I usually go 3 Hybrids (range and melee) and 1 mage. It works out great normally and its just a 4 way split if we get a drop.

ive gotten 2 champion scrolls in a row on back to back lessers tasks... i dropped first one and then got antoher one next task

level 3 clue - 83 combat dragon drop - 94 combat, Dmed million gp - umm level 63? d left half - level 113 :D (last week)

Not to drag down your goal but you really need to kill Fire Giants and hopefully get your levels up. I am currently going for 85 slayer too (89k to it!!!) and it would have taken 5 times longer with your stats. If you cant melee the Fire Giants then range them like 90% of pures do :P

This was a topic before, people with only melee stats and all wearing the same thing. One day I went and killed every autoer I could and a few that werent (woops) and In about 2 hours i had killed 40-50 of them. Then a guy dressed as an autoer lured me into a 125 and ... bye bye whip.

Ive never used ring of wealth, zerker ring or archer ring for me :D Ive gotten 7 Dmeds and a left half without a wealth so yah...

Mine was 130 some, last week I went world 9 with ice bursts and just sat on their wall freezing like crazy and every so often pulling out a dds to ko the level 40's

Mainly to no prayer with that stuff you need to be like 120+, the other alternative is veracs which works very good with adequate potting and knowing when/how to eat.

I wear at first: Noseplug Karils top and bottom fury zerker ring rune boots whip rune defender In inventory: dds proslyte top and bottom glory (to get back to dray) slayer gem 4 pray pots (for a task under 120) a super str and a super attack rest monkfish with 4 spaces blank My method: I melee them with karils on till I am down to 4 food, then I let my hp go to about 25 , then I put on my prostlyte armour and mage pray till im down to 2 free spaces, I then melee with kairls until I have 1 monkfish left, again I let my hp drop (so I can heal while I pray) and melee the rest. If you are like me you hate banking so I usually end up dropping slayer gem and only keeping ranarr and kwuarm (not unids) and I keep most high level seeds just cause they stack. PS - I leave if I get a clue with more then 50 remaining.

Harrington, I have seen some people who just usea Dbaxe and super attacks, have you tried this (I am going for 85 slay and wanna know what to use)

Whenever I get a death pile and the person returns I like to see their reaction before I give some stuff back. The worst case is I got completely flamed before i said anything to the guy (he knew i got) so i gave him 10 gp and an empty vial (keeping all his ranger gear). Another time someone died at fire giants and returned a few hours later (he had chat off i am thinking) he had nearly nothing, but wanted to range so bad so i returned all his arrows and a few thousand extra since I didnt know exactly what was his anymore. On the flip side, last week I died and lost over 17.7 mill, knowing the people in runescape these days i didnt even return, then I got messaged saying come to lumby. THe guy had gone out of his way trying to figure out my name to return everything (about 17 mill returned) and he even fixed the guthans

I don't think this will be a great skill personally. It doesnt exactly sound combat based and it sounds slow and boring. I mean in real life hunters aren't high energy and chasing a moose through the forest. They set a trap, wait for it and then shoot it. This doesn't sound very exciting at all.

I usually just set a goal and go for it. I did this for big goals such as 95 fletch and 85 mage. Currently I am working on 85 slayer and 99 attack.

One year from now... hmmm. I'd like to have maxed melee stats, 85 slayer, 94 mage, 99 fletching, 75-80 prayer and a red mask + all the gear I have now.

I have had my faith restored in people in rs temporarily. Three days ago I was training slayer at Black Demons and my computer decided to restart on its own. When I logged back in I was in fally with Guthan Plate + Skirt and D square. I lost: Fury Berserker ring whip dds glory guthan spear and helm rune boots black mask 99 range cape A few smaller things in inven (money and rune drops) So immediatly im just shocked. Then I get it together and go and sell my full drag and ranger set. Then minute I am about to sell archer ring I get pm'ed saying come to lumby. I assumed this was someone wanting to buy the ring. I get there and the guy says, "I have something you may want" and he trades me everything but the boots, glory, cape (obviously) and the small inven items. Needless to say I thanked him for a good 15 minutes. So in total I lost about 17.6 mill from dying, and the guy gave back 17 mill of it. This restored my faith in people, I was even offered the glory back by another person but I let him keep since he needed it more.

They wont do a halloween drop which is tradeable because they already said they would not do that again. As for the day the update comes out, last year I believe that the update came out on Halloween and lasted a few days. Maybe ill get yet another emote!

More people get the books for the use, it is the best thing to have in shield spot for maging, yet you can wear ahrims that is way better then infinity. Way more books are out there and very few skirts.

ice giants and warriors, once they are unagressive they are wicked. Drop lots of nats aswell. I just did 50-70 range on them for my pure.

Im sure lots of people can relate to this, as in taking an unwanted item into the wilderness. My worst case was my team was yelling at me to hurry and get ready to pk because they were tracking a small team of DI. I was on slayer so I house tele'd, went to edge and pulled out usual stuff (see sig for my pk gear) and put it on and ran into the wild. Just before DI comes to check our world I check my inven and see that i forgot to bank my slayer gear (full guthans, fury, whip, berserker ring) and only had 6 monkfish... this is not a good thing to see in level 46 wild. I yelled for my team to transport me to ardy lever and I banked and came back out just in time to catch DI in multi and we got 2 whips and 1 set of ahrims :D

I think that range should have 2 specials, with 99 range my max hit is 25 with range pot and prayer, where as someone with 90 str can hit 30's with dds.

It is rarely used in slayer but requires level 55 slayer to use. It is primarily used in barrows for its low cost, good accuracy and high hits (depending on mage level). This spell only require like 350gp per cast compared to the 600+gp per cast for other spells this good.

Well I think in F2P the triangle is a bit weak on the mage side, but this is about p2p so I'll comment on that. In P2P now, it is not uncommon to see a melee/mage hybrid, this is because with even 85 mage (and blitz) you can still hit on full dhides and mage pray something near 1 in 5 times. If a ranger goes against a meleer in P2P, all they do is bring out a dagger and special you to death, the damage from arrows at 99 range, potted and praying can only MAX at 25. A person with 80 str can do that with a dagger. The only thing that rangers can do now is become a Ranger/Mage hybrid and prey on the melee/mage hybrids. Therefore I do not see the Combat Triangle as a triangle anymore, but more of a straight line in which mage is in the middle, mages can be beat pretty easily if they are only maging, but if any side beats them then they become stronger then either of the sides.
