Dragon-fire shield is the best overall. If you want offense over defense, take a rune defender. If you want defense over offense, take a dragon square or a dragonfire-shield. If you want a mix, take an obsidian shield.

You have 100k casts so thats a good 2kish dragons. I wouldn't fret it I were you about getting one. I've heard it was 1:600 but I believe it would be way higher.

Well, you have to remember inflation along with the supply and demand. More and more gold is introduced due to alchemy, quests, etc., so it is going to lose its value. Rares are a symbol of money along with other "rare" items such as 3rd age and the new god armors. I'm not a RSC player so I don't know much about it. But runes weren't as easily accessible besides buying from npc's and monster drops so raising magic was harder as well as bringing large sums of money into the game via high alching. Not everyone could make money as easily because not everyone had money. Rares were still in demand because they were discontinued and were status symbols. Its human nature to want to stand above the rest. You will have alot of people trying to get these items and offering more and more cash for them. Hell, I would like to own a blue, yellow or a white someday. They don't do anything but I would want one for its status and looks as would many of the people I know. Runescape mimics a real world economy and its capitalistic societies so certain trends would apply to Runescape. I'm I getting it right or am I way off?

Noobs are the trash and you shouldn't give them anything. Newbs are the new players and can quickly grow into trash if given the chance. I don't give much to anyone so I don't have to deal with it.

When I was cooking in rogues den for 99 there were only 3 constant people and we had mature conversations. Its easier with small groups.

Alot of people use ruby and diamond bolts against monsters and they use dragonstone and, rarely, onyx bolts against players. I use my crossbow againts pesky mages when I pk to get rid of them with my leet 75 range. They have their uses ever since they were put into the game.

Considering that barrows isn't a metal and all of the armor is not made from the same material, there wouldn't ever be a class of armor made from barrows. The idea of barrow boots and defenders is just ridiculous at best. Hell, the whole term "barrows gloves" is just a nickname given because of the color. Dark sounds better...

1. Ape Atoll dungeon with range+prayer gear and prayer potions. Stand under the stone ledges that are above you and let it rip. A one click teleport is suggested incase things get ugly. 2. Pc and spend points on range. 3. Daggs but you will take damage from range and melee so it isn't a suggested place.

Ya option 2 was almost not predictable none thought they'd be the most expensive thing in the game. Exspecially the blue :) Well, I doubt anyone foresaw that blue was going to be the most expensive seeing how pink was the most expensive in classic.
