  1. That cooking guild bank is so ownage it's not even funny. Mass producing pies anyone? Is it just me or do the new Varrock 2 and 3 plates not fit into runescape. Compared to all the other crummy armor plates we have, those look too complex, too advanced, and just don't look like they belong... It looks like a nice texture wrapped around an old plate body and TBH I don't think it looks good at all.
  2. IT happens ALL the time. Jagex puts the drop rate extremely high to get A LOT of the items into the game so we don't have a whip incident. Having them sit at 20m+ for awhile. They then drop down the drop rate, to where it should be.
  3. There are solutions. Better detection, bigger team for getting rid of them, slow down the number of new accounts being made. Like I said before, they CANNOT sue or imprison anyone without ample proof. Well, technically, they could, but they'd probably loose. Also a lot of sites put up agreements that if any Jagex staff, or are working/in afflation with Jagex staff sign up for the forums, they cannot take legal action against them. They sign, and agree to that agreement so technically, it would be quite hard to get the proof. Not to mention, there's all kinds of agreements and such that the owners of these underground sites come up with to PROTECT themselves from being sued. I'm sure Jagex would love to sue them, but it's easier said then done.
  4. Problem with DDOS attacks is you have to do them constantly to keep the sites down, they can recover quite easily now-a-days Like I said before, I WOULD act as a mole, giving jagex bots and where to find them, but I don't want to ruin my friends hardwork for nothing. I want some kind of ample reward
  5. Terms and conditions. When you hit "I agree" you legally must follow those rules. If you break them, you can face legal action. I totally agree with the String 'em High for the bot maker. Find one, sue so much money out of him, every other bot maker will be thinking "HOLY #$(& on a #$(& sandwhich with #$(& on top, and a side helping of #$(&." Wow, I didn't realise that made the RS rules themselves a real world legal thing. I thought it was the opposite - to stop people from suing THEM for whatever reason (my account was banned/your game ruined my life etc.). That's also interesting Bobbington, I didn't realise Jagex had any power to remove such sites, thus why so many of the "big" ones remain. But I guess what you said is right, there's not a lot they can do if they keep putting them back up, is there? Like I said, unless Jagex can pull up substantial proof, then they can't take legal action. They have to be able to prove that the site owner is violating their copyright terms before they can take action, which technically nobody is. They're basicly just breaking in game rules. Also, these sites really aren't that big. I mentioned before, I still have friends in the underground that I talk to. Just because they cheat it doesn't make them a bad person. A lot of the sites that actually have the programs are authorized (meaning you can't access it without a user name and password) which is either given to you for contributing or paying for. It's been done this way since the dawn of time. Most of the sites, I've spoken to some of my friends recently, are private, or solely underground. Meaning you need to be invited to join or solely underground refers to a group of people making a program and building it for personal use. Most of the private sites don't go over 60+ active members, and is generally below 30 active members. One person can be accountable for 5-10 bots (accounts playing) per computer. But that's pushing the treshold and is most likely going to lead to an I.P. ban, which is when Jagex bans ALL accounts that connected to the I.P. that the player is cheating on, regardless if they cheated on that account or not. A lot of the bots/players in game atm are Gold Farmers, that is different then botting. They play the game to make the product and sell it for real life money. A lot of the accounts you see are simply gold farmers. A lot of the botters now-a-days are much more discrete. Have 1-3 accounts running, for 1-2 sometimes 3 hours straight. Not default clothing, ect. They're taking the steps NOT to get banned. It's the ignorant cheaters that get themselves banned.
  6. 1. You grammar is Terriable. 2. Your RS Cheating history is TERRIBLE. I've followed mostly every part of it and tracked a lot of RSC Cheating. 3.AR was THEE biggest scam in RSC cheating history. The owner had all the passwords to accounts, grabbed 1m here and there from various accounts, a party hat here, a mask there. Also to use it, it was more like 5m+. Not to mention the owner of the program paid someone to make the program for him, he then took all credit for it. BTW AR was the cause of the dupe I mentioned earlier sry but dont give to AR the credit of dupe dude , when u dont kno what u talking about , the guys name is PRAY , and its was his own bot , sry to tell u u wrong 1, im french , so if u wanna flame my english , make it in french 2. back in rsc , my only pker was alfred126 witch i never autoed on him ( only 99 cooking and fishing is autoed ) 3. 2m per month , i did try it ... sbot better , richyt better !!!! -Post removed, forwarded you my proof; I'm done aruging with you- jagex has legal rights to shut them down and they can sue if they want. So why dont they? 1. It's hard to find these sites. If you've never been to one, it's hard to find a legit one that wont steal your password 2. Unless they have legit, solid proof, they can't take legal action 3. A lot of these sites are underground 10 mins of google and i find 3 websites that dont steal pass, have 100% leggimiteti, and jagex know about them but they dont do nothing. They are afraid. I post all 3 in code, ofcorse not website, just middlenames which is used to know about them in runescape officialy worlds [hide]scar scripts, for scripting[/hide] [hide]scaperune, also used for personaly used worlds[/hide] [hide]srl website, wot, they give scripts for free even if you are not thre member?? wot,wot[/hide] i am shure there are 100+ more of them, but i am pretty sure theses are 3 biggest. Flame me if you want, but i didnt bot, altrought i tried with my pure so i can use him faster.and if this is illegal post edit it plz. That basicly revolves around SCAR and SCAR Scripting. I still talk to some people that are part of the underground. A lot of the forums that have programs, the bots, are private and REALLY underground. It would take a little more then a google search to find them.

  8. I offered to be a "Mole" for Jagex, but they never replied. And with past memories, they would probably screw me over. Remember the dupe? Jagex promised free lifetime membership to the person who told them how the dupe was done. They perm banned that user, fixed the bug, and never spoke to him again.
  9. I'll tell you honestly, and straight forward. You can NEVER get rid of them completely. As long as there is someone willing to make the program, and someone that wants to use it, they'll always come back. No matter how good your detection is it, the programmers find loopholes. Nearly EVERY game has bots on it, if you haven't noticed. Whether it's a cheat to help you aim, or shoot through walls, or a program to train your account, they have them out. Also, taking down the website probably wont do anything. I was part of the under ground for awhile a long time ago. The users are part of a tight knit network of people. If the site goes down, they'll relocate, under a new host new name ect. You can NEVER get rid of them all, it's next to impossible. I'm not supporting botting, because YES it is a pain in the behind for everyone, every those who don't play. I hate to see the market plumit like this. I'm just giving you the facts :) Best of luck finding a solution, I already started a topic about ways to get rid of them awhile ago, if you search you can find it. jagex has legal rights to shut them down and they can sue if they want. So why dont they? 1. It's hard to find these sites. If you've never been to one, it's hard to find a legit one that wont steal your password 2. 10. Actually this would be a logical idea, and I would prefer it better. You could in theroy change the xp across properly. All you would have to do is add the xp you would get for I'ding the herbs used in that potion, to the potions XP. Or perhaps, add the ID/Cleaning xp when you put the herb in water, and then the remaining xp when you add the 2nd ingrediant. *Not to mention, this would clear up ROWS of BANKSPACE* And also, what most people dont realize is, yes, Prices of "Unids" or uncleaned herbs will be adjusted, but they also dont realize that Herbs such as Ranarr and other popular ones will go DOWN in price. Why? People who cant even identify them, know what they are, which leads to more people picking them up, and not leaving unkown herbs on the ground. More people picking them up puts more in circulation, and therefore will drop prices. Yes, you cant get them for 1ke in unid form, but a declining price means you can get them for, maybe 6k or less a pop. Im not sure how much they will decline, so I cant give an exact approximation, but its the general idea. If this is true (about the clean herbs) Then herbalist should be happy. They can now make a hefty profit off of making the potions.
  11. Whoa, this brought Bubsa out of the corn stalks. Surprising, haven't see you in forever. A faithful, loyal player has once again moved on. The legends are departing daily, but of course that makes room for more legends to emerge. Best wishes to you Lightning, hope everything is well IRL and hope you have fun. Good luck in the future and be careful! ~Nick
  12. Well my friend, I think we have pretty solid proof on the Mahjarrat link. A little bit more than just silly links. Hazelmere in The Path of Glouphrie quest: Skilled brothers, numbering eight, will assemble to fight the mahjarrat deceiver, and they be heading north to confront him. Oracle in Postbag from the Hedge: The threat from the north shall be of Mahjarrat made. Some people suggested that some or all of the eight could be mahjarrats. Which just doesn't fit. The threat shall be Mahjarrat made, but it doesn't mean the 8 will be. #-o I didn't mean to say that this prediction wasn't about the mahjarrat. That is pretty obvious, eh? If you don't understand something from my posts, please tell me. I feel that I don't understand your message 100%, so if my answer doesn't seem to match your post, then don't worry. Your friend, Perakp. ( :XD: ) -- edit: Referring to this thread @RSOF qfc: 16-17-356-50893382 Did some investigations, and it looks alright to me.. Could be, or then not. Speculating IS fun. From the quest ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâôWhat lies below', Dagon'hai are told to be a zamorakian organization that escaped from Varrock to a secret tunnel leading to the chaos altar. It seems to me though that they aren't zamorak followers, but guthix or saradomin ones. Wouldn't be the first time when history was written wrong. True. The saradominists aren't completely good and honest either (The Oracle and Juna the snake warns us not to trust the white knights occasionally) :wall: Now my brain hurts. I think we can definately conclude that the Mahjarrat are building up an attack from the north, but these 8 brothers may be people who we may not have met before. Barrows brothers... 6 Saradomin priests who protected the river salve... 7 It doesn't add up! :wall: Just because it says 8 brother it doesn't mean that the 8 are actual brothers. Monks are referred to as brothers, and a group of faithful followers/adventures can be refered to as brothers or brotheren.
  13. I'm just grabbing at straws here but Jagex did mention a new rune alter, run by the Zamorakions. This can mean one of two things. A blood alter, or a new rune that would be used for summoning. It's more likely it's the fabled and sought after blood alter, but there is that possibility.
  14. Bahahaha that made me realize. If the gold farmers/green dragon autoers ever emerge again it will be about 100 times easier to slay them =D>
  15. I can see that you didn't read the post/are having trouble understanding the post. Also, I don't see how your post disproves the topics post because your sentences are choppy and not very well developed so I can not understand what you're trying to say.
  16. Not a guarentee. But Jagex has been quite faithful to their word these past 3 Years, maybe we'll see those last things on the list in the near future
  17. Bummer I missed your levels :( Im F2p anyways so I couldn't make it even if I was home. Anyway! Congrats on the levels bro, you look stylin in that chain. Hope you're having fun!
  18. It's not that hard to figure out that it's real life. If you haven't figured out by now you can't take a shot in Real Life, and there is no Smiroff or Jack in RS so how can you take a shot of those? I don't think this is going to catch on here. I'd be surprised if you found anyone of legal age that would want to participate. Not to mention if you actually manage to win the game then you'll probably be passing out on the keyboard
  19. Woot my monopoly man made it ^_^ I HAVE A PATENT ON HIM! :P
  20. OMFG! MEEEEEEEEE http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/5099/meploxpw0.png
  21. Why do you need 3 fletching capes and 2 cooking capes. I can understand 2 cooking capes for spot saver, but why 3 :-s
  22. God dang it everybody! Dearly sorry, I apologize for all of you showing up and me not going -.- I REALLY thought I was going to make it back in time, but I got caught up with the relatives all day. I never know when my schedule is going to change so, again I'm really sorry. I think I'm going to move the time back to 5pm, and swing this on over to Monday. My girlfriend is going to come over and visit tomorrow so I'll be tied up for that. So... hopefully, pray, that this goes down on Monday. Gosh my p2p is running out #-o
  23. I've been meaning to make this one  You do the math
