Im building my house, and....
Well I am not going to draw you one but the basic idea: The house is a 5 x 3. The centerpiece is the portal. On each side of this I have a portal room. On the other sides I have a formal garden + dungeon entrance and the menagery. (bassicly the summon obelisk is right next to the portal. On the side of the formal garden I have 2 study's meaning I can make all tablets. The throne room and in the corners a small room with some chairs and the costume room. On the side of the menagery --> Chapel with guilded altar / A quest hall with glory A workshop and kitchen ofcourse. They are critical. And I believe I have a dinner room there to. Great if you ever need some food, tough mostly used for the bell and the fact that I think a house requires it. Above the quest hall I have a skill hall + 2 bedrooms, all upstairs ;) I have a secundairy skill hall near my costume room (ground floor) with a KBD head. The dungeon is pretty much combat based. Balance beam / Combat ring / chapel (always have a cheap chapel in the dungeon) and an oubliette. 3 entrance points. 1 in Dungeon entrance, 1 from oubliette and the ohterfrom the quest hall. Also some corridors.

homowz living rocks cavern guide
They managed to fry me tough.. Especially in a laggy environment like W84 they can get you a few lucky hits. But I do agree on the fact that rune should suffice. In W84 it doesn't really matter that much. In other worlds it doesn't really matter either. If you can get hit 10-12 times then yes, you will take damage. Anything less then rune and you will take damage. It is all about not getting hit. If you want to use barrows in solo worlds that is fine. But if you don't prevent getting hit, that barrows isn't going to help you in the end. An Enhanced Excalibur to take with you is always nice, in case you do get 1-2 hits on you. In W84, nothing matters. Also: a nice set-up ALWAYS takes in account varrock armour 1/2/3. Never invest in a rune plate / barrows chest. It isn't worth it. Oh and realize: Barrows repairs are dirt cheap. Repair them in your PoH and save yet another 33%. Also you are hardly in combat.. I'd be suprised if it costs more then 5k per hour. (1-2 barrows items, more is overkill due to chest/weapons) What is 5k / h.. really. 2.5% of your earnings?

Priorities for buyables
If you are aiming for durable slaying: Your first priority would be either Extremes/Super antifires and/or 95 prayer! Herblore: These enable quicker tasks, easier time on dragons (all metal + black dragons) Also on every task, combined with the berserker curse, extremes are an absolute win. Unlock curses + 71 prayer minimal. 80 prayer doesn't really add much, if you are aiming for something aim higher. If you have the money (even after the herblore) A minimal of 71 prayer is a must. But if you have the cash for only prayer or only for herblore. Aim for 71 prayer with curses and extremes. Otherwise, definitly 95 prayer with extremes _____________ Secondairy to all is the bandos / 99 range / claws. Bandos is highly overrated (is is marginally best but costs millions upon millions extra) and claws aren't THAT useful. A single spec in a case where Enhanced Excalibur / GS' does the job just as well or better. A DFS is overrated and generaly useful. Especially if you managed to unlock super antifires. 99 range is (in my opinion) a waste as 99% of the slayer tasks can and should be meleed. ____________ So short: 71 prayer + Extremes 95 prayer + Overloads Claws 99 ranged Bandos / DFS / ...

New Pures
In F2P it does work. But mostly against other rangers. Ofcourse mages own you hard all of the sudden. The maple long sighted is pretty accurate and great for sniping. But against a normal melee full rune, you will still have a hard time and perhaps lose.

Pickpocketing Dwarf-traders
Tried using the Ardougne cape (hard / elite) with the gloves of silence? Also try and get a 2/3/4 x 100 sample on the succes rate. Really curious about larger numbers. Also, after a while, can we assume the bars / ores you get from thieving is more then sufficient to bribe the guards?

Mining Iron @ Monastery
Well the rock formation isn't ideal there. Using pack-yack would be decent experience more so then a mining familiar I think. After level 50 mining or so you 1-hit iron anyway, so there isn't any benefit from having +mining levels. Use glory's tough if you have them. Wearing one increases gems and the teleport is free. Don't forget varrock armour ;)

Herblore Questions
Well, the prayers are better in my opinion, if you can reach 95 prayer with the cash. For herblore determine the amount of experience required an multiply this by approximately 22-25gp per experience. This gives a good suggestion on how expensive it can be. If you are very quick with cleaning herbs on the other hand ;) that will make you some good money. Mousekeys required tough.

Zamorak spear VS LBS+Defender
The anchor is complete rubish. T hammers are a semi-decent alternative. A Zamorakian spear / SS are the top items there. Just lend them. They aren't to expensive to lend and if you do the Familirazation D&d then it is 200% worth the cost! Charms are priceless in a way.

Quick farming question
Well, as for the wergali hype, I never was a fan of those. At the start they were 50k ea or so, now they are 20k-25k. Almost not worth it anymore I'd personally say finish up a few more seeds till the hype really slows down. Sell regularly. I'd say 4 weeks of seeds you should keep, sell the rest now they are still worth something. I think werg's are necked by then. Ofcourse I am not a master-merchant, so if anyone with more junk-market insight could give his/her predictions on the wergali hype. Also, if you want: Get the scroll of life from dungeoneering (10k tokens), these give you quite a significant extra profit over time when you use more expensive seeds like ranarr / snaps / torstol. If you need a chart of profits, one can be found here (tough perhaps update required, it doesn't factor in 10% seedreturn from scroll of life, which favors expensive seeds) http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Farming_herbs Wergali are at the complete top here.

Retirement fund
Hey there guys, The last few months I've been enjoying Runescape quite a bit but lately my RSI (Carpel Tunnel) complaints started coming. Due to this, I can no longer continue to play the game, risking permanent damage /complaints. Tough I do plan to get back once or so (like I always do), I was looking for something to do with me fair cash stack. Currently I am at aprox. 45-47m in cash. Not enough for a rare, I am not exactly rich. With inflation and future updates in mind, what do you suggest me to put my money into. Is there a product that is ''inflation-proof?'' Would ores / herbs / bones (or anything) be worth investing into? I am personally thinking lunar runes at the moment due to the upcoming update later this year to the lunar spellbook, but this is kind of a longshot. So please :D Give me ideas for a long period ''safe'' inflation-proof investment.

What do F2Pers actually deserve?
In my honoust opinion, give them Nomad. But not the tools to kill them  :ohnoes: Perhaps just give them a challenge they just can't solve without becoming member. 1-0 for all members <3 I'm evil..

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
Why the hell does everybody post: Nachalo ... [your post] ? Ontopic: Removing rares just isn't an option anymore. A great way to remove experienced players from the game tough! They have become to much part of the economy. If they ever wanted to remove the rares, they should have done prior to the GE. Now they are part, integrated in common day economies. Their worth is just to much. Cash them in and you get hyperinflation. Remove them, lose a large player-base and create an extremely unstable market which will just push towards new ''rares''. Jagex has fixed the whole mint-cake thing and slowly the Wergali (unf) is decreasing. As I see it now, the market is quite stable. Rares are for the rich ones. Everyone else can spend their money on different things. No problem at all.

Journey Revealed!
Whatever you do, don't get Ritalin. The stuff is like kamikaze to your body/mind. Especially if you are quite the thinker. Congratulations on your Moderator-ship (is that a word?) and I'm sure you'll do fine. I have an unfinished guide if you want to start somewhere ;) (Tower of Life) As for future blogs, drop the subject on the healthcare bill (lots of Europian people here who.. don't really care and the subject is old already). The 2nd question is really a topic you should dedicate a blog to! Pretty curious on your vision to this subject. Have fun writing / modding / doing ya thing

Zamorakian Spear
If you have the herblore level for Superantifire potions --> automatic Yes If you do corping --> Automatic Yes If you do waterfiend camping --> Ofcourse As for slayer, a useful one :) Waterfiends are a common task at higher levels. But if you aren't one of that. Better spend your geepees someone else!

Runescape Types
Either the cool player, but most likely the depressed one ;) I .. tend to know things. People can't stand that for some reason tough. (small rant upcoming). The other day a person actually ASKED me for advice. I then gave them the advice they wanted. He then managed to ''correct'' me. I made a flaw in the advice I gave him. The subject: Guys ;) Red Pet Squirrels are now optional.. as light brown is the same as red. And they can be caught. Notice my bad grammar, 'the fact' that I am completely hot and ''totally smart''.. I can find myself in a combination of both. *strolls away depressed..*

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Well .. next month is somewhere at the end of the year. Tomorrow is in 3 days and hopefully this week... ;) By their standards.. they lasted aproximately 5 months. Anyway, A record in itself!

Your math is completely off! That is 75000127 / 200000000 to be exact! Kudo's to your determination!

Have you thought about this?
I've played WoW.. Much more mature in my opinion, easily regulated as many serious clans require 16+ / 18+ to even enter them. (quite often checked by voice / facebook, you know what). It is much easier to avoid the few children around there. Also much of the game goes around times not suitable for kids :) Anyways, I don't have the time for such a game. I am currently looking for some other game, but haven't come across one that can be played casually and works properly on my oh so slow laptop! As for the kids in Runescape.. 90% of the time I have public chat on hide and the few annoying people in my CC end up on my ignore list. I get them kids out of my way :)

cannon + bone crusher
That's some darn expensive prayer experience your getting there. Spend those cannonballs on D bones rather ;) The bonecrusher is fun.. but in a way worthless. Other then that, find a place with multi combat Giants. But your better of just training slayer. (and just don't use bonecrusher for dragon bones)

Chaotic is better than Divine/Elysian
I agree. Comparing a chaotic kiteshield to a divine/elysian spirit shield is like comparing a dragonfire shield to a dragon square shield in the difference of defence bonuses. Those extra stats do prevent some hits. But as said earlier, the added defense doesn't stack in a straight line and has little effect. Let's say you have 250 defense points. With 25 extra stats, that is 10% better. But because the effect decreases on higher levels of defense, you can easily say.. 5% effect? Tops? Then take this into account and ''add'' it to the %-effect of the chaotic and you are still short. The spirit shields remain the top if you have the money to buy one. Chaotic shields are a great 2nd place in my opinion. As for the cost discussion: Chaotic shields cost! money over time and time. (recharging tokens) Having a spirit shield (divine / ely.. w/e) has an opportunity cost (having to spend 500m-1b means you can't use this money somewhere else) aka reserved Having a spirit shield brings risk. Streetprices may drop dramatic, but often for merchanters isn't a problem. Junk has it's uses to them. Chaotic shields are 'stable' as in no price and thus no risk. To me personally, this discussion is starting to look like a comparison between apples and pears. Ofcourse, they are both fruits.. but can you compare them?! On the one side we have a shield that is obtainable for.. almost anyone. 80 dungeoneering and you've got one (basically) On the other side we have one of the most expensive items in terms of GE value, in terms of getting one (corping isn't without risk/cost) and a streetvalue that is beyond comprehensible. Lose 1, you lose a lot of time. Lose the other.. your losing a 1b gp item. One is valued more in time, the other more in GP. It is hard to compare these. But for all those who want to discuss. If you ever get the choice wonder yourself this: ''Is it realistic that I will get 80 dungeoneering or is it realistic that I can afford the other?'' ;) Use that one

Runescape: Back to basics
Huge edit: my timing was very bad. There seems to be another topic around that goes around a new ''game'' on a blanco server. So uhm.. ye just bad timing. Feel free to remove this thread if you feel necessary mods. As many of you once thought, what would it be like if I was there at the start? Or.. what if the start was now. Over the past years the game has developed quite a bit. A lot was added, in a good way or a bad way. The way we train nowadays is nothing like when we started. Heck, it was nothing like 2 years ago! Let alone Runescape Classic or during the RS2 Beta. One thing was always important when doing an update: 'Does it work with the existing content?' When Jagex releases a new way to train a skill, it is either more profitable, more enjoyable or simply faster. But all this is compared to what already exists. Now what would happen if we all started over. That creates room for a lot of things if you ask me! First off, nobody was set back. Nobody would enter the game thinking.. ah heck that 130 there has had plenty of years already. I will never catch up to him. We all had a chance to start the game at the same time. Training at your own pace and growing together. Heck, It is something I would sure like. A whole new economy that will form. €10,- bucks that prices won't turn out to be the same. But more important, something that I would love to discuss. Room for rebalancing, room for removal! O yes, I said it. Time to remove certain aspects of the game. That small 10 minute quest.. remove it. That monster over there that nobody even bothers to take a glance at, remove it. Perhaps remove godswords? Make the King Black dragon a fierce opponent, but perhaps remove the Chaos Elemental or Tormented Demons. Different drop rates? But what about ivy's? Should they be there? Or to think of a minigame like trouble-brewing. Rebalance the rewards? Delete the game from existence? Reposition it. Perhaps re-do entire skills? Jagex dislikes to change existing material. Perhaps now is the time to lower the level to make saramodin brews, but up the level for prayer potions? Watermelons now a level 70 allotment? Rocktails healing only 20, sharks healing only 16? You can rebalance every single skill you want out there, with the knowledge that you already tried it once. You got experience, now change it around a little? As above said, there can be a lot of changes. How could we implement this? A side-game optional to some. Just like RS classic was optional to RS2. Having to reach a certain quest number or total level / experience level in order to be allowed to the new game? (this way eliminating certain amounts of botting / RWT) If you've read this whole babbling, perhaps try to answer/discuss the following: !) If the game started over, would you be interested to join in such a game? !!) What are things you would love to see deleted from the game. (taking into account popularity / balance) !!!) Would you love the new rebalanced game not to have any knowledge base: meaning players were to get their own info as they go. Or try to ask you these questions !) What requirement if any at all would you set to be allowed to play this new game? !!) Do you think the new version (with its requirement) could become a version without trade limits or GE? Heck I can think of many more aspects towards this subject. It is a pretty large subject. Please stay on topic that we are talking about a 'NEW' game, so no blabbering about how you want to change certain things in the game as it is. Think of it as a complete starting over. Meaning ;) no rares.. all stats back to 1.. No geepees in the economy. And perhaps even a lot of changes.
