O_M_G_Guasto
Okay, too often do I find myself witness to people mocking somebodies choice of first 99's, which just so happen to usually be Cooking and/or Fletching. The large majority don't even have a 99! Now I'm not saying that they aren't easy skills to 99 but what if you caught every fish you cooked to 99 Cooking. Or chopped every log you used to get 99 Fletching. What would you say to that, people of Tip.It? :-k
Saru Inc
Those area actually skills that I find very hard to get up. Dboy65
well most people dont do that because its simply easier to buy the 99's and turn their products around for a profit

xpx
They are still the 'cheap' 99s and always will be...if you take into consideration how some people got 99 fletching in rsc it is even more of an amazement(no notes, bowstrings had to be traded 12 at a time if you wanted to buy). But now because jagex-es idiotic ideas of making everything easier, they are just 2 pointles skills, and to be hounest, flething, cooking and thieving capes look dodgy too(and have louzy emotes). Skolden
People can argue all they want that you can "buy the skills" in terms of fishing and fletching etc, but you still have to put forth the time and effort to get those skills to 99. Even if it is easier to get level 99 in certain skills, it will always still take time.

MoeSzyslak
LOTS of raw trout and salmon banked from 99 fishing, enough to get 99 cooking and then some. When will I do it? Pfft... who knows.
Redd35151
Cooking is still hard to raise. I've had to get 70 cooking for Recipe for Disaster. Fletching isn't my favorite skill tbh.
acenator
I, personally, have never been called anything negative for wearing my fletching cape (maybe that's because it's trimmed :-k ). I did get 99 wc before 99 fletching though (yews ftw!! :XD: )... maybe that has something to do with it too... :-k > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found
Soma2035
I personally hate how Jagex took all the effort out of cooking. Cooking was far more interesting before Cook-X. But even now I don't buy raw food only to cook it and sell it. If I buy raw fish instead of fishing (rare but I do on occasion) it's to cook it and use it for training. I don't know, I hit 85-86 cooking before Cook-X. After that I never saw any point in training it further. All that shows is I have money... and I personally rather enjoy the skill. Made0f12une
Once you do the same skills for 6 years (Woodcutting) it seems more logical to buy the items then train it for another year to get a 99 fletching lol That's just my stand point. Hunter is new and something new to me so it's easy for me to max it  ^^ClicK^^"I backed my car into a cop car the other dayWell he just drove off sometimes life's ok...Alright already we'll all float onAlright don't worry we'll all float on" - Isaac BrockDays Hunting:4 - Kingly Imps Caught:2Money Earned: 4.5-5m
Kashi
I personally hate how Jagex took all the effort out of cooking. Cooking was far more interesting before Coox-x. berbatovsky
Apparently doing things that are incredibly tedious and slow is an noteworthy achievment in this game, hence all the fanboi adoration of people who DID IT THE REAL WAY. Getting any 99 is a test of dedication and determination. People that think the oldskul way of gettting 2k xp an hour makes that achivement awesome are misunderstanding, they did it that way because they HAD to, if you had offered them an easier way they would have taken it. Jagex made things easier (read-less tedious) because otherwise noone would be playing this game right now. Ps: nothing in this game is 'HARD' or 'EASY' there really is not fundamental skill to it, its just clicking, the only ATTRIBUTE required for a 99 in a skill is the aforementioned DETERMINATION.
