Going to TD's again.
If you are going to use food, don't use monks, they are better left at peace. Rocktails however... I have no idea why you'd have 2 pure sets in your inventoy, 2 doses of each should be more than enough with the other stuff you have with you. Brew for defence would be very helpful. TD's are not pushovers, and as you aren't maxed/low ranged/prayer/magic level, will be more than a match for the first few times you are there- expect to be crushed. Learning to prayer switch fast will be the single hardest thing to learn, and then trying to keep up with the right attack style while also having to keep yourself alive(as there is no way to avoid damage) will have to be learned also. The new luring is also a major mess.

Poor equipment stats on quest related stuff
Such game 'pureism' from someone so new to the actual game. Cape of legends was a status symbol when it was actually hard to earn, but the release of rs2 made everything so much easier so the cape also became ridiculously easy to get(not to mention the new quests). The game had to evolve, and replacing legends cape with a better cape was just a matter of time as everybody and their dog had one. When fire cape was released, only a select few could even hope to obtain one and there were much fewer to go around than most 99 skills(of which there were also much fewer at the time). So to compensate for the ridiculously hard to get cape, they also released another cape to cater for everyone else, which later got burned by skill capes. If there ever becomes a time every newb can get their hands on a fire cape and they do release a better cape(sw/ardy are contenders but not better) then it wouldn't matter much if a ''second best'' cape was also released. This could be applied to most dragon weaponry/armor, javs/throwaxes, elemental/mystic staves and a load of other stuff that used to be good but lost their glory over time. Nowadays, even the abyssal whip could be added to your list.

Frost Dragon Drops
2 visages in a span of 1100 kills is a meaningless size example and they don't really drop visages more frequently than other dragons, but might be the fastest dragon to kill for visages after mithril dragons. As far as i've seen on kc threads their visage droprate is somewhat lower than for iron dragons, 10k and 8k respectively, i got my visage from them after around 9,5k kills, but again, that proves nothing.

Battle robes at iron dragons
I'd advise for banking bones if you were to use the frozen castle place to kill them and could do it fast and efficient, but assuming you are to use briwhaven dungeon, no, it just takes way too much time.
-
Battle robes at iron dragons
You won't be cost efficient anyway considering you have 76 magic and low mage bonus but if you are to have fun, use the best spell possible. At least that's my usual advice, some people do actually get enjoyment in watching pain dry.

Mage training
It is an alternative to normal magic training if you really can't bother to actually train magic and have enough cash(as it isn't the cheapest method) but you've got to remember, even though there is NO way to detect if you are or not at your computer or jagex would ever bother to find out if you are or are not afk(just be priw/everything off), you absolutely HAVE to be at your computer. HAVE TO. just say'n.

bonus exp weekend
Realistically, to get the most out of the weekend, you need to level the most expencive but otherwise fast skills to be efficient, but as prayer isn't an option, herblore is perfect to gain cheap xp on(and what i will be doing, other good ones are dragonstone cutting, mahogany planks or addy/rune bars), unbuyable skills aren't much worth to do as the only time it takes them is the time you are training it, where as for buyables, it also takes time to make money/prepare but that time won't be accounted for.

Poor equipment stats on quest related stuff
Why would i have felt cheated? Legends cape was by far the best cape in the game and ridiculously exclusive at the time, comparable to the fire cape that replaced it. People that had one were very much respected, and the fact that you are a newschool player doesn't devalue the notion. Same thing with dragon med/square- they used to be the elysian and divine of their time and it's your fault missing that particular time.. White knight was always meant as a novelty armor and there are alot better examples of useless/worthless wearable items that require ridiculous amounts of playtime to gain(cw armor before update, for example).

DK's
You might be able to tribrid if you only use a cannon on prime with a 400-500 people server, but if you don't know what to do there, it will be very hard, plus, DK's are one of the monsters made spectacular by overloads(need to use all combat classes, heal with brews) and yak(bank hides and bones), so not having those will cut 4m profit an hour into something like 1,5m an hour.
-
Frost Dagon Guides
I know it would profit, but does it increase your speed enough to increase your profit/hour? Especially if you dont have yak and winter storage scrolls. Frost dragons are not worth killing if you don't have pack yak- banking for ~4 minutes every 40 kills just isn't the same thing as banking for 7 mintes every 330 kills, and cannoning without yak is even more terrible. As for cannon being useful, the maximum number of kills an hour with melee only is 140, 210 with cannonballs using around 2.7k cannonballs, so at those numbers, cannon is borderline useful if you don't account for the xp, effigies and other drops at 14k per bone(which is much lower than they will go atleast in the next 2 months). I get 120 kills per hour using range + war tortoise and banking. You are completely wrong about saying it's not worth it as I can make 2.7m per hour using this. I spend much less on potions as I take 4 Prayer potions and 1 range + anti fire per trip. I'll post my setup if you want it for your guide losing. 160 kills an hour is possible if done right, but for efficiency, it is NOT worth it, as in, you make 75% of the money and have to work harder for it while your other skills are already very high. I have no idea why anyone with 85 dungeoneering, maxed melee wouldn't get 99 slayer/summoning, but if people want to cripple themselves on purpose, i'm still not going to recommend it.

Choatic Longsword.
What do you class as better than a whip? is a 100k an hour whip better than a real whip? debatable...but realistically, if you plan to do slayer, you've wasted alot of tokens, and if you plan to do slayer with a cls instead of a whip/zs, you'll waste alot of money, too. Better luck next time. As for tasks you should use cls on, steel dragons, mithril dragons, black dragons and skeletal wyverns are about it(dark beasts are quite low defence, strykes are dealt with magic), otherwise you are better off(with ext/turm) using zs/whip as they don't cost anything to maintain. Skeletar wyverns are likely the only slayer task a cls is better than a rapier, but if so, not by alot.

Onyx amulet-fury
You can...on the other hand, why wouldn't you buy a half wine from the ge and have every single person you know slave for you for 3 months....? Oh, right, GE price has nothing to do with how many are sold every day.

Ring of Vigour
The new ring is certainly not better than berserker for slayer- with normal spec attack restore rate, you'll be able to do 2 more dragon claw specials an hour and have 20% special attack energy left over, with infinite special restore pots(and we know noone really uses an infinite amount) you'd be able to do 9 more special attacks to give up around 3000 damage an hour. So AT MAX your dragon claws specs will have to hit 333 more average damage than rapier....or an average of 1500 damage more without spec restores....(yes, both of them are imposible).

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
I feel all 3 would be best, it's why I have all of them. Plus it's future proofing for future monsters, a boss could come out that a CM or a CLS would be best for, I'd rather have them ready than having to go back to that horrible place called dungeoneering  No, the point is that with rapier+maul, cls becomes useless, and the better boosting gear we get the more rapier will dominate over cls- with +10 more stab bonus, rapier might actually be better than cls even at solo bandos(same equipment). If future bosses are to have extremely high defence, no doubt maul would be best, and if they are to have low defence, rapier will be best- the only gray area is bosses with around the same defense as bandos at which rapier is slightly worse and maul is slightly better without a shield. Also, rapier is better than the cls as ALL current dragons. If you have a cls, and haven't tested it yet, cls is NOT a stab weapon. To use stab on it, it gives a major part of it's accuracy boost which is the only reason to use a cls in the first place. At most dragons, a zamorakian spear is even better or as good as cls because of this loss in accuracy(124 slash 107 stab vs 94 stab).

19-Aug-10 Dungeoneering The Occult Floors
tome of frost costs 3k more tokens and has twice the magic attack bonus... Where would f2p need to save 2 inventory spots anyway? solo bandos?
-
19-Aug-10 Dungeoneering The Occult Floors
Bah, the magical blastbox is a major dissapointment aswell, you have to wield it for it to work(+5 magic attack and def) and only accepts death+air or chaos+air runes, so the one inventory space wasted actually means one space+shield slot wasted, and i was already hoping that they'd made something useful....(a box that stores fire blast runes for example).
-
19-Aug-10 Dungeoneering The Occult Floors
Anyone correct me if i'm wrong but... The magic box takes in chaos, death, and elemental runes, meaning that even if you don't use those particular spells, it will still carry those 6 types or runes.... 3 of which are components of fire surge- thus, does this potentially mean... 2 inv spot fire surges? :shades: That'd be awesome(and very useful). The ring of vigour seems quite useless, normal berserker dps is likely higher for anything lower than level 500 without spec restores, and berserker(i) is better than it full stop. Sure, it will be fun to use 2 msb specs again or even 2 zammy bow specs/2 sara bow specs for healing, but it doesn't seem to worthwhile. Scroll of efficiency is beastly- smithing rune at 2,5k bars an hour, the scroll would save you 125 bars, 2,4m an hour.

Best thing to kill for effigies?
Tormented demons and Frost dragons are considered to be the best droppers for the most efficient players, with both having around a 1,5 hour average of getting one with maxed stats/maxed methods. The second most efficient method is likely slayer with block list specifically set for effigies, around 1 per 2,3 hours. Cannoning Dark beasts/Black demons might also be worth it with rates similar to the slayer one. The drop rates aren't random, they differ for all monsters, and some have higher droprates, some have lower droprates, but no droprate is ever random(changing for every time you kill something).

Dclaw, whip, CRapier at Solo Bandos
Yes, he is weakER to slash than to stab, but the weakness in minimal and barely noticeable, and the most accurate weapon to use there is the chaotic maul, which has no slash attack at all. There are very few monsters apart from deamonheim whose weaknesses should be taken into account, and graardor is not one of them.
-
Dclaw, whip, CRapier at Solo Bandos
D claws make a major difference, and without them, on equal equipment, you should have got a bit more kills on slash, BUT, why the hell were you using slash??? Bandos isn't particularly weak to any attack style, and giving up 16 accuracy for essentially nothing is just....stupid.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Except that you don't get any experience at all, which means that in terms of efficiency, you are set back the whole 25-30 hour period, where as 200k tokens equals around 3 hours worth of experience, and coupled with the other factors, they are around as hard to obtain right now, but getting either will be much easier after any new dungeoneering update. As for usefulness, i'd say that the combined ability for all rings is worth around the same as +10 range bonus or +20 mage damage staff(likely best staff for training when you can make 3m an hour, best for ice strykewyrms and any pvp, but for zuriels.
-
Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Not much worse than getting iumbed rings for situational 4 str/4 magic/4 range or 6 magic def/att for the same amount of work. The chaotic crossbow is the BEST range weapon in game, no doubt, just as the staff is the BEST staff in game. Though neither of them might not be worth getting as the first chaotic, they are certainly more useful than the shields.

Slayer Cape or Fire Cape
Slayer cape for slayer tasks, as i've said before, is tragic. Most of the people you see while training the skill are 99 slayer, and NONE of them are wearing the cape, because it'd efficiently say that you want to show off to people that are actually better and smarter than you. Wear the fire/sw cape, hell, even ardy 3 is much better, to not look stupid.
