  1. Yea, it's realy annoying. This elitist culture, atleast they think they're elite and know anything, against rap music. It's quite sad. But you know, when you love music you respect it too, thus you respect rap music as well. But here we're full of those people who think they love music thus they exclude rap from being music. It's realy stupid. Just ban them from this specific forum, like acces to other forums, but no acces to music and movies. I hate rap music, so i stay out of threads that are based around it. If i do post in those threads, i'll at least keep it intelligent and respect what the artists are doing. I've just seen "rap sucks" (or rock sucks, whatever combination) too many times and i'm quickly giving up on this board, posting less and less because you know what kind of response you're going to get before you hit submit. Maybe i'm just too old for this now, i think i'm pretty much outgrowing the mentality of the typical poster here and getting to the point where arguing just isn't worth the effort anymore.

    Sublime

I'd agree with that. While i love the self titled album and 40oz to freedom, some of their other stuff really doesn't appeal to me.
  3. I just think that aside from the "what movie did you last see" topic, this forum is a waste of space. Every thread ends up the same way so it puts me off from posting anywhere to begin with.
  4. Here's a suggestion; how about banning people that have nothing more to contribute than insulting others for their opinions? I don't think i've seen a thread on this board get past 3 pages without degenerating into a slagging match between what seems to be the same group of people in every single thread.
  5. I know exactly what you mean. After i watched it i just sat there with my mouth wide open while the credits rolled past, thinking..... well i can't tell you without evading the censor. It's such a powerful film, i actually felt the pain of every single person shown in the ending sequences - I don't think a film has ever made me feel like that before.

    Sublime

I love Sublime, especially now that the better weather is starting to come around in England. Not much beats a BBQ, nice cold beer and some sublime to chill to.
  7. I'm an Arsenal fan, and i'm really surprised to see Walcott included. I can sort of see Sven's logic - with Owen looking unlikely he needs someone with a bit of pace, and apparently Walcott gives Thierry Henry a run for his money on the Arsenal training ground. Having said that, i think i would have preferred to see Bent or Defoe picked ahead of him, simply because they have some experience at the top level. To whoever said Downing shouldn't be there, who do you think is a better left sided Englishman? I can't think of any...
  8. The scantily clad mincer is right - it's taken the religion thread the best part of 3 months to get even half the replies that you're after. I sympathise with your loss, but i fail to see how getting a bunch of people who didn't know the guy to reply to a thread would make it any easier for you.
  9. One of the best books i've read is The Cage. It's about an English soldier who fought in Vietnam, and was captured by the Vietcong during the Tet offensive. The book is written by the soldier, telling the story of how he was captured, tortured and eventually how he escaped. I'd recommend it to anyone who has an interest in military.
  10. I'd like to think that my memory will live on with my children, and be passed on to future generations. Just because i'm not religious doesn't mean i'm living a pointless life. My reason for living is to be the best that i can be, and ultimately enjoy my life - i don't think believing in god would change that, or make it easier to achieve.
  11. Pretty much ended the thread right there in my opinion.
  12. dragonstorm, either you have the worst camera i've ever seen, or you need to learn how to use the focus feature.

    Rooney?

Someone who uses the letter 'e' in the word 'what' telling someone to get English lessons. The irony is strong with this one.
  14. I don't remember ever being grounded, and i can't see it happening now
  15. Yup, an endless debate over which of 2 things is better, when no one has ever seen or used one of the products. Great.
  16. Likewise - nothing we can say will make it any better but for what it's worth, best wishes to the family.
  17. I'll be in London tomorrow and Sunday, so i'll have to look out for a scantily clad scouser mincing about. Good luck.
  18. If/when they tour i'll definitely be after a ticket.

  20. That's JerryC, he's the kid that did the original arrangement. Search for him on goggle videos and you'll find a lot of his stuff.

  22. He got shot for trying to act like a hardass, no sympathy from me.
  23. Yeah, and every time i bend over a ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã50 note drops out of my arse - it can't be explained, it just happens.
