  1. Any rare item drop is luck imo. Even if they grind to kill a monster, in the end its still luck to get a rare drop, whereas they can be making money in a non luck based way with guaranteed drops off certain monsters such as dragon bones/hides or real common drops that have some value, or by grinding another skill by cutting yews or mining coal or fishing lobs.
  2. Everyone is so far off Sailing won't be a new skill for rs, it'll be the whole idea behind mechscape. Sure, ms will be in the future but a future full of boats and water.
  3. Aquanites Steel Dragons Scarabites Kalphites Waterfiends (questionable based on stats) All these tasks are pretty much slow and nonprofitable unless you get lucky with a drop. Waterfiends are almost impossible if you don't have high level armor and even higher stats.
  4. Bad Luck I've gotten the slayer specific drop from the past two slayer monsters I've had (gargoyles and infernal mages)
  5. I started playing in late 2001. I missed the p hat drop though as I was at my grandmas for christmas and they didn't have a computer back then, much less internet.
  6. I managed to get a rune square and ruby amulet back in 2002. I've gotten other drops, but really, none can beat that, not even from a value stand point, but from the sheer awe of it.
  7. I organized my bank the hard way back in rsc (taking out all of specific items and redepositing) and really haven't done much since other than add in new additions to the skill to that general area slot. I have all items clumped together like my herbs, my armor, my potions, my food, ores, bars, and at the bottom is items I have 1 of or are random items from quests I dont want to toss, or that are useful in some way. I don't use tabs, really don't need to, my banks been the same since 2004.
  8. EDIT- just some updating overall- 80.33 I tested some things out as well, and my average minus the three newest skills (which are some of my lowest yes, but I haven't played much since they were released to be fair) is 82.28 My pre-RS2 skills average to 83.22
  9. Buy and burn magic logs Maples are probably the most cost effective way to train fm though.
  10. True. I've never gotten a barrows armor/weapon and I've gone close to 100 trips. IMO barrows is hardly worth it anymore, back in the day any items was millions, now only a few are worth more than an average slayer monster drop.
  11. When I sell them, I usually look at the GE stats and sell at min/max based on whether they are rising or falling
  12. Whips are going to go down, but not crash. They'll probably stabilize 100-200k below what they are now, if that. The bh/pvp update caused lots of higher level items to [bleep]e, then fall to slightly above the previous price. Except for dfull, but that's more because they're dropped by mith dragons.
  13. Cactus are more to help earn back some of the cost, not necessarily for xp. So, it's up to you. Calquats are like 12k xp, so I'd say yes.
  14. For whatever reason, the seeds must be easier to get than the herbs. I've had little trouble buying the seeds, but the herbs are nearly impossible to buy. From what I could tell, only the seeds are dropped. Kinda like with snapdragon or toadflax.
  15. "Hey, look, the game is all glitched up! I know I'll lend out and/or sell my most expensive items! It will surely work out for the best"
  16. I've seen plenty of level 3's mine rune in the wilderness. I mean, before rev's, lvl 3 had no one who could pk them there as level 40's didn't risk going up to pk rune miners because they'd probably just end up getting owned by the majority of other rune miners or rune miner pkers. With revs though, much more likely for you to be attacked. Also, in just getting there there's lots of aggressive monsters that could hurt you pretty bad. If you wore full iron though, with an almost full inv of food, you could probably make it up and back alive, but probably not be able to mine as much rune per trip because having more food on the return trip would be more important for you compared to someone higher combat level.
  17. This seems about right, but if you do slayer, you'll also get about 2-2.5 million slayer xp as well. From your current level that might get you to 85, probably 83 for sure.
  18. If you got to world 60 and join the penguin w60 cc, they help spot both penguins and now polar bears. Just for future reference
  19. Hmm... That's like 100k str xp a day, I'd say it's doable if you skip the real slow tasks.
  20. Whip for def obviously Sara sword is best for str xp, but I went cheap and used d scim + defender (or obby shield for when I needed more def)
  21. I do all my black dragon tasks at off peak hours so I'm alone, or at least have my own dragon. If you can't play at off hours, just do baby blacks to get it out of the way. It's nice to make a run to KBD once in a while while on a task for the slayer helm/black mask bonus, but really not worth it to do the whole task at KBD. KBD isn't what it used to be. Visages and heads are the only reason people really still go there.
  22. He's a little east of where Larry was
  23. I don't think the merch clans have a valid point. Sure, the GE works that way, but the real life market does too in a generalized short term only way, and that caused a lot of problems so now that type of activity is illegal. I don't see how on RS it should be any different.
  24. I used the dds and a halberd to kill the mole, that way I don't need prayer pots

    Agility

I got from 52 to 70 at wildy mostly. I tried Ape Atoll, I guess it's ok, but I still like wildy better. I got 70 to 71(almost 72 now) agility from circus :P Definitely worth it to do circus every week Wilderness course is my favorite though I've heard dorgeshuun is better, but I've never been there and I think you need 70 agility and range to even get in :\
