  1. Text is overrated it has its place no doubt about it. But I dont understand why people text back and forth constantly when a phone call would take half the time it takes to send 20+ msgs back and forth plus the communication is much clearer (easier/quicker to explain things). Plus with a phonecall people dont become a zombie and can to other things such as paying attention while driving.
  2. the forums you use need to support flash embedding.
  3. I personally think its [cabbage] Apart from the power restriction (was excluded from Western Australia). Im sick of the government picking on young people all the time. I have NEVER had a near collision with a P-Plater not once. I have had ALOT of near highspeed smashes with people in their mid 30s to late 40s who pull out on the road front of me without checking my speed. More often than not their in [cabbage]ty little 4 cylinders I have yet to workout the connection between morons who sit in the right hand lane oblivious to the traffic banking up behind them. The best answer I can think of is that many of them dont use the road as often as I do (hence the stupidity) so they want to buy a cheaper car. Back on topic I think a power restriction would be good idea because I remember what I was like fortunatly I didn't have my current car back then.
  4. If its your lifelong dream to be a moderator you really need to rethink your life.
  5. you CAN NOT take an IQ test online. Anyone who thinks they can probably thinks they can also get their PhD online in just 3weeks.
  6. The problem is idiocy. Dont accept files from strangers.

    E-Mail Forwarding

'Cause the senders are stupid, who crave friends they wont make. Also i get the [insert name here] Has Tagged You! letters, and at the end it said "If you dont reply [insert name here] will think your not his friend :(" Pretty sad #-o I report those as spam because thats exactly what they are. I wish people could just use email as it was originally intended instead of idiots clogging it with crap.

    E-Mail Forwarding

I cant remember the last time I received a chain mail. I used to just hit "reply to all" something I wouldn't do now with the heavy spam crackdowns we have these days (altho technically not spam) Im fairly sure the previous headers are stripped out in forwarding by many servers and clients to reduce the bulk of the mail.
  12. Aye ... back in the days when the only bank space you had was your inventory. I preferred money only banks over. Even back when they were new I never really supported the idea of Item banks. Sure it was nice to be able to store valuable items but I think they made them too good. They should never have given players more then a single bank page, also the 'almost' endless ability to stack items in the bank was not wise. Thirdly I dislike how items deposited in one bank can instantly be gotten from another in a far away town. Item banks simply made the game to easy and made large parts of it irrelevant. I have to agree with you its a little stupid that you can deposit a pizza or sword into a bank at one end of the world then withdraw it at the other end. Having a bottomless pit to store items that can later be withdrawn from any location means nothing ever gets thrown out and there is no traveling required to fetch an item just the nearest bank and you have everything. EDIT: what I mean by bottomless pit is that item circulation in runescape is very low and so is travelling because people do not need to get rid of items nor do they have to travel to a specific location to pick one up. Ill be the first to admit I never throwing things out as long as theres a space it can fit into my garage is proof of this.
  13. You ARE a coward who attacked someone who obviously couldn't defend them self. Temper has nothing to do with it what you did was a cowardly assault on someone possibly weaker than you. Ive dealt with your type alot in the past I can tell you your not as tough as you think you are I suggest you goto your room and think about your actions.
  14. connection speed is normally listed in bits 8 bits to a byte thats 12.5 MB/second download opposed to your 1.25 MB/sec
  15. Since when are schools on their own Jurisdiction? I talk from experience. There's yet to be a school-yard fight here where the police have cared about it. The only time they have ever been involved is when the principle has felt the need to take it further. Parents who have tried to have students charged with assult have been told to direct their complaints to the principle or the board of education if they weren't satisfied. They didn't even get into a courtroom. In that case id file a complaint against the police. I'm assuming this is when you were at school? I don't know what its like over east but the cops in Western Australia cant get away with failure of duty anymore they've been in the spotlight for awhile now (Since it was discovered that they were/are the most corrupt force in the country).
  16. The guy didn't strike back I for one hope you are charged because im sick of cowards like you. Your nothing but a weak little kid trying to be a "Big Man" attacking someone who cant/wont fight back. The worse thing you can do is NOT file charges. Since when are schools on their own Jurisdiction? If he wants to file charges then he deserves to. Why should the victim be the "Loser" in this case I hope he sues you see who the victor is then.
  17. No it's not. Yes it is. you can put virus code into .txt for example it just wont do anything harmful because of how your computer treats it. Rename that file to [Caution: Executable File] however and you have a different situation. It all comes down to how your system uses the code inside the file that counts.
  18. I don't know anyone below the age of 50 who believes in all that stuff a handful over 50 who believe in god or at least "Claim" to believe in him. I know if I were in their position I wouldn't want to admit I was wrong for over half a century. It will eventually die as time goes on and we find more and more answers to the universe people will move away from "God" Its human nature to seek answers and when we cannot find them our mind is inclined to invent other possibilities even those with no scientific merit. It is also human nature to cling to hope in desperate situations thats why people pray to god in the face of impossible odds or pray for a sick loved one Its a desperate grasp of hope, We as humans don't like to be out of control and powerless that is why many of us will pray in the hope that a higher being may hear us. Even Atheists have been known to pray in desperate situations not because they believe in a higher being but because its simply human nature not to accept that they are powerless to do ANYTHING. Al tho these prayers usually are not prayers in the Christian sense. Cant think of anything more for the time being.
