I think the science of Love and Emotion could be categorized under Neurophysiology, Cognative Science, and other brain sciences. As humans, it is our nature to be "different" as we want to succeed and do the best we can. Possibly by making ourselves "different" we can feel as though we are taking a new tactic; so many people with so many ideas have gone and went. Another reason some may way to be different is because we are dissatisfied with the norm or majority. We feel something needs to be revolutionized and acting upon it is the most powerful thing that we can do as one.

I couldnt disagree more. Dude, quit whining and hating against people who are posting in this thread. This thread is more of a rant than anything (hint hint, wrong forum) and ultimately it is Jagex's decision on everything. If they like the way familiars interact in the game then by god they aren't going to change a thing just to appeal to the whiny "needs" of a single TIF member. Gielinor does not revolve around you sir. Sorry I fail to see any non-constructive ideas made by me in this thread. I've generalized this to show that it would actually impact a lot of players. Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean it only affects me. This is in no way a rant, I am suggesting a auto-retaliate option for familiars, not flaming familiars in general. edit: If you were wondering why I disagreed with Bloodargon it is because he said that stops you from gaining experience. For this I'm going to quote runescape.com So by gaining experience it is debatable that Jagex is impairing ones opportunity to "find their role" by giving me unwanted experience. So I disagree with him because he stated that players shouldn't resist experience of any kind, but Runescape.com seems to think otherwise, explaining why I disagree. I tried to be as constuctive as possible to avoid Miner5529's misconception as this being a "whine-fest".

I think you may need to re-read the thread or learn more about Summoning. Well what do you want? Defeat the purpose of summoning at helping you training? - If you want to summon a monster but don't want it to fight you could resort to clicking the "call" button continuasly.. I do that, but often times you can't, like when your operating one of the appendages in the abyss. Anyways, I don't want to have to spam "call" for hours when sara-soloing etc.

This was a RSOF thread I just made under Suggestions, I decided to put it on tip to see if anyone feels the same way as me or has any input. Hi, this topic is regarding familiars and unwanted experience given by them. First to start off, lets establish where I'm coming from. I have been playing since 2004, making my account how I wanted since the start I've done what is fun for me, I think that is what this game is all about, Having fun and watching yourself progress in your own unique way. I have the stats I want, I am a tank-ranger/mager. Having 99 range, defence, magic and hitpoints. Ever since about early 2006 I have avoided Strength and Attack entirely as I LOVE being a tank. Since the release of Summoning I have enjoyed training the skill and its many uses that it has in everyday Runescaping. I constantly use my terrorbird for its energy scroll and holding supplies. I also use the spirit graahk while rcing. But ever since using these two familiars I am slowly gaining attack and strength experience respectively as I often go through multicombat areas where monsters are aggresive towards me. And what does my familiar do? It attacks these monsters giving me experience in these skills I go out of my way not to train and that I feel define my character. I have gained thousands of experience in both these skills, closing in to the next levels just because of the experience from my familiars. It may seem nominal but it definatly adds up. I get attack and strength experience in the ZMI, saradomin gwd solo'ing, dking, the abyss, and some slayer assignments. Soon I will have to avoid using these very useful familiars completely and all my time training Summoning will become that much more useless.

I highly doubt you have a brain tumor, but you can never be to safe about something life threatening like that. I'd get it checked out, get a catscan.
