AHH Don't kill me!!!!! (But Summoning?)

One of the effects that people don't realize about todays wild update is that it paves the way for summoning. Now the monster u summoned can fight alongside u.

 

 

 

Since now in the wild you are able to be hit by both the monster u attacked, and a human opponent, logically it seems that summoning would work the same way:

 

Player 1 summons a goblin which attacks player 2, and player 1 attacks player 2 as well.

 

Now, with this update, player 2 has a choice over which to fight, but meanwhile, summoning is not hindered by the single combat zone.

 

 

 

NOTE: IM NOT SAYING SUMMONINGSS COMING OUT TOMOROW! im just saying that Jagex is paving the way for it in a future update, just like theyve done before...(using a seamingly unrelated update and using it to later to help with another)

 

Now they dont have to change this when summoning does come out...breaks the flaming in half lol (bc u know that summoning (along with any update ever) will get flamed)

Hmm, thats what I thought when I red about the wildy update, but then the extreme humor hormone of green dragon autoers and abbys rcers getting screwed over took over any interrest in summoning. :lol:

Erm.. no.

 

 

 

The update makes it possible for some-one to attack you when you are in combat with an NPC.

 

 

 

It works like this:

 

 

 

Player 1 is fighting skeleton.

 

Player 2 attacks Player 1.

 

Player 1 is now fighting Player 2.

 

Skeleton wanders off.

 

 

 

There is no fighting alongside a monster.

I haven't thought about that. But you might be right in this one. IF they create summoning now, and I say IF, they won't need to change as much as they would have if they hadn't updated this now. It's just to wait and see what happens next, I guess...

there are 2 updates i can think of that u may have got confused with.

 

 

 

1.) god wars - if one monster is fighting another, u can attack the other and be fighting against it with the other monster. but this is only because it was already attacking it, and it is multi-combat, just like 2 ppl can attack 1 in the wildy.

 

 

 

2.) The new update of attacking people/monsters in the wildy - the monster doesn't fight along side you...

The closest we have to summoning in game is nechs.

 

 

 

That's how, in my opinion summoning will work. Except instead you being attacked twice the monster will be attacked twice. Nechs show that summoning is indeed possible within the game code for single combat zones.

summoning would be a great thing to add to magic. jagex keeps updating melee and range and they can hit like 90+ now. mage can hit like a max of 30 if u even have 94 mage to do it.

Its pretty simple how this relates to summoning.

 

 

 

with this update u can be atacked by a human and monster in a single combat zone simultaneously. (previously u cudnt)

 

This paves the way for summoning, in which u summon a monster to help u fight. Now u and monster can fight alongside eachother against 1 opponent in a single combat zone,
