Well it's all in the beholder's eyes. You used the word "kiddier," which right off the bat tells me you're young, most likely around the age of 14-15. Now, if 8 years olds are playing, we may have a problem. But you can't ever REALLY prove that, and the only thing you can do is ignore the immaturity or quit playing the game.

I already wrote a detailed suggestion on the suggestion fourms that had INSANELY great feedback. Search for it and it should come up easily.

If you buy something in the ge you cannot sell that same item for another 4 hours through the ge.

Yep. Knew this already. I use my Lava Titan to mine Rune and when I need to kill the KBD for Black Dragon Slayer Tasks.

FM needs good update, read tifers ideas 5K+ Views!

Yeah, and get this...burning logs worth more exp means FASTER experience, and less logs to burn. Less clicking + Faster Experience = worth it to me. It's just a skill to get a 99 in and raise your total with. That's all. It may have a future upgrade, but for now, quit thinking down upon it so much and realize if you don't like training it then LEAVE IT ALONE. It's not going to kill you if one of your TWENTY-FOUR skills is not being put to use. lol. -
It's not an uncommon saying, it's just a little before this time, and since I'm GUESSING (not going to point the finger of accusal) most people on these forums are only like 15 years old, they haven't heard the saying, and they try to think they're being smart by associating it with a drug, which it is not. "(4 Letter 'S' Word) or get off the pot," paraphrased means "Go to the bathroom already, or get off the toilet." As in saying, "Do what you say you're going to do, or quit prolonging it since it's obviously not going to happen," type of thing. I really think people on these forums need to educate themselves before they go off making ingorant comments. It just makes you look like a moron, to be blunt.

Um...wow. You really want there to be nothing lefted untied? How boring would that be? Imagine having a game where everything is solved and nothing is left for you to wonder about or to spectulate about. Think of the Harry Potter series. Anyone who has read them can tell you they are not simple children's books. They are masterpieces of literature and have and will forever been placed in the history of literature. And look that what J.K. did. Did she answer everything in the books? Did she explain every little detail of each and every character to their fullest before, during or after the series? No. That would be boring. The reader has the chance to fill in those particular blanks, and that's what keeps the books alive. If Jagex filled in all the holes, you'd have nothing to think about, and then you'd just be playing yet another mindless game that once you complete all the quests, it's over, and you're done with nothing left but to grind skills. Which, don't get me wrong, I love skilling, but the entire world of Runescape and the stories behind how it was built, it's history and what is currently happening in it is what makes it interesting. Finally, if Jagex gave everything to use and left us not wanting more, and leaving quests unsolved or doors unopened, how would they ever be able to keep the updates coming? They stick something in as a taster of what's to come...not to mock you or drive you crazy. It's there to strike interest and to remind you that the game is still alive and will continue to grow so long as there are mysteries left unsolved. Don't be so closed minded, and, might I actually take this path, SELFISH.

And the award for the most moronic statement of the year award goes to... And yeah, laws have always been more profitable, people were just too ignorant to see it, and always assumed natures were better. I've always crafted laws for profit. Now if I want exp, but still profit I make bloods, and if I want fast exp I do the ZMI.

While you have your perspective and opinion, I have mine, and mine says that what you say that "should," be happening, actually, shouldn't. As an online game gets older, more players join and there should NEVER be the same amount of quiters as joiners. That would be totally bad for Jagex and the company would simply make a flat, static income. In order to grow, the players have to as well, and so as time goes on, the game gets more and more players, and more and more profit. That way, that extra profit can be used to pay for more staff to keep up with the growing population. Now...as for raw materials and such. That is entirely my decision, and when I play this game, I usually play to level in the quickest way possible. Some people get all their raw materials by themselves, others, like me, who have the cash to buy skills, can do that if they prefer. It's actually quicker and smarter if what you're going after is speed and levels as opposed to cash. Basically, I'm a little offended, because right now, with the way you've worded your post, it makes it seem as though you are telling me I need to quit just because I'm a high level and have been around for a long time. I don't intend on quitting this game anytime soon because it brings me joy and gives me something to take my mind off the intense musical theatre program I'm currently in. A stress reliever, if you will.

I checked that already and it says I do indeed have the latest drivers.

Sooo...my system meets and exceeds the requirements needed for the new high detail, but for some reason, despite everything else looking great and running smoothly, ALL of my tabs and item icons appear smudged and blurry. Here are pictures below to show you what I mean: Any ideas on what's happening and how I can fix it?

Pet Room - Your oppion on it ( maybe move to H&A)
Outsanity replied to Dire_Wolf's topic in General Discussion
It's indirectly suggestion, but as i said the point with the thread is to get oppions about this idea. I'd hate to break the news to you, but the Suggestion forum's whole purpose IS to get opinions from others on ideas you have for the game. So sorry, no matter how you word it, this is a suggestion, and it does belong in the suggestion forums. Actually addressing the topic, I like the idea. Personally, I have a stupidly large amount of pets now that I am 88 Summoning, soon to be adding on another when I get 90, and I want a way to store them without having to keep them in my bank. Plus, I think it would be better to be able to showcase them in your house than actually with you since, to be honest, I never keep a pet out with me anyway. 90% of the time I play RS now I have a familiar out for pretty much every possible situation. -
RuneScape High Detail To Be Debuted At E3
Outsanity replied to haggisoflife's topic in General Discussion
True gamers can appreciate how advanced the graphics are for a Java based game. If the game weren't Java based, I garantee you that the graphics would own any other game out there. Jagex has the ability to make killer graphics, but the Java factor limits it, yet still, they are amazing enough to come out with an update such as this that make java graphics more advanced than we have ever seen them before. Anyone who bashes RS for it's graphics doesn't even know that the hell they are talking about, and quite frankly, just make themselves look like uneducated morons. -
Your combat level is not by any means a way of calculating how long you've played. Neither is total level. Besides, do you realize how many pest control products there are? People can get maxed melee stats in just a little under 2-3 months now. It's stupid.
-
I have invested over 3 years of playing, with more hours I ever want to admit on this game, but if I ever lost my account for whatever reason, or anything as extreme, I would never cry. Be very angry, yes, but if you cry over a game maybe you should rethink you're life and why you are so invested in something that isn't going to be there forever anyway.

Ranged and Magic doesn't affect your combat level unless they're better than your melee stats. I've gotta agree with highlander. By getting summoning levels, if you are not using them in combat, they are false levels. The same applies to prayer. If you get for example 50 prayer and don't use it in combat, those levels you got from the prayer levels are false. If you DO use summoning or prayer however in combat, then it's a different story. ok max your melee stats while having 1 magic and ranged and tell me what your combat level is i betcha it's lower that someone with those maxed out too You are an idiot. That is all I'm going to say. People on this thread need to educate themselves before they decide to jump into the fun of discussion, because with false knowledge you just make yourself look like a moron, which quite a few people on here have already done.

I bet you never knew... ~\500+ facts collected/~
Outsanity replied to tintin113's topic in General Discussion
Um...it does NOT take 5 minutes for the high scores to update after you level. It updates the second you log out. Change that now, because otherwise these are not facts you have collected. And anyway, a lot of the "facts" you've put down really aren't facts so much as opinions. Like the "person using the emotes usually being muted" thing...that is not true. I use emotes frequently and I am not muted, and usually people I see using them are not muted. So a lot of these are subjective and I kind of think a large portion of this topic is a bust. -
You have to face it. People get certain capes and 99s first because they are easy. Today, there are NOT many people with with untrimmed capes. If someone gets a harder 99, say, Smithing or even something like Agility. They usually will immediately go and trim it with cooking, fletching or firemaking, because those take little time and money to achieve. My first 99 was Cooking and I went from level 85 to 99 in 2 days flat. My second was Fletching, which took about 1 week from 85, as I was not being entirely focused. Then I got Thieving, which only took a month even with the fact that I had school and couldn't play much every day. Then I got my combat 99s. All 99 melee stats + 99 Prayer. All of my 99s were easy to get, and most everyone (other than for prayer) has them. Right now, I am taking a different route. I am striving towards one of the hardest, if not THE hardest 99 to get: Slayer. It takes the longest to get exp even at it's fastest training, slower even than Runecrafting, which you can achieve 35k+ exp in an hour. So once I have 99 Slayer, do you think anyone will care about the other 99s I have? Nope. Because Slayer is respected because it's hard to achieve and the others really are not. It's nice to have a 99, but you're kidding yourself if you honestly think every cape is actually "hard" to get. Of course I am going to respect a cape (such as Slayer or Rc) that a person had to put probably over 600+ hours in to get, over a cape that someone had to put in maybe 50 hours to get.

Double Post. Sorry.

You actually lose money by doing that since if you would have just sold the Natures, Maple Logs and Bowstring as raw materials you would have mad a TON more cash. So no...that is not a way to "profit" off of Manage Thy Kingdom, nor a way to really profit in general. Yes, you make money that you did not have in the first place, but you chop off a huge amount of potential profit by turning them into bows and high alching them. You get exp, sure...but who really wants to do this the long way when they can simply just buy materials for higher leveled bows and make those with their profit instead? Yeah if you can do that I will be seriously impressed. Seeing as you get a max of 30k profit every 15 mins. Therefore a max of 120k an hour can be achieved. ;) : He can junk trade. Go educate yourself.

Puffins have always been on Harmony Island. This puffin is not new therefore it is not Hidden. It is then not a "Hidden Puffin." Therefore this topic is now moot. /topic

People forget about the light sources. No firemaking = no lanturn = painful, horrible death in places like Scarab dungeon or Lumbridge caves. Skill I could live without? Hm...tough one. Skills are all inter-locked together... Might have to say Fishing, since it's (although fast-ish), some pure Cooking items are better than most fish (Manta Ray = painfully hard to get, while Tuna potatoes are easy-ish to make, and, well, they're potatoes...) I also predict that someone in the next Ten (10) posts will say Farming. I'm pretty sure the light source could easily be taken care of with...say magic perhaps? or crafting? However the chewed bones drop is pretty rare as I have killed over 100 mith dragons with about 5 chewed bones drops and crap from every single one >.< 100 dragons huh? lol...try about 2,000. That's how many I have killed. Not a single D Full Helm drop, but over 100 Chewed Bones. No helm from those either, but it's still said to be more common than the DROP itself.
-
shh dont say that, I make so much money from pyramid plunder  oh btw chewed bones are a rare drop FROM Mithril Dragons. :P Actually, oh smarteth one. lol. They are drops from Brutal Green Dragons as well. And I know they are dropped by Mithrils. What I am SAYING is that it is more common to get a Dragon Full Helm from the bones than from the dragon drop itself.
-
Guess I could live without Fletching. I don't use Ranged anyway and in theory you actually lose money if you Fletch your own logs into bows and alch them. I made about 12M profit off of my 99 Fletching because I got it when you still made about 150 gp per bow made. Now you lose money, so it's useless. I mean, in honesty, I love all skills. They all add to my total level and total experience and I love skilling, so...yeah. Besides, just because Firemaking has no use now (Which, by the way, it takes level 85 Firemaking to burn magic logs at the pyres at Barbarian Outpost, which increases the chance of aquiring a Dragon Full Helm, and it has been discovered Dragon Full Helm appear to be more common as drops from chewed bones than from the Mithril Dragons themselves. If that isn't a reason to get 85 Firemaking, I don't know what is.) does not mean it won't have a use later. Yeah, I know, I rock on with the side notes in parenthesis. Be jealous. lol.
