25-Aug-10 Conquest
As melee void is the same as bandos, neit and dark gloves, the loss of defense would be substantial, thus this will not be good for bandos. As for ranged, the new best setup would give a maximum 13 range attack over the previous best void setup, which really isn't good enough, and would only be good for TD's if you changed helms, bodys(arma for void), gloves/shield(void for dark/defender) AND weapon(s). So yeah, if you can switch 4-5 items in no time at all(which i know some can do, but not for a full hour) this new setup would be the best for TD's. For range training on low defence/chinning, this will be part of the best setup. It's a lot better to get range attack bonus than melee attack bonus at td's, so all you really have to switch is still helm and weapon. (that is unless you use a steel titan) I'd rather say that it is much easier and beneficial to have great melee bonuses and use range as little as possible(or whenever needed), but whatever is THE BEST there, you are giving up ALOT to get the best, and with a karils/bandos/neit setup you'd likely get 1-3 kills less an hour while only switching one item and having better defenses across the board.

25-Aug-10 Conquest
Well...the worst piece of void clothing thus far was the gloves that would sap 12 str and 12 stab from you, while the loss of defender would sap 19 stab and 5 strength from you...this really, really isn't an upgrade lol. Mage void has never been worth it and it is mildly useful for range void(+4 range attack). Replacing it for the body slot could yield up to 13 extra range attack. I bet the ''activity'' is terrible though.

Poor equipment stats on quest related stuff
Soul wars(red/blue) cape- 8 in defense category's, 12 prayer, situationally the best cape in the game, usually used more frequently than fire cape- quest reward of nomad's requiem, 150k. Dragonfire shield IS quest related(you need dragon slayer to get antifire shield), but is by FAR inferior to all the spirit shields with sigils, which, evidently, are completely quest related, as you can't get them without completing summers end, nor can you wield them without completing the quest. So really, you are complaining about a few quest related rewards getting out of date when actually they have been replaced by superior quest related items. Maybe you are doing the wrong quests or are too much of a newbie to reach the next tier of quest rewards?

Poor equipment stats on quest related stuff
So your point is that quest related rewards should give you an edge over buyable items when infact...THEY DO, or DID. It is not jagex'es fault you weren't around in rsc or the start of rs2 where, as stated many times, legends cape WAS the best cape, and dragon SQ shield WAS the best shield. If you want a cape to give you an edge, look no further than the sw cape(very quest related, tied as the best cape in game) or for shields, all spirit shields are very much quest related. So, when you are crying about there rewards losing their glory, they have infact, been replaced by other, QUEST related rewards.

Two semi-xp weekend related questions
The max rate is around 2.3k potions an hour, but that's assuming no no random event's, which you are bound to get very frequently. As for chinning, you might want to try necryael, they are rarely packed.

Steel's vs. Abby demon's < New question on last post >
steel are worse magic experience as they have more mage def, drop elite clues and you have a minute chance of visage while abyssal demons are easier to kill with a more-or-less guaranteed profit(whip per ~475 demons). There is no clear favorite, however, for efficiency, abyssals seem the better option.

easter egg and junk
The only way to realistically and profitably get junk is to manipulate an item with low or restricted sources and sell when the items have rose 2-x times, but more than likely, you'd accumulate 100+m junk that way minimum. I'm not sure on the street price of egg atm, but it likely isn't high and will likely crash in a timespan of 5-30 days.

Which Boss Monster?
Not sure on why you'd want to kill boss monsters anyway, your stats are nowhere near good enough to kill any of the good ones, so KBD and mithril dragons are the only options really, they are both profitable, but the good drops are extremely rare from either of them.

Bonus Xp Weekend - September
There are multiple skills like that, and all buyables except for prayer if you consider inefficient methods....and that's without the weekend.

Runescape 2 Fact Sheet
Oh at least i don't have to brag and buff myself up to get myself up there ;-) Really nice read, although i already knew 90-95% of that. To be honest, as this is a FACT sheet, the pkig and staking part seems a little too subjective, and as we can see form the posts about it, people claim some terrible welfare pkers to be worthy enough to be on the list(like death threat for example). Facts are facts, if they aren't a first ballot name like ghjjf for pking or cursed you/ha12d for staking, they should not be mentioned.

120 Dungeoneering Finally Reached!
Instead of deleting the post, how would you like your life being put under the magnifying glass by hoards of adolescent kids just because you'd achieved something great? It was common courtesy in the old days on these forums NOT to discuss about someone else's lives as really, we know nothing about it. This thread isn't about weather the guy has a life or not, and making these comments just proves how sad your own lives are(empty enough to mock random people about how they want to live their lives). edit: he deleted the posts, but the fact remains...

Hacked and Rep Ruined
Change your name and cancel membership, that way you won't have your old name dangling around= problem solved, you've got a new identity. Or...just get new friends....who cares what other think.

Extremes vs Overload
If you only get extremes instead of overloads then the major and best moneymakers will still be unreachable for you- solo td-s, solo dk-s and solo bandos, even at frost dragons you'd be losing 200k an hour by not using them. They aren't anything amazing for slayer, but if you've got the money they are certainly better than extremes(as you kill things 2-6% faster).

Bonus Xp Weekend - September
As a general rule, if you don't know one or two of them, you really don't need to know them anyway or it doesn't have anything to do with you, if you don't know more than 3 then the person posting is just daft.

120 Dungeoneering Finally Reached!
And what exactly stops him from gaining 30k tokens an hour....? He still has 96m xp to go before he'll actually max the skill.

[DevBlog] Bonus XP Weekend: Second Helping
There ya go! :P Don't they know the only real reason we're training Dungeoneering is for the rewards? So basically this weekend is for Herblore or Runecrafting, and I'm being totally honest in that I feel this better be the last XP weekend. I would normally be training Herblore like I have been for a while, but since this "does not affect the economy" and yet I still can't buy any potion ingredients, I guess I'm just going to Runecraft or simply waste the time away. It's your own fault for not preparing for the weekend, everyone had the same opportunities so if other people could think ahead, so should you have done. And really, jagex are right about the weekends not substantially affecting the economy- the only visible effects this has on the economy are some quite minor price fluctuations leading up to the weekend and people burning their money away, nothing major in terms of average economic fluctuations. The economy would be seriously affected if both merchants and players themselves only hoarded skill-specific raw goods between the weekends thus raising the prices even on average, but we haven't seen any of that yet. Players having higher levels can't really be considered for economic effect.

When will the multiplier hit x1.5?
Still not linear, but should be helpful in decreasing the ridiculous amount of threads posted thus far.

An Elitist's View on Crashing
Soon enough we will be crashing much, much more than just your RS boss monster spawns... :ohnoes: deal with it

Double xp w/Dungeoneering
Nobody know as of yet, but it's likely to be stated by jagex before the actual weekend. For me, it would make sense to not give extra tokens, as this is double XP weekend, not double reward weekend, and last time round, you got the normal xp plus extra xp on top of it, so it' not likely to be put up to the reward screen.
-
When will the multiplier hit x1.5?
As far as i know and have read, it was supposed to be an exponential decrease and that had nothing to do with the rounding error. It also makes/made sense for the higher bonuses to last less while the lower bonuses to last longer.
-
When will the multiplier hit x1.5?
That's if it's a linear decrease with minimal gaps, which it wasn't the last time round(even i know that, even though i wasn't around for the weekend). Last time around the gaps were 0.2x and had an exponential decrease(2,7 to 2,5 in 15 mins, 1,3 to 1,1 in many hours), i don't, however, know the exact formula, and even if i did, there is nothing to say that the rounding will be correct or the formula the same this time round.

120 Dungeoneering Finally Reached!
It's sad how even tip.it mods figured readers had matured as much as to not discuss on how many people play on a specific account....but i guess even they can be wrong. Calling someone a nolifer on these forums is the ultimate sign of hypocrisy. The thinking of 10 year olds: someone better than you= n0lifer, someone worse than you= n00b. As for the achievement- amazing- he really did work hard for it and definitely deserves the credit. It's a bit sad, as some people have said, that though he has completed a skill, the skill itself isn't complete so most of his reward has yet to be released- the cape and emote though are really great.

200M in all Skills
It's impossible to make a nice looking and tidy guide on RSOF, and even for that reason, zarfots guide isn't one i'd suggest for everyone. Not having pictures is one of the worst things about the guide.

Going to TD's again.
I'm not saying you can't do it, but you'd likely be better off killing blue dragons for money with the current stats. When you reach extremes/unicorn, the story will be much different. The one thing you have going for you is that it's fun and you wouldn't lose much if you were to die.
