anyone wants to give me any pointers: 86 Attack 85 Strength 85 Defense 87 Hit Points 86 Magic 76 Ranged 70 Prayer I know my prayer's more than good enough...but what about ranged? Should I raise it more, or can I do it with 76 if I pot, etc? I've got the full dragon and a fury, and whatnot...now I just need a nice, shiny fire cape to go with it. :P
  23. Lol...I think Jagex might've been making a reference to Britney Spears with that one. XD But either way, I don't care what ANYONE says...Zanaris is awesome now, and the colour is so great. My new favourite place in Runescape.
  24. *shrug* I don't think it's TOO rare, because I know of lots of people who it has happened to. It happened to me twice. First time I got an emerald and ruby out of the same rock, and second time I got 2 diamons out of the same rock. Ah well. Either way, I'm sure it's not really too rare.
  25. I finished all the quests ever since the day Mourning's Ends - Part 1 came out. And ever since then, I've done every single quest the DAY they were released, including Mourning's Ends Part 2 without a guide. (Though I give credit to OddFaery2, who helped me through the last puzzle :D )
