good to hear 48-40 dungeoneering was a scary sight indeed, more than halved my dungeon xp I'll take this chance to ask, what's the secret to levelling that fast? Do you reset your prestige or what? Details if you can :) I really don't see what's so hard with the prestige: only reset it once all the levels you can access have been completed. That means they have a tick next to them. Then, once you do reset (if no new levels have been unlocked by you cashing in your tokens for exp, if that's what you desire), you start from level 1 again. Do level 1 first, because each level you complete gradually raises your prestige, thus you gain more exp faster. Levelling fast as far as i know: soloing complexity 6 is fastest. Open the bonus rooms, go in and out directly unless you need food. Don't kill unless you need food: you shouldn't be doing any skilling in any of the dungeons if you have a weapon and arrows bound. If possible, bind a promethean spear (for crush / slash / stab attacks). Once you start a level, be sure to buy a hammer, a pickaxe, an axe and tinderbox. these are easy to drop later on, but usually at least 2 of them are required for the completion of a level. use your prayer wisely, remember each level always has the same boss (as far as i know) and some bosses will disable your prayers anyway. Use the map liberally (while running) to see where you have rooms you haven't been in yet, to move efficiently around. anyone have better / other advice? Thanks, very helpful. Hmm, okay, maybe at todays prices overloads aren't economic.I payed only 50k for my overloads and got 99 this way and ended up with 3.6k overloads. So for me, and some lucky others, they are actually free :D.

Overloads 300k an hour to use, wtf! Are you guys forgetting the 2.2k herblore xp you get while making them? That's worth at least 60k. As I see it, overloads are a by product of my herblore training. I have probably more than I will ever use, so I consider them practicly free.

so you can bind items to you, but that only means you can use them in the next dungeoneering map, not outside the dungeoneering skill, right? I guess this will explain why the xp rates are so low at the beginning. After a while you will have full primal and you will do these dungeons easily.

Corp is weak to stab, not crush. The Rapier are and longsword might be usefull, but what interests me the most are actually the new ammy with a 15% mage boost, the antipoison totem, the updated magic longbow (140 range attack now!) and the +13 ranged gloves, the bonecrusher and the farming thing. Those are all non degradeable, and the best in their kind. Really curious how magic longbow (damn, just realised its the longbow and not the shortbow :() with rune arrows will compare to rune cbow with addy bolts or something.

I would advise to make spec restores. I think they are around 30 gp/xp too (maybe even less) and that's when you value your end product as ZERO gp. However, I end up using my spec restores very often (claw specs mostly) so you might want to look into them. If you make 2k, you will use them all in the end, so they won't be worthless.

70m short of decent gear? Whip, rune defener, dragon boots and of course the slayer helmet are the only essentials. You can wear welfare gear in nearly all the other spots without compromising a lot on speed. (full bandos + fury + fire cape + zerker is not that much better than rune/barrow/dragon/granite legs/plate, glory, SW cape and warrior ring). Knowing this, you can get very decent slayer gear for under 10m. Bandos and DFS are far overrated. You are 300m short from the real slaying though (turmoil, soul split and extremes); but that is not an issue of gear.

Well put. I have an SGS and I either use it either out of easyness (At Nechs, dust devils with spec restores so I won't need food and don't need to bother with prayer flashing. I could bring claws but I dont like the fact I can't spec twice on one dustie, so it involves more clicking) or at things where it just shines such as Dks and Tds. When reading the OP, I was thinking about maybe selling it, but then I realised: What am I going to use at Tds and dks? Or those stupid bandos teams that require a GS? The "interest" part is interesting (lol?) but it doesn't apply to me since I have 100s of uninvested millions anyway, again out of lazyness.

Gertjaars, however, hasn't even started fishing, agility, hunter and mining, has only made very little progress in runecrafting and still needs over 3/4 slayer xp. Those are all very slow skills, with which he definitely won't be able to continue in his current phase. The same goes for Zarfot, yes, he has already maxed some of the most expensive skills, but we all know how "easy" some people make money. It's the slow skills that count. In fact, none of the maxed players are very high on either the agility or mining highscore, which leads me to believe we have to wait a long time, before anyone will "max out". This is why I tihnk S U O M I will devastate these hiscores when his total lvl reflects his xp. He's doing the long hard stuff first and dominating it. He has only 91 slayer and 84 runecrafting though.

I learned this from the smithing video someone posted. Figured it should work with prayer as well. However, I always end up pressing "take bob" too late, and then it doesn't work anymore.

It used to make it load faster. Not sure now, since they updated it. My house used to take 15 seconds to load, now maybe 4 since the update (of Jagex, not my house)

I find that highly unlikely....what's your kills per hour? Extremes and turmoil seem to max out at like 100-120 per hour Wtf, I was on task, using overloads and I got maybe 60 kills an hour. I can understand in a busier world and turmoiling Sup you might get 80, but 100-120?! 100-120 per 2 hours, not 1 hour. 2 hours = shortest trip (minimum) Hmm okay. Just FYI, hybridding Rex and Supreme (tanking sup) is probably 60-70 kills/h if you get good at it. Look at my topc in help and advice. Not sure whether Prime < Supreme though. (Sup has got archer, but Prime has got it's tallies)

Hybridding is more kills/h than solo maging and you shouldn't underestimate the profit of the talismans from prime. Last task I got more profit from tallies, than special drops (got one d axe drop). Artemis says he gets 4m/h hybridding, and he has a vid, but I can't find it.

I know cannoning is best, I just personally didn't do it on some tasks because I was already 99 ranged, and preferred to get some more melee xp per task + more charms (in the case of Dags, allthough I'm doing DK's now).

That's pretty cool. I just got 138 combat and I'm interested to improve in these kind of things. I hope my quick slayer switch from whip to claws at slayer will help me a bit :D. At least I'm used to the hotkeys now.

Seems about right. With that outfit you suggested (v skirt etc), I would use at least 10% str. You will have a nice prayer bonus, and the drain rate is slow in any case. Make sure to use Kuradal, because the ring really gives a nice boost in the dungeon, especially if you are lower lvled. Summoningwise, not too much will change untill you can use geysers and iron titans respectively. Like others have said, bunyips mostly do the job. Personally I dont use a bunyip, but that's because of soul split and turmoil, which are sadly out of your reach. Extremes also seem out of your reach, so I'd say, just keep going. Once you gett 90 90 90 I'd consider doing some boss hunting to fund 95 prayer though (or 85+ herblore, which can also be free by the way by herb cleaning with mousekeys). It will make your slaying much more efficiently, so you better get it ASAP. So yeah, just keep going. Not that long ago (1-2 years, hm that is long actually lol), I had the same stats. EDIT: on cannnoing: I personally don't cannon very often. The only tasks I cannon are Bloodvelds: It speeds them up this much that it's just too good to let go. On top of that, it's pretty long task, so it's basicly just one huge chunk of xp you get. A while ago, I had 2 bloodvelds and one dark beasts task (velds, beast velds). I got over 150k slayer xp that day, and I only spent around 3 hours online. Abberants: You still profit quite a lot, so why not. It also makes a bad xp task decent xp. (slay xp/h) I recently added cannoning black dragons in the evil Chicken lair: This is mainly because I have a pack yak and can do the task in 2 trips, banking all hides and bones, and still profiting this way. + it's again far superior from non cannoning. I dont cannon dags, because I liked to kill them in the CT with my iron titan, and getting a lot of crimsons. Now I'm 99 summoning but I found a more fun way to do the task: DKs. So i'm still not cannoning dags;

I haven't trid it, but I would guess it's a bit slower due to range being slower than melee. Also, when you somehow can't kill Supreme in time, and you are still killing Rex, it's easy to quickly finish him off, most of the times (just stand towards the ladder). Not sure if you get Rex on you while ranging prime. It all sounds pretty good in theory though. You wil also be able to soul split a bit on Rex when Prime is dead, but you should also watch out of course when Prime is respawning. That's what I liked about Supreme Rex combo, you are NEVER worrying about Prime, so Ko's are hard. This way you can feel safe to try higher populated worlds. Rex spawns while killing Supreme? Like I said, mostly no problem.

Do you keep your runes and other drops from previous trips? If not, I dont get how you can do so many chests in that set up (straight mleeing everything it seems?)
