Just a small note - Washburn guitars are actually pretty decent, especially the acoustics. The thing with buying a basic guitar is that it's never going to be good. You can adjust and alter whatever you like, but it doesn't change the fact that you bought a POS to begin with. If you want to get the most out of your guitar, take it to a shop for a professional setup. Aside from that, there's not a lot you can do if you're not willing to shell out the extra cash for a better model.

At 17 you don't need the responsibility of looking after a child, let alone 2 children that aren't even yours. I don't think i own any brand name clothes. The only ones i can think of are my snowboarding coat (Burton), and a couple of t shirts (porn star). Most of the stuff i wear is just random jeans or t shirts that i like, i don't go out of my way to buy stuff with a label. Shoes are the exception though, i usually get Vans or DC's because i find them comfortable and hard-wearing.
