  1. Thanks. And by the way...I pretty much love you for the Evanescence lyric quote in your signature. Thought I was the only one on these forums who loves them. =-p
  2. I've come a very long way in my Runescape journey, and one of the best thing about the game that keeps me playing is the long term goals I set for myself, and, in today's case, achieve. For the past couple of months I have been slaying away, task after task, hoping for a couple of milestones to pass by. The first one I looked forward to, was 85 Slayer, which I got a few weeks ago. Continuing on afterwords (still slaying) I was preparing to meet a long term goal I have wanted for a very long time. Today, I have met that long term goal. Here are my current Stats: By request, here is a small sample of my bank: Notice I'm not that rich for a typical 120 Combat, but also notice my home is worth well over 45,000,000 Gp, I have spent over 35,000,000 Gp on my Prayer level, and have shoveled out a bit of cash for other skills, as well. I believe in raising stats over having tons of cash, so I typically never have much more than what's in the picture above. (Oh, and the 23 noted boots are adamant and the 98 noted capes are Spottier, just to clarify.) Next stop: 126 Combat
  3. I mean this in the nicest possible way...but you don't even have 7m Total exp. There's no way you can fully understand the point in Total Exp at the point you're at in the progress of leveling and exp. Exp is a lot easier and quicker to get in a lot of skills than you may think. It is possible to get over 3,000,000 Cooking experience in a day by cooking shark. Fletching is about 2,000,000+ and Theiving is somewhere between the two. Combat skills are now super easy to get experience in with Pest Control and the release of the Black Slayer Mask. You're right about the RC exp taking a long time...but think of all the cash he's made. Even if Larryr gave away half of all the natures he makes (Since he makes double natures) he still could potentially have almost 17,000,000 Nature Runes. If sold for even 300 Gp each (at 200 gp profit each) he has made over 3,400,000,000 (3.4 Billion) cash from the skill. So while the exp is a nice motive...oftentimes, the skill is rewarding in itself. Oh...and not to mention that total exp is VERY important when you're in the small batch of players that has all 99s and you want to rank up.
  4. Zamorak, because he's the god I choose to "follow." Lol...it's more fun being on the bad side, anyway. ^-^
  5. Amulet of Fury...and glories really are not "almost as good as a glory," either. Sure...the attack bonus is the same, but you get 3 more strength bonus, 2 more prayer, AND its defense is a whopping 12 more in everything...which helps...a lot. Glories are used for teleportation. I've got 25 of them I use until they all run out of charges, and recharge. Typically, I don't have to recharge more than once every week or two, depending on what I've been using them for.
  6. Give my vryewatch emo hair and I'll toss you off a bridge. ^-^ But it's coming along very nicely, Jazz. I'm very happy with this update. I'm assuming the potion won't be closed, though, because of what we discussed at the very beginning of this whole process. I still really want that. But great job! Keep it up, and listen to all these wonderful suggestions.
  7. I don't mean to preach or anything...but you're slicing you're own throat by saying that. I mean...it may not be your "style" to train things you don't enjoy or find a use of...but training them makes you a better player. I look DOWN upon TONS of Level 126 Combat people daily, because, while their combat may be maxed, typically a lot of them have low total level. In short...if you don't want to train farming for the fact that doing snapdragons/ranarr/kwuam herbs can make you TONS of easy cash...then at least train it because you won't have level 118s looking down to you when you're 126. =-p Oh...to any future, "Your so vain/self indulgent/an *not nice word*"...you're probably right. But do I care? Probably not.
  8. 99 Theiving isn't hard to get anymore with Pyramid Plunder out. I can understand you maybe saying this about it before the mini-game...but now...it's just like cooking, basically, which is stupidly easy to get. lol.
  9. Well...for one, wasting your time posting on the forums asking how to get better is only going to waste you more time. But really. There's no secret. You get exp and cash faster as you level more and more. It just comes naturally.
  10. Ouch. That's not bueno. XD I've been scammed a few times in my RS "career," and it never does feel good. But the thing to remember is that you should always pick yourself back up and get get back on track.
  11. The Quest Cape is a JOKE compared to any other Achievement Cape. Sure...it's cool that you've done all the quests...but it's so common that no one cares anymore. The "high levels," you speak of were probably just being jerks. That does not and should not reflect upon the rest of us. Besides...the question that should REALLY be asked here is... "Why aren't we ridiculing the high levels who DON'T have the Quest Cape?"
  12. I have added u in the list because 3 left is REACHED in my eyes Congrats Not really. But I completed all quests. Yeah...take him off your list. It's a disgrace to those who actually HAVE completed all the quests to include him, when he still has THE hardest quest to complete. Remember, kids. ALMOST perfect isn't good enough. You think when someone ALMOST survives during surgery that it's the same thing as them living? No. I didn't think so. Put my name down. ~Outsanity
  13. If you're poor enough to even question the purpose of it, you shouldn't be buying one. For people who make like 500k an hour when they want to, 250k is like...irrelevant. And besides...if you're taking that route...why would a person pay over 400M for a silly blue hat that gives no bonuses?
  14. Of COURSE they deserve respect. All achievements (not only in just 99s, but even things like getting CW armor and such) deserve respect. If you take the time to train it to 99, and someone who does NOT have 99 comes and tells you that it's just an easy 99 and everyone has it, just reply, "Well if everyone has it, why don't you?" Ignorance in people is growing, today. Don't take it seriously if someone tells you it's not something to brag about. Sure...99 Fletching/Cooking/Firemaking/Theiving/Hunting may not be the hardest skills to get to 99...it's a lot better than MOST people in RS have. THAT is something to boast about. Good luck on your 99 Fletching. You'll get it. ;)
  15. People who say things like this are completely missing the entire point of this. (And possibly a funny bone or two, as well?) It's meant to me IRONIC and for FUN. I mean...what's funnier than seeing a level 99 skill master fail at their appropriate skill? And don't try to say that because they are masters of the skill that they can't fail. I'd like to remind you that people with 99 attack, range and magic don't ALWAYS hit the person they are attacking. Splashes still arise occasionally. So if they can fail, then what makes you say it's completely ridiculous to think of an idea such as this? I personally like it, and as some have already said before me, I think there should be a second icon next to the first skill cape emote labeled, "Skill Cape Fail" or something. It would be awful funny, and besides...don't 99s deserve more than one emote, anyway? ;)
  16. Well that might explain why you just used the word, "stupider." I ALWAYS get people saying, "Wow...99 Range!" and I'm like..."Uhhh...no, it's a Fletching Cape." (Honestly...the capes are two different sets of colours...it's not hard to figure out.) I also hate getting asked to light people's lanterns for them. (They are untradable in lit form.) I also love when people come up to me and say things like, "Nice whip!" etc...when I'm wearing an Amulet of Fury, which is worth far more than a whip.
  17. You shortened the wrong part of the arm. The length from the elbow to the wrist was fine how it was (it was proportioned with the right arm) but the length from the shoulder to the elbow was (and still is) way longer than the right arm's. So yeah...that, and the left arm's "fattness" are the only two major issues I have with it. :) Keep it up. :D
  18. Bit specific considering you made it up. Sad thing is, is that he's probably not far off.
  19. I think everyone who put "Magic" forgot that their precious spells do not work unless they have the correct runes to cast them. And where else would they get them, but from... ...A 99 Runecrafter? BWAH. 8-) (Now THAT'S what I call a moneymaker.)
  20. Farming by itself will, obviously, be boring...but that's why you do something ELSE while you wait, you silly people! Like, for me...I often will do my agility training as I farm. Sure...it's not the most exciting thing in the world, but I don't think my agility would be 75 right now had I not farmed. And another good thing to do (In my opinion) is to do herblore while you farm. It sure has done MY Herblore level a trick or two. ;)
  21. Highest Ranked - 85 Herblore - 1,072 Lowest Ranked - 78 Fishing - 76,959 In short...I love to do Herblore, and I HATE to fish. ^-^
  22. I have one word for you: Slayer. And I completely disagree with everything you've said about the fact that all it does is grant you "bragging rights," about not using Pest Control. It doesn't just give you the right to brag, it gives you respect, and it DOES give you more knowledge of the game. Training Slayer alongside combat allows you to kill monsters you never would without it. It gives you a reason to go into different areas you normally would not. And in my eyes, (and the eyes of many of the more respected people who play this game) people who use Pest Control to level combat, are the same noobs I see running around everyday, who have 125 Combat (They're usually all too poor to afford more than 90 Prayer), yet only have 1500 or so total levels. These people try to earn respect with their combat level, because that's what is visible to all players... ...but if you want MY respect, you're going to have to do a bit more than try to make yourself look like a better player than you actually are by getting combat high. I check the high scores, and the high scores don't lie.
