It's a bit stupid to say they are outdated seeing as at any one time there is only ONE graphics card that isn't. Perhaps it just fitted his budget...

They don't hate the music at all. They don't hate any of the fans for liking the music either. They hate the 'scene' and poser attitude of the fans. How they all try and look the same (yes I know that's true for everyone, but not everyone tries to look that extreme) and how they think that everyone else is a poser and only they aren't.

You missed my point. I asked why you think you need the latest versions over version 7 - they contain only minimal upgrades; to be honest I'd be happy using 7 right now.

Case: it depends what you want. Do you want an aluminium one which is lighter? Do you want lots of room for expansion? Sound card: do you really need one? Most motherboards come with at least onboard 5.1 sound. With the speakers that you have mentioned they are more likely to be the limiting factor. The monitor: you'll be able to use your old monitor. That older monitor will have a 15-pin (I think it is, I haven't checked) VGA connector but the new graphics card will have a DVI connector - almost all cards come with a DVI-VGA adaptor and if it doesn't they're easy to find. I'm currently using a card which has dual DVI output and 2 adaptors to 2 VGA connector monitors.

Try pressing alt+printscreen and see if that takes a capture of the current window. If it does, and just printscreen on its own doesn't work then its a problem that I've had and I want a solution to as well.

You know that in general getting one of these premade PCs is more expensive than getting your own parts.
