  1. Shame they didn't in the last round when Benfica put them out of the cup. As for last night, i was surprised. Right from the first minute Arsenal played the way they should be playing every game, and we were unlucky not to be 3-0 up after 10 minutes. If we play like that in the home leg we'll destroy them.
  2. We've got no chance mate, too many injuries and not enough confidence. Wouldn't surprise me if Henry left at the end of the season regardless of how we do in the champs league.
  3. Someone from Manchester mocking the criminal reputation of anyone is practically the definition of irony.
  4. Being on your Dad's insurance doesn't make the car partly yours. That's like saying because you live in your parents house you are a part owner.
  5. It's like liquid soap, sorry i can't be like a Scotsman and wash my face with the algae covered side of a rock :P
  6. Use this twice a day and you wont need anything else.
  7. I don't mean to try and stir up trouble here, but there seem to be a lot more members of staff against the closing of the topic (and subsequent rules) than for it. Either the people for this rule aren't speaking up, or the opinions of the majority of staff have been overlooked.
  8. I'll be there. Went last year and the year before, so i'm certainly not missing this one.
  9. I've been away so i'm not going to read through 6 pages of arguing but here's my (simple) take on things. I'm 21 years old (22 in less than 2 weeks) - i don't see why i should have to be told where and if i can post a picture of a room in my house. I can understand that some parents might get mad if they thought their kids were posting personal information on a website, but i don't even live with mine! I feel i'm old enough and mature enough to take care of myself, and i really don't think i'd be in any danger if i posted a picture of myself on this, or any other website (with obvious exceptions, but let's just say the websites i frequent on a daily basis). Regardless of the "dangers" involved, i'd be considered an adult in any country in the world, and i feel this should mean i can decide if i want my picture made available in any online domain. Surely people over the age of 18 could post pictures without this site being in any sort of legal trouble? If that's the only concern, why not just put something in the T&C during the sign up process? Sorry if any of this has already been said. Edit: Looking through the thread i've seen some good arguments, and it's good to see some mods agreeing with the user base. I can understand (to a certain extent) why there's been such a clampdown on personal information but i really think it's gone too far. There's a fine line between being cautious about user safety, and completely choking the life out of the community. I posted a picture of my car the other day in which the license plate is visible, should this be deleted? Soem people have their home state in their location - should this be allowed? The way things are going here i can't see myself staying around too long - i've outgrown the game this community is based around, but at least i could, in the past, enjoy myself in the offtopic section.
  10. Edit: Found a crappy cameraphone pic of my car.
  11. Am i missing something? Edit: Apparently i am.
  12. I can't believe the amount of people in this thread that just don't seem to get the point. It's like giving someone a post it note with "please turn over" written on both sides and watching them scratch their head while they spend the next hour hopelessly lost.
  13. Domino - Watched this on Sunday night and i really enjoyed it. The story was fast moving and full of action, plus there's a scene where Kiera Knightly gives a lapdance, need i say more? I'd recommend it to anyone who liked True Romance, or anyone who likes Mickey Rourke (the man is a legend). Best line of the film: "Edna honey, you got about 10 minutes to open that god damn safe, or i'm gonna flush your baby boy's arm down this f***ing toilet". 8/10
  14. Good point. OK Computer is pretty much a piece of pure musical genius. American Idiot is generic pop punk that has been churned out for the past 10 years with little added to it. No comparison as far as i'm concerned.
  15. Knopfler i can agree with, but Cobain wasn't a great guitarist, not even close. He might have been a great songwriter, but i wouldn't call him a great guitarist.
  16. There are probably more jews in Iran than there are in Denmark, but i think that point is completely lost on these people. It's like watching a couple of 6 year olds trade insults in the playground.
  17. 7 posts in and i can already tell you won't be here long.
  18. "They drew cartoons wrongly depicting us as violent murderers, let's burn their buildings to the ground and wish death upon them!"
  19. Yeah good luck with that. This topic won't get to the second page without some idiot saying something about cutting wrists and/or crying.

    #Indie

I think you might have Indie confused with Grunge. I'm not really into Indie too much, but i guess Blur and Oasis would be the top 2 indie bands i've enjoyed over time.
  21. Like i said on page 2, i don't think any mods even bother checking this forum.
  22. That list might as well be "most commercially popular rock albums of all time" as opposed to best. I like Nirvana, but there's no way they deserve to have the top spot. Aside from that, they released 2 albums that are easily better than Nevermind.
  23. Do mods ever bother checking this forum? Seriously...

    Solvent abuse

Truth. Marijuana is not chemically addictive, which means you're just as likely to become addicted to watching a tv show or playing a game (how many people replying to this topic spend hours on RS every day?). Edit: Before anyone jumps down my throat, i'm not saying that watching tv and playing games are as bad for your health as smoking marijuana, i'm merely comparing the adictiveness.
