Naa. Automail isn't that bulky. Automail is more like a metal arm. Not a huge metal sleve. And it IS NOT overpowered. First of all, the sword takes HUNDREDS of hours to get. Second of all, if you're level 80 against a level 120, you deserve to get 1hitted. Its a GODsword for crying out loud.

Yes but you forgot the fact that the armor is rarely taken out of the economy, When ever you get pked with rune, theres another guy to pick it up. Or if you quit rs, you probably might sell it/give it. So therefor, there is a MUCH higher number of rune entering the game then leaving. So therefor the price will lower, Same with dragon and 3rd age. How ever for these it will take MUCH more time, but it WILL continue to get cheaper and cheaper and some day dragon will cost 200k for a full set of dragon. However it wont be any different from now, cause it will be this generation's rune. which by then they will introduce loads of better armor, and the next best armor will be equlivant to this age's 3a. But there are always more players comming into the game. The number or rune sets comming into the economy is about equal to the number of players wanting rune sets.

Yah, I've been thinking about that "view the past idea" myself. From distances that far away, with the amount of distortion and bending light goes through from all the gravitational forces it's unlikely that such a tactic as looking back into the past would be feasible. I'd say even trying to look back 30 years would be pushing it, even with the most advanced technology from this or the next century. Ah well, it's a cool little idea nonetheless; it's like an optical illusion :) . Even looking 15 years into the past would be awesome. Imagine what you could do. You could even solve muder crime mysteries.

I remember that those were the three main combat genres and they were trying to balance them, and I think there was something about a triangle then too. That is actually a very interesting topic though. But I have this question: Why would Jagex make yet another useless weapon that nobody will use? Jagex has obviously been spending a lot of time on this dungeon, seeing as we havn't had any quests in over a month (which isn't a bad thing IMO). Why would they ruin it by making another crap weapon that wont be used?
