  1. I'm not sure how you got them numbers but I calc an average of 1 sigil ever 189 kills and my binomial distribution numbers also get other numbers :P. With my 1:189 luck I get: If you kill 80 corps, there's a 34.6% chance to get a sigil 120 corps give 47% chance 189 corps give 63.3% 360 corps give 85.2% :) Probability of any sigil: (1/700 + 1/700 + 1/350 + 1/350) = 0.00857 Expected kills per drop: 1/0.00857 = 117 I simply rounded up to 120, to be conservative.
  2. You get your mints first, then buy the crashing items. Since they're crashing, you can get min instantly. Duh.
  3. If you use Kuradal, this is what I would do: Greater Demons Hellhounds Living Rock Creatures Warped Tortoises
  4. Well, let's assume bandos chestplates are crashing, and are trading at a street value of cash for mint + BCP. Consider this: You buy a mint from a RWT site. You buy a BCP for minimum, instantly on the grand exchange (-23.8m) You sell a BCP for med, with a mint (25.1m) You made a profit of 1.3m. If historical rates apply (adjusted for inflation), you would probably pay about 2.50 USD for 1m, or 3.25 USD for a mint. A gold farmer could gold farm about 800k an hour playing gnome restaurant one one account, and take the mints (about one every ninety minutes) to sell to more players. 800k + 866k = 1.66m per hour, or about $4 an hour, which is a lot better than what standard wages in developing nations are. I'd say the risk for mint RWTing is very likely, if it's not already ocurring.
  5. Thank you very much, I was hopping I could get some figures from OTG. Couldn't get any replies on their thread lol. Ahh well, 86 down, 614 to go haha.... until I might miss one o.O Given these rates, the drop rate for any sigil is approximately 1:120. From this, we ascertain that: to be 95% sure you will get a sigil you should kill 360. to be 75% sure you will get a sigil you should kill 165. to be 50% sure you will get a sigil you should kill 83.

    Very useful

What we need is for all worlds to be lootshare. Know that this will cause the prices of bandos and armadyl to drop, as they are supported by scarcity of worlds.
  7. Don't bother with easy tasks. You should be able to do at least 25 hard tasks per hour. Let me give you my "drop rates" so far: In about 700 deliveries: 8 Mint cakes 6 goggles 5 scarves 50 tree pods 69 gnomeballs 50 half keys 5.8m in other assorted loot Here are a few tips I've picked up: As soon as you give the gnome his food, teleport. You will still receive the tip at your teleport location. The fastest way to get back to the grand tree (to my knowledge) is Duel Ring -> Mobilising Armies and then Spirit Tree -> Tree Gnome Stronghold. The NPCs that give goggles/scarves are Daerkin at the duel arena and Ninto under White Wolf Mountain. The NPCs that give mint cakes/tree pods are Penwie on Karamja, Wingstone in the desert, and Brambickle in the Trollweiss mountains. The professors (Manglethorpe, Onglewip, and Imblewyn) also give out tree pods. It is helpful to make the food beforehand. If you do, the best way to get cocktail glasses en masse is by buying premade drinks and drinking them. Do not make as many of Fruit Blast or Pineapple punch as you do of the other drinks, since these two will always appear in your reward food, and never the others.
  8. Five tries, failed my first time and the first time after the healers were "updated".
  9. Favorite: Herblore. Least Favorite: Thieving. Eww.
  10. Instead of cannonballing, smelt gold with gauntlets when you want AFK xp. When/if you want to do "real" training of the skill, do the best platebody you can with SC hammers.
  11. OMG REPOT HIM@@@ Green Dragons are much better than snakes. If you're looking for other ways to make money, you can make 500-900k killing Aviansies. You can also make 750k profit an hour cannoning aberrant spectres, and boss hunting monsters such as Dagannoth Rex, Tormented Demons, or any of the God Wars bosses can be quite profitable as well.
  12. That's what I need for the last like 7m for my gs, thanks to his website  But it's a LIE, it caps at around 700k/h, with low stats probably 500k/h if lucky. Greens are 1.3m/h Note that this figure is with cannoning. And "lie" might be better replaced with "incorrect".
  13. Banks are still backed by good faith, mind you :P In fact, I'm pretty sure that good faith is the new way to back money, gold was the old way. Correct you are. RuneScape is finally starting to look like the real economy. Inflation? "virtual" currency? We got it :D Obtrusive price fixing and trade restrictions?
  14. The usual panic...by that you mean the multitude of 5-day riots after Jagex makes any changes to the game? /hyperbole And don't you think quoting yourself in your own signature is a bit... pretentious?
  15. Use prayer, since you'll want to piety anyway.
  16. This is illegal and you shouldn't do it: Buy mints with crashing junk on the account you don't use, trade the mints to the one you do. Sell the junk once it rebounds, and repeat.
  17. 500k for the goggles 5m for the pods 3m for the cake
  18. Mith Plates with SC is the most efficient method if you make 1.5m+ an hour.
  19. Banks are still backed by good faith, mind you :P
  20. Decided to screenshot my bank on a whim. Did nothing to it but deposit what I was wearing (was just at another failed armadyl trip). [Hide=WARNING: Large Image!][/hide]
  21. Those dwarf shorts and tops.
  22. You can thank price controls and GE limits for that.
  23. Who uses area sounds? :\
  24. They're actually worth about 500-800k each. Also, they're not quite as useful as mints because they are left click activated and unnotable, so you are more likely to "waste" them.
