    Today...

PSAT went well. Probably missed a couple on each section. Don't know though! Went to Barnes & Noble with my school afterward. Doing homework, might be a late night. I think the whole YouTube thing is going to work out. Got a couple people willing to make videos. Along with my weekly video it sounds like a good start.
  3. Or become a pilot "Errr we're about 20 minutes from the errrrr destination. Current time is errrr 5:23pm errr" Ahah, thank you. But talking sorta stinks. Lookin' forward to it! Sounds good. As for myself, I plan on making a video for the channel every weekend.

    Today...

Started a book today (well, before I went to sleep last night at around 1AM). Not quite sure what it's about yet. I foresee it as philosophical and general introspective discussion with myself.
  5. Not quite sure. Hey, maybe in the least it'll be a source of entertainment so you will no longer be "boooooored".

  6. I've never been told I look like Seth Rogen. Yeah, I do have a cold. Nice ear.
  7. There's a difference between getting warm when it's cold and thus feeling cozy, and being warm when it's hot and thus sweating or just feeling uncomfortable and needing to cool off (go swimming). I LOVE hot chocolate but it's not as satisfying to drink it in the summer.. then it just makes me feel too hot. I also love cuddling with blankets. It's not about getting warm it's just about feeling cozy. Again, can't do that in the winter without sweating to death. I must be strange then. I've never felt "cozy" before. :-? I do like making fires though...and hot chocolate, although I can't have it anymore as I'm now lactose intolerant. Stop teasing me with things I will never experience!

    Today...

Oh god, I'm revealed. All the videos on that channel were made in one really long and boring week this past summer. Don't judge me.
  9. No PK videos, not directly alluding or relating to TIF. ily tew
  10. TET events definitely would. General RS music videos wouldn't, maybe if it was about TIF  . I think that could probably work.
  11. As long as they directly allude to something on TIF I'd say they'd be acceptable. Example: Just because TIF had a thread regarding Update X, doesn't mean that we would be accepting and uploading general videos about Update X. Which brings me back to having no clue. :P Il stick to my channel. I can upload what I want there. Maybe reading my thread in off-topic will give you a better idea. Here

  13. You're right. But on the same level, so are videos of Barack Obama. Videos need to be about something in or about the forum.
  14. Are you asking if you can use that picture as an introduction to your videos? I don't see why not. And these videos have to be related to TIF btw.
  15. Megaupload is probably fine too. I wouldn't accept that video because I don't see how it relates to TIF. Maybe if you posted a watermark in the gallery then made a commentary on it. Then I would accept it.
  16. Earlier today I made a "Yea or Nay" thread (http://forum.tip.it/topic/247845-tipit-youtube-channel-video-introduction/) as to whether or not I should in fact pursue making a Tip.it YouTube channel (I do not intent this thread to be a repeat of the one previously made. I opened this thread because the topic of discussion is entirely different than in my previous thread). The general consensus was a strong "Yea" and I opened the channel accordingly. Instead of having to read anything, simply watch the Introduction video below to get an idea of the concept. Feel free to discuss your opinions on directions that I should take with this, also feel free to criticize and whatnot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CQ7CQEhV2s NOTE: This thread may give you a better idea. Here Videos uploaded on this channel will not be general RuneScape videos, but videos that have to do with TIF in one way or another. Talking into the camera is encouraged.
  17. I'm not planning on this being a daily thing. Just a once-in-a-while upload. If people do want to upload lots of TIF-related videos then I'd just appoint a sufficient amount of channel-runners.
  18. Here's how its going to work: 1. I will title it "Unofficial" to avoid any commotion 2. I will probably give the password to a couple select users who will simply have the job of uploading and reading PMs and such. 3. I will allow anyone to submit a video, all they have to do is host it via Rapidshare or another easy-to-download/upload video hosting site, and have them PM the hosted link to me or another of the aforementioned select users. I will be making some clearer guidelines for submission and such later. Please note that myself and the select users will not be the only ones that will be able to submit videos. This is for everyone, it is simply mine and their job to manage the channel and do the actual uploading. Also, if any TIF Admins want to use the channel for any announcements and the like, you will be more than welcome to do so.
  19. What do you mean by that? If there were to be an official YouTube channel for Tip.It then it would need to be ran and regulated by the staff and admins really. Well, seeing as I am the owner of the YouTube account, it can only be ran by me and who I allow. Since I am not the owner of Tip.it then of course it would not be an "Official" channel. I have no intentions of labeling it as "unofficial" or "official"; it is what it is.
  20. I'm not sure if you have seen them before, but many groups of people, be it forums, Facebook groups, companies, and so on, have "community" YouTube channels where multiple people contribute to uploading videos onto one channel about or directed to their respective community. There are many variations of these channels. Some of them are there just so a forum can make-easier it's global announcements, or so a company can easily get feedback from it's employees. There are also community channels for forums that sums up activities or acts as recreational source for a few members of the community to collaborate a channel and have their forum as a viewer-base. I made the YouTube channel "ForumTipIt", and was wondering if you guys can give me a Yea or Nay on this idea. I'm not all for the idea myself, but if someone can convince me that it is worth it I may try to make it work. EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CQ7CQEhV2s&feature=player_profilepage#

    Post counts

I like reflecting and adding to my post count, but I generally don't pay any mind to anyone else's. I just don't feel like post count has any credibility to be a basis for seeing how active someone is. 1. There are things like "What are you listening to now?", and many Runescape-related threads that, in general, have no more than a sentence or so per-reply. Also, you can't compare user X who's replies average 1 sentence, and user Y who's replies average >100 words; I try to be closer to the user Y . 2. Not everyone enjoys putting their two cents into every thread they look at (like me). I am very active on TIF, but my post-count isn't representative of my activity at all. 3. Because the disparity between join-dates are so great for high-post users, you gotta take into account when they joined if you want to lend any credibility to this post-count thing. Aside from gauging a users activity, post-count is still interesting to look at as a way of simply seeing the history of a user. I'm glad TIF counts posts.
  22. Nothing much, dude.

    Tiiiirreed.
