One boss to many?
barrows brothers are not boss monsters and are designed to be killed alone, where as boss monsters are designed to be killed with a team(though only one monster can really be classed as a boss monster). Monsters like the corpral beast are not designed to be killed alone and thus have no need to be player bound. Moreover, when soloing a boss it's always easier to find a suitable world than when teaming- non-ls worlds are only used by ffa worlds(max 2 servers at any boss at any time) and soloers, while there are loads of cs/ls teams around every boss at every time.

Dragon Scimitar, Barrelchest Anchor, Bandos Agility Arena...
Dragon Dagger(yes, it is very quest related)- the accuracy of the spec was reduced. [Rune Throwaxe (need to access the members side of the world to buy)]- spec was nerfed to make them completely useless.

Divine plus a thousand Dragon Platebodys.
I don't want to get 99 hunter because it would go against my new legacy of not skilling, and to spend as little time playing with the most effort. And yes, i bought all the ruined dragon pieces from the ge(4 claw drops, not a single ruined piece) and smithed them, usually stockpiling 20 to 40 hammers in my bank(can't buy more than 10 of a particular dragon piece from the ge in 4 hours).

Divine plus a thousand Dragon Platebodys.
Been going to FFA Corpral beast events for a while now, rarely even attended some CS ones. First kill of the day, didn't take pic on the spot because of stupid laptop shortcuts. and smithing it... The drop also pushed me over 1B networth(ge price). Most of the time i've been off skilling(since 99 woodcut, which i didn't post anywhere and lost the pic) i've been working towards that particular goal and just merchanting 3a on the few hours i did play. And this other goal... Yes, that's in my 1,000th Dragon Platebody to be smithed- 2M smithing experiance and 1B raw cash spent on fusion hammers. Sorry for the lack of pictures, but an event like this isn't easy to record, furthermore as i had my HDD crash a month ago(the goal took me around 4 months). enjoy.(no, i will not be getting 99 hunter even if it kills me)

F2p skillcapes?
Everything jagex ever does for free players goes around the same old rule: you give them a hand, and they take the whole arm, If you want to enjoy membership perks, pay for them.
-
Weekly Poll: Are you enjoying the changes made to randoms?
much less annoying and rare, but 100% of free experience being awarded- all good things.

Restart Puzzles After Log Out Should Be Removed
a puzzle usually takes only 2 to 5 minutes and changing it would require a lot of needed programming time. If you ealistically can not be online for 5 minutes, you shouldn't even bother with clues. Database requireing small changes are just not perspective for the game.

Time for armoury and weapons update for 120+ cb players?
As you already mentioned- there are already some items like that- the spirit shields- and those are way beyond the budget of 95% of the players that would want to use them. But surely, if jagex were to create so-called undegradeable pvp items then what were the chances of people like you getting your hands on them? If you can't afford the best armor now, you surely wouldn't be able to afford those new items anyway. Also- such weapons and armour are not really needed, though i'd most likely benefit alot from them.

Jagex begins fixing long-wrong prices
Soma- the list shows the price changes of the 100 most expensive items being traded withing a day, 7 days or 30 days. The list doesn't include raw materials(hilts, godsword shards, ruined pieces, sigils, all armor sets etc). The raw good sales do not affect the price of the finished product, but the finished product price is linked to the raw goods(for example ruined piece sales do not affect the dragon plate price in any way, but this works in the opposite with armor sets). So what we can read from the 30 day chart is that no ESS nor DSS has been sold on the ge in a month, though if any sigils have been sold is unknown. Sigil sales do NOT affect the shield price.

Jagex begins fixing long-wrong prices
BEGINS? jagex thoroughly began changing the math of ge for rare items on the 13th...of August...2008. The date 3a finally started updating once a week as opposed to once every 3-4 months and masks finally began moving up daily. And to be honest, i'd have to agree with mazgar- yes, jagex does change the prices of items manually, but talking about it with reference to this update is a bit like talking in awe about a car launched 3 years ago. Soma- don't get ahead of yourself with all that discussion- ever since the shields have been dropped jagex has always changed their price manually- that kept arcane and spectral shields very close to their original price through the time they were considered junk and is the reason why DSS, ESS and elixir update so rarely, but withing a certain interval. The first part of your discussion, though, is pointless. Jagex has always kept the prices of sigil-attacked shields stable and to compensate for any SS/elixir updates just changed the price of a sigil(that's why sigil prices change by ~100 gp every update). By doing it, they have kept ''hugging'' for shields extremely hard and avoided unnecessary dismay among shield owners, whose shields would go down despite being bh-traded for more than 200m+trade.

Help put an end to junk trading
Mazgar- prices are decided by the laws of supply and demand, and no merchant can actually price those items unless he owns the monopoly which is impossible for any rs item. No- junk trading is NOT good, in the same way cars are actually not good for our planet, but junk trading happens to be the best(arguably) means of trading for under/overvalued items, in the same way cars are the best means of transport. Since the only alternative to junk trading is BH trades, that are actually against jagex rules junk trades are not actually that bad. People do not usually go about making junk- only a very small percentage of all undervalued items are actually sold with junk and most people just follow the old guidelines- wait for prices to update and trade undervalued items for other items- but this very thing causes the problem- even without junk trades people wouldn't sell their items in the GE and the GE has no hope for ever being correct without some serious tweaking. Jagex made a system far too complicated to control and now they are paying the price- the more you junk trade, the more hope we have for jagex to realize this can't go on forever.

Why do you wear "great" armor or use an "awesome" weapon?
Practicality(+5% offensive and +70% defensive bonuses, more prayer bonus), reduced cost of training (less food needed/no defense potions needed, less prayer points, more healing, better special attacks) and likability( get bored less often while training with a gs). If you have the required 110m, then why not? if you are aware of the prices and buy the items at a good price then the chances of losing money on them are slim, but it doesn't really cost you anything having them(unless you need to use the money for something else). Another method is to wear 3a while training- sure to be making money with great defensive bonuses.
-
Am I the only one who thinks AGS is not worth it??
The price is never linearly formed by the usefulness of the item. SUPPLY and DEMAND. Partyhats. This thread is not worth it.

Top F2pers 70 Combat and Below.
Unless I can't stretch my sarcasm muscle quite far enough, this sounds like a ridiculous, appalling idea. Why not do a nonmembers top list of people who used to be p2p a year ago, are below 70 crafting and above 90 cooking, but still live with their parents? sounds like a great plan to me, any applicants? btw, all my friends said it would be a great idea.

What if you had more inventory slots?
Don't want to make you guys look stupid or anything, but yeah, what he said. For things done in banks the 2-4 spots don't really matter much, but with yak i could bank 2x the number of logs i would have normally with the current inventory. At monsters having yak/58 inventory slots is practically the same thing, but only a fair few(and worthily so) can use it.

Gf corp.
Dramatic, how the person who made the most of this is actually the friend you sold the sigil to- not even considering bhing it for trade+150m. It's a good job you are happy, atleast. Very lucky drop. Artemis- junk actually is not a way to increase the value of your drop- it can easily gotten rid of with minimal loss most of the time. But if, in fact, you do consider it a way of making more profit then yes, divine and elysain sell for more than 1B in 3rd age armor or with partyhats(seen 4 3a legs+claws offered for divine).

Advisor Ghrim and Flatpacks- BAILOUT FOR PPL WITH FLATPACKS
Care to expand on that one? I'll expand as much as- you can not do it(as i mentioned high level skills being involved). Also it can be risky(lost like 5m at first).

Advisor Ghrim and Flatpacks- BAILOUT FOR PPL WITH FLATPACKS
Though i do have 99 construction, i did not bother with either of these diaries and abusing this bug- anybody still playing a victim should already understand that it was simply too good to be true and that jagex has fixed bugs on the run for many occasions(latest tormanted demon safespot nerf). Overall, by acting this way the market just got more junk for easier trading(like granite) and that's all- doubt anyone made much more than 100m from it, but i do know of one person who lost that much. On the more alarming side, jagex created a similar moneymaking method requiring expensive high level skills and money to hoard limited amount of money a day, and i doubt that would be nerfed.

Dragon Plate: Oversupplied?
WHAT? Considering the chain has been roaming around for years and is still in great demand, the plate should still have quite a big market, and the plate pieces are actually quite rare to be found and in limited amounts(they are now very rare drops from demons). The current major pircedrop is a result of market being majorly oversupplied, but less and less people are going to be finishing the quest from now, therefor the price is bound to rebound in short notice and the slow supply of ruined pieces will keep the plate price up. It's MUCH easier for a person to get many dragon chains than finish the quest and get 2 ruined pieces.

Dragon Claws
Great thinking- Lets just get rid of Dharok's(max of 96 on a person), Dark bow(max of 96-98), Dragon dagger(90+poison), Armadyl godsword(max of 80), onyx/dragon bolts(max of around 75), granite maul(max of around 120 in one blow), some new pvp weapons such as statius hammer, vesta longsword and morrigan javelin aswell as the claws(max of around 96) then. The point is, there have and will always be very powerful weapons in the game, but as weapons get better, so do armor that proctect's against them- no- not everyone uses a divine ss, but neither will many people be using these claws- there aren't too many people who can hunt for them and they still are a rare drop. Assuming you have the best defense in the game it's quite pointless to think of hitting 2 max specs in a row. And actually, using some logic(the patterns of special attack splashes), the claws actually aren't THAT good- the max hit is similar to the dds, but can not be poisoned- with the only difference of less luck being in play for the special attack.

Dragon Claws
You have never been able to bring borrowed items onto PVP servers(duel arena isn't PVP, it's just a minigame). So much false information going around these forums that it's just ridiculous- if you are not 100% certain of something- just do not post, like for instance mister *i like defending 3hitu*. As far as i've seen so far, they seem quite reasonable as the new animal masks- only that they are going up much faster and can only be obtained by experienced players, i'd be surprised if they didn't peak at above 5m, but it may aswell happen seeing how many people are madly doing quests atm.

The Ultimate Outfit?
Red partyhat, slayer cape, 3a plate and legs, dragon boots, mage's book, fury and morrigan's javelin. A very beautiful combination.

21 questions
For time and again...they usually want me to list all of my 19 skillcapes aswell... Wearing 3rd age armor is a similar pain....

approximate... (dragon med's)
d med dropped considerably when fremmennik helms were launched a few months after rs2 release. Before that d med was valued even higher than purple partyhat.

Partyhats are back.
Great news, though i doubt it will last- as someone clearly and very elaborately explained on the rs official forums a month ago, that because partyhat price range is stuck at 1%, merchants, who are only in the partyhat business for profit(and control atleast half of the market) will soon become tired of the endless waiting for the prices to update and realize that they could make so much more than +1% of their money a day by merchanting items that have a 5% price range. 3a crash? Don't know if this can actually be described as a crash rather than a slight panic and stupidity among some merchants and a general awe of 3a being traded for what just yesterday was considered as junk. At this moment partyhats are very nicely coinciding with 3a as i already had predicted. The 3a price drop has little to do with hats and is mostly because of it being sold with the worst of junk- spectral/arcane/elixir, pvp armor and dfh-s.
