Fletching Yew Long Bows is awesome not only for the money but for the experience in other skills you get from it if you alch the bows and gather all the materials. Some pretty quick crafting xp, some decent mage xp (65.5 per bow if I remember correctly), and some pretty nice woodcutting xp. Although yes it is quite time consuming, but the Gnome Stronghold makes it quicker. Yews downstairs from a bank, and flax downstairs from a spinning wheel, a spinning wheel which is only a hop, click, and a giggle from a bank. Go for it.

It depends. If you're going to kill mages use the ZamFlam. Guthix is a bit useless because most pkers have a low enough Defs anyway. So if you're not killing mages then go for Sara so they can't pray much.

I know I'm probably going to get flamed for expressing what is merely my opinion (c'est la vie) but I don't really like most of the new graphical updates. The demons are all so ugly now. And the dragons are just weird. The only difference between the dragons is their color and I thought this might change when they did the graphics but they're still carbon copies of each other. :-s And the demons... well I guess it was necessary to make them demonic but I'm not really loving it. I do like the Giant Updates though. The Hills are hot now. Before they were just ugly guys in shorts, now ... now they're just so ...rawr. And the mossies/fires/icies are also pretty darn kewl, especially the icies. Looks like sumthing out of Gondam Wings, although I never watched that show. Maybe I'm thinking of something else. The Metal Dragons are fine as they are and they don't need much of an update besides getting physical distinctions among the 3. Maybe soon they'll add Level 310 Mith Dragons. ^.^ Then 374 Addy ^o^ I can't wait for the 451 Rune Dragons ^O^ For some odd reason Bat Country by A7x is stuck in mah head.

You can do this. Ruby bolts take 10% of your HP and does damage to your foe equal to 20% of their hp. There's a pic of someone hitting 48 on the KBD, so I image that the Jad with more HP would be hit for more. But probably not 100 though.

Remember the place on Karamja where you blow the whistle to get to the Fisher King Realm in the Holy Grail quest? For some odd reason all the statues are facing that exact spot. :shock: Anyway... yeah they are for the HG quest. Just because a guide doesn't say something doesn't mean it's not true. Where on the Swan Song quest guide does it mention that you have to supply the Wise Old Man with more runes during the final battle? Nowhere! They have absolutely nothing to do with the legends quest. If you say they do then you obviously haven't done that quest.

I'm a bit annoyed when someone asks me to be their "bf" in this game. Although it's only happened a few times, once is enough to raise my ire. I was just chopping yews in Edge and a random low level girl just comes up to me and asks me to be "her" "boyfriend." I'm like, "Go away i like guys." So "she" says, "Ima guy irl" #-o I just switched worlds. I didn't want to deal with that situation. It scares me how I know that person is probably only like 13 years old max and I don't even want to know what's going to happen to them in the real world when they get older. I'm fine if the two people in an rs relationship are mature, if they actually like each other and it's not some sort of phr33-shtawph-pl@wx situation. But for someone I don't even know to ask me like that really just hits a nerve. If someone's just trying to use me I get offended and I have a tendency to crawl into my Dungeon of Antisocialism and curl up with a bocks of cookies.

I find this very topic weird, because I also aim for getting 85 slayer and 99 defense (16 more slay and 21 more defs ftw) around the same time. It's going to take atleast a year for you to get a decent slayer level though. I started playing runescape a coupla months after the slayer skill came out and about a month after I started playing I because a member and started slaying and I'm only 69. I guess I'm not a people then because I always whip the metals.

If you're a member kill two birds with one rock. Spin flax and sell it, then use the money to buy bones. Or to level pray you could kill chickens, bury their bones, and grab their feathers. Sell their feathers then use the money to buy bones. Buying bones would defiently be one of the qucikest ways to raise prayer.
