  1. How very polite :D Are they for signitures? There is... *dum dum dum* The Gallery; http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=16 Have a good stay at Tip.it
  2. Here here. I think 82 Runecrafting beats both 99 Cooking & Fletching. I see getting those to skills up to 99 as an embarrassment (unless you got the materials yourself). I would actually be ashamed to wear one of those skills capes.. The amount of level 90 somethings I've seen with a 1300 total and 99 Cooking/Fletching.. Damn skill cape chasers..
  3. ...Learned? Is that actually right? For some reason that sounds so dodgy when I say it out loud.. Isn't it learnt? :-s Gah.. If learned really is right then it's gonna be one of those days.. Anyway, I learnt/learned that I love Barrows, and Barrows loves me. I got Torag Hammers (junk) on my second drop, and on my 7th I got Veracs Helm. I did one run after that and got the usual items, but hey, 2 Barrows items out of 8 runs..! :
  4. They're called Alt Codes, and were mentioned in the 'Hidden Updates' thread. I don't think there's much of a discussion to be had from them, but here's a list of the Alt Codes you can use; http://www.tedmontgomery.com/tutorial/ALTchrc.html And by the way, alt codes can be used on laptops too.
  5. ^^ Really wondering what that is... I need quick cash!! Stands for Education Maintanace Allowence, if your family earns below a certain level per annum then you're entitled to up to ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã30 ($60) per week if you keep your attendance up to 100%. I hate EMA, I was meant to get it, but because the government are so stupidly bureaucratic they wanted forms which my family simply didn't have and wouldn't get until it was to late to start getting the damn thing. I can see how you'd be annoyed, but it's not that bad to be honest. ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã2k is more than I've ever had and I started working by doing a few hours a week cleaning (other people's houses) with my mum when I was 13..
  6. It's got to be almost any pasta dish, possibly spaghetti carbonara. =P~ Although recently for some reason I've had a strong craving for shellfish.. *sees some prawns.. gobble gobble*
  7. Ernest the Chicken for F2p. And apparently Mournings End Part II is the hardest for members, which happens to beone of the last quest I have to do before I complete them all. Any help with a Death Talisman will be much appreciated! :D
  8. Makes the game more interesting if the developers have a silly (and sometimes strange, but in a good way) side. : I'd rather shudder at a dodgy joke than be bored to death by Jagex trying to hard to keep all the dialogue serious.
  9. It's nice to see some of the Tip.it 'heavyweights' posting on this topic. : Anyway, this is just the way things go. Runescape is expanding faster than it has ever do so before. More and more players are making accounts each day, and with that comes stupidity with the majority. Runescape and Tip.it's communities are a good likeness to the way society in generaly is changing today, eh? It happens with everything, Runescape and it's community used to be so good because it was small, not so well-known, and everybody knew eachother. Now it seems everyone knows Zezima, and that's it. No, it wont get better. Jagex are letting the morons suckle on Runescape, it will slowly degrade and rot away, becoming remembered only for the pool of idiots that festered in Runescape's waters at the end. :| *takes a break from my last 3 quests to go and visits Lummbridge swamps..*
  10. HYT

Just because I don't recognise the person it doesn't mean I'll ignore them.
  11. I too think the monkey in charge of the censor at Jagex is a comeplete muppet. I really hate how just because the majority of players are unfortunatly American, Jagex feel they must make sure not to tread on eggshells in that backwards country. The word 'Damn' is seen nowhere near as strongly here in England as it is in the States, and if for whatever reason I want to vent my frustration with that word then I should be able to. For flips sake, the word 'Sex' is censored!! How in almighty hell is that?! Yes, we all know how it can be misused, but what is the point in putting an age 13+ restriction on the game? Oh no! You're not allowed to mention one of the most basic functions of a human! The best option in my mind would be to either raise Runescape to 16+/18+ and have no censor strictly (for instance you need to have a debit/credit card number in order to play, and yes I know kids can steal their parents cards), or to simply let each player deciede if they want to have a filter! They could quite easily make it so that every new account has the box [Filter strong language[x]] checked at the begining, and then leave it up to each player whether they want to uncheck it.
  12. Because I was level 100 Combat with a 1200 something total, and thought it was time to move on. Training anything in F2p is twice as hard as it is in members, so I guess I'll always hold F2p in my heart. I'm glad I'm not F2p now anyway, so many macroers it is literally impossible to cut Yew Logs if you're an honest player. -.-
  13. Where is it exactly? :-s
  14. Look, Tintin, I'm hoping you are just not a regular on the forums, and not lacking something. Common sense would say that it's kind of pointless to post saying that you didn't know something, or thanking someone for posting. Seriously, please consider it resaonably, as sad as it is to hear; no one cares if someone else knew one of these secrets. Imagine if everyone just posted saying 'Oh, I didn't know that!' - this thread would become 80% spam, and 20% interesting secrets. Just because it's your own thread it doesn't mean you should make every third post one of your own replies. It's not interesting for other people to read. I don't mean to be mean to you personally, but you should take a hint when a mod actually has to come and clean your own replies from your thread. It doesn't mean you have to become boring, just have some common sense and consideration for other people who read the thread.
  15. Yup. All those autoers constantly hacking away at trees.. We all thought they were just after the logs!! All that hacking must have caused some kind of temporal malfunction, and now the autoers have hacked so much that they are now in Runescape's coding! Run for the hills!! (no I am not joking.)
  16. To me; Anyone calling another player a noob = a noob. If you must resort to calling them names from a level which they understand then you're not exactly any better, eh? I don't use the word noob, it's amazingly sad and I can't help but associate it with 12 year olds playing Runescape with the mental capacity of a medium sized rock. Where do these players come from? They're just born stupid, and most likely see Runescape advertised by a website/friends (ie. other rocks)
  17. A topic needs substance in order to be discussed, there's no point making one in the discussion forums if it can be all said from a single person's reply. I know that I hate almost every thread which would have typically single line replies though, pointless in my mind. The topic starter also needs to provide enough information in the first post for there to be a discussion, and if it's the kind of thread that gets updated, then of course it's always nice if the topic starter is the kind of person that knows how to edit posts and use BBCode. If you want good thread examples then check out the Off-Topic board.
  18. Use the Help & Advice forum for questions next time. I suggest you just train Slayer and the combat Xp will come with it as well as the Slayer Xp (not to mention some decent Slayer drops at later levels).
  19. You're clearly crazy if you're not using a Gilded Altar. I suggest you se a quack.
  20. I've always played with mine on.. For whatever reason, I don't get bugged by small Runescape playing children that often, maybe 1 or 2 random pm's a day.
  21. Yes it will be harder for everyone, but especially hard for stupid pures because of the tiny defense levels they usually have, they'll be getting attacked a hell of a lot more. Hotkeys (aside from the ecsp-inventory key) have been a waste of time as far as I'm concerned.
  22. Yes, it is a real youtube link. It'll take you to where it says it'll go. Well done killing the Dragon, but oh god.. -.- The crap kids listen to these days.. Metal junk.. :uhh:
  23. I remember seeing 'Flange Flaps' back when I was F2p training in the Hill Giants cave :
  24. I've been so busy trying to finish all the quests (16 left!) that I haven't made money for a quite a while.. Typically I seem to just make my money through luck, Nature runes in the Abyss or Air runes using the altar (good seeing as I make 7 per Essence). It does sadden me that I've seen 5 Nature rune bots in the last 2 days..
  25. Haha, then don't do the quest. -.-
