  1. really the only dangerous rc pkers are ones that tb + entangle. i had one guy the other day who tried to pk me with only a whip. i run up the river, he hits me once, usually a 0, i tele into the abyss. this happened about 10 times, i asked him what it felt like to fail at life, and he left.
  2. see, now i pretty much agree with this, except that in cases of sexual abuse, i think it should be up to the victim(or victim's family) to decide the punishment, but nothing less than life in prison should be accepted. crimes like this are so horrible that anything that can be devised by the human mind is much less punishment than that individual deserves.
  3. i dont know what kind of idealistic world you live in, but in the REAL world, it's been proven over and over that the majority of times, this doesn't work.
  4. the only problem with alternative energy is that it still has to come from somewhere. solar, wind and water are the only "pure" alternative energies, and of the above, none are reliable or abundant enough to provide a sufficent amount of energy. electric, hydrogen, and other so called "alternative energies," are really just the same things as what we use now, just disguised so liberals can plant this idealistic image in the public's head. where do you think electricity comes from? you have to plug electric cars up to a power source, which is most likely a coal-burning power plant. hydrogen is almost nonexistent in its pure form, and takes a huge amount of energy to extract it from water. again, probably from a coal-burning plant. so maybe we can reduce our dependance on oil by this, but it would only increase coal dependance. ive done a lot of research on alternative energy, and i believe the safest, cleanest, and most effective could possibly be nuclear power. the only problem is packaging, because a minor error or mistake could be devastating to an entire country. but, if done right, and safely, nuclear energy makes a massive amount of power with relatively little waste. BUT, nuclear waste poses another problem. basically, any good alternative to the energy we have now is a LONG way and a LOT of money away.
  5. Oh right, considering the past 10 years were the HOTTEST YEARS EVER IN THE WORLD ( by a lot, off the charts type of a lot ) i want to see the chart of earthly temperatures you got that information from, starting from the day of the earth's creation. oh wait, that's impossible.
  6. what's your definition of "qualified" then?
  7. so you believe that unqualified people should get the same rewards as qualified people just because they are minorities? No. I don't. Would you like to know why that's not a slam dunk reason for you being correct? 1) You're still being incredibly racist and ignorant because you refuse to admit that you think everyone benefitting from affirmative action is unqualified 2) If anything, your argument boils down to what percentage of people that benefit from affirmative action are unqualified 3) In that boil-down, you are miserably wrong because an overwhelming most of people that benefit from affirmative action are qualified so if the people benefitting from AA are qualified for other scholarships, why do they need AA-race-based scholarships? also, although i did not state it, i am aware that white women are included in AA, and i stand by my opinion.
  8. i pretty much just stopped being nice to people because every time i do something nice, the person just tries to take advantage of me, begging for more, asking me to "take them" on a quest, and when i politely refuse, they get mad.
  9. welcome to politics  give me evidence that ONE political leader EVER did what he promised to the people while campaigning
  10. so you believe that unqualified people should get the same rewards as qualified people just because they are minorities?
  11. i'm pretty sure i spoke in english, so no translation is necessary. i said exactly what i meant, and in no way implied that black people were incompetent. all i'm trying to say is that scholarships, jobs, etc, should be given to people based only on thier qualifications. anyone can accomplish what they want with enough hard work. AA just allows lowers the standard for certain race groups. if me believing that no one should be given special treatment based on the color of their skin makes me racist, then i'm proud to be racist.
  12. Wrong. There wasn't major global warming back then. They wasn't huge polluting factories and no cars. i think its been established several times that factories and cars are hardly the one cause of global warming, with evidence to back it up. or maybe i just posted without reading the whole topic.
  13. It's all you have? What about your brain? Compete with everyone else mentally by getting better grades and scoring better on standardized tests to get into college and win your spot fairly. That is what the rest of the country and world has to do. Affirmitive action is like playing a basketball game and spotting the other team 10 points before the game even starts. If the team that was spotted the points wins you have to wonder... do you actually consider that a win? If I was black I would hate affirmitive action because I could succeed on my own without it and I would hate everyone second guessing me wondering if I had only gotten in to fill some racial quota. Earning their respect would be much harder because of this. That post you're quoting is from me, and you're wrong because 1) Your argument assumes that the game being played is 0-0 without affirmative action, which is wrong because its more like being tilted 0-40 in favor of whites. 2) You have no idea what it's actually like to be born into situations that many people are born into- this whole "my brain can take me anywhere i want" is stupid motivational sayings that our teachers tried to drill into our brains since we were in diapers 3) If you were black? Shut up. You have no idea what its like to have a different skin color, don't ever think about presuming to know what its like to be nonwhite. I'm not quite sure what makes some of you so presumptuous that you claim to be able to put yourself into other people's shoes, but the only thing many of you are qualified to talk about is the privilege you've received ever since you were born. Adam, I swear I'll get to your post. isnt this post just a little racist? you are putting all white people into the rich/priveliged stereotype. yes, i am white. what does that have to do with anything? i was born into a middle class family. i went through high school disgusted at all the favors teachers did for black people just because they were afraid that if they didnt give them special treatment that they would be considered racist. no i am not racist. i have friends that are black, i have friends that are asian, i have friends that are middle eastern. i think affirmative action is an outdated piece of legislation that has no value in today's society. when i graduated from high school, i applied for college, and i got into one of the best engineering schools in the US based solely on my act scores and gpa/work experience. scholarships, or job opportunities based on the color of your skin, whether white, black, asian, or whatever, is just pure racism. you can't argue that it isnt segregation. its illogical. how is it that scholarships given only to blacks based on nothing but the color of thier skin are "cultural" while if there were a scholarship given only to whites based on the color of thier skin is "racist." disgusting.
  14. i love going to concerts and have peta people come up and down the line asking to sign a petition to shut down kfc or some other nonsense. i always make up a good escuse not to sign the petition. some of my favorites: "sorry, i actually support animal abuse" "I just ate dinner at kfc" "all your propaganda pictures of tortured animals just make me hungy" "you're putting americans out of jobs!" ive got tons more, i love thier responses to these statements.
  15. coincidence? eliminate al gore, and eliminate global warming. well, even if it doesnt eliminate global warming, it would definitely make the world a better place. ill have to agree with barihawk on this one. it's being blown way out of proportion. you know why they didnt care about global warming hundreds of years ago? they didnt have the technology to know it existed.

  21. i havent played many of the newer need for speed games, since the first couple on ps1, they've gone downhill fast. they were original racing games at the beginning, then they just turned into this fast and the furious street tuner wannabe crap.
  22. he's the only democratic candidate that i would even consider voting for.
  23. lol that reminds me of my english class, my professor was obsessed with martial arts, and we had to write 3 papers on a specific martial art. hua to, a chinese surgeon, supposedly used criminals to test his accupuncture and dim-mak techniques. or maybe that was chang san feng.... i dont remember. as far as animals go, i believe that any test that has the potential to benefit humans can be justified. anything other than that, well, let peta deal with them.
  24. well, i'm in a motel right now, because i havent had power at my house since saturday, school hasnt been cancelled one day, some idiot rear-ended me on monday, and i have a ton of huge branches to clean up after all the ice melts. global warming, my [wagon].

i used to race motocross, until i separated my shoulder, and then i had to go to college. i want to start racing again after i get out of school, but until then im pretty much stuck watching races on tv..... stewart chased down and passed carmichael at phoenix this weekend, then led over half the race to his second consecutive victory. this was also ricky carmichael's last full-time race. he joined MB2 racing, and will be running a selected nascar late model, arca, and craftsman truck series races, along with a few other supercrosses.
