how to be a moderator
And in case you're wondering, asking to become one doesn't exactly help your chances. On topic, however... If you are referring to becoming a Runescape Moderator, these two articals from the Runescape Knowledge Base will explain the process. How to Become a Player Moderator How to become a Forum Moderator If you are interested in becoming a Tip.It moderator, essentially follow the steps in the Forum Moderator section above. Just keep on the forums as you normally do, and if we think that you will be helpful to our staff, we will send you a message on the process.

One loggin
I think he's talking about what the website was like before, where you logged in once and it takes you to a navigation menu that can allow you to change your password, change recoveries, go to the forums and everything by only logging in once. Jagex undid this so to add additional security, so that if you walk away from your computer (say you were browsing the forums), your little brother or someone couldn't walk up and change your password or something. So in short, no this isn't going to happen.

Post YOUR Runecrafting Setup.
The armor I wear is purely situational. I usually go around the river on the east side, rather than take a straight shot towards where the pkers usually sit. Either way, my outfit usually is comprised of... Black Dragonhide Body Black Dragonhide Legs Steel Pickaxe 1 Air/Law/Earth First 3 Pouches Essence I also have a mounted glory in my house, and it makes a convenient food stop for if I get damaged a bit by the Abyss monsters (stop in the kitchen, bake a cake, go back to work).

new following options *last update on 5/10/07* 13 supports
This would be an amusing suggestion. You could put my name down, however realize that this is support from me, not the entire staff. It'd be interesting to make a giant "X" or something, and go running full force into the wilderness like that and scare the crud out of a lone player... Flying V would also be amusing to do... As to this point... The current follow program sets it up where it notes the player's previous square and moves you to that square as best as possible. I'm sure it'd be easy to simply make code that detected the direction you're walking, and moved the square you are to be in appropriately...

Zogre flesh eaters
The disease decreases a Random skill (except hitpoints) by the amount hit. If it reaches 0, you are in no danger. The disease is just annoying. You are in absolutely no danger from the disease (except for when it hits a few combat stats, which could potentially be hazardous). As for the best way to do this, get to the point where you can make a Composite Ogre Bow and some Brutal Arrows, then take those down with you to the fight with Slash Bash. Throw on Protection prayers and shoot him with the bow to kill him quickly. Follow the guide as it says and you'll be fine. It gets rather easier if you are level 89, as that gets you out of the aggressive range of all the Zogres.

Warrior Guild tokens
I agree with everyone else. Mithril Armor gives you good tokens and doesn't break enough for you to require a second suit. I got 2k tokens on one set, and managed to obtain 12 Rune Defenders in those 2k tokens.

Mini Games: Splitbark Armour
[Darkblade986 30/4: I'll talk to Kiara or someone about how this should be worded or if it should be put in. I'm not sure if we'll post specific worlds for this exact reason (the world changes).]

Evil Stew and Tea question
Are you sure you're using 3 doses of spice? If you're only using 1 dose of spice, then it will only ever increase your level by up to 2. The formula for finding out how much you can gain or lose in the skill is: (# of doses x2). So for 1 dose, you can get +/- 2; 2 doses is +/- 4; 3 doses is +/- 6. Realize, however, that if you did put 3 doses in, it's still possible for you to gain or lose any number of levels below that. So if you drank a 6-dose stew, you could possibly be at +/- 1, +/- 2, etc.

Camo
If you only had Camo items, then the most expensive items you'd have would be at 0gp, so you'd still keep the 3 most expensive items you have (even if they have a price of 0gp). As for how a tie between items of equal value is broken, I don't know.

Desert Treasure Question
So long as you're wearing Ice Gloves from the Hero's Quest, it's irrelevant. While wearing them, you won't be affected by his power and will be able to use whatever weapons you want.

New Rule Apperantly
The reason Luring is considered against the rules is because the line to the wilderness was never clearly marked until the Ditch was added. Now that it is, I can essentially agree with you that it's the player's fault if they get lured. Before, luring was easier because the boundary wasn't as defined, and people wouldn't be able to tell where the start is. They obviously don't intend to go into the wilderness, however when they don't know where it starts, it gets kind of hard to avoid...

Suggestion forum available for the FTP?
The forums are a privilege for paying members. The reason behind this is because any bans placed on a specific character on these forums has a little more force than does one on a F2P account. If a F2P account received a forum ban, there is nothing stopping them from simply creating a new account and continuing to do what they were doing in the first place. This one reason alone is enough to have Jagex make it so that only members can post suggestions. While it is true that, sometimes, F2P people have good suggestions, it is still a greater good to have control over the forums rather than to have lost it, even if a good suggestion is lost in the process.

Camo
Random event clothing has a store value of 0gp. Therefore, anything with a value over 0gp (in other words, just about anything) will protect over it. If you were skulled, then you'd lose everything. To find out what 3 items you'd keep when you die, check the Item Database and check the General Store price: The highest 3 prices there will be the ones you keep.

The Beast of Keldagrim
It's from the Rat Catcher quest. That cat is guarding the Cats Rat cage for the Rat Catcher's Mini-game. You can start that quest by talking to Gertrude.

best place to woodcut?
I agree with Wizard on that. In my opinion, these are the best places for these trees... Normal: South of Seer's Village, the block of about 30 trees near the Flax Patch Oaks: The two right beside Seer's Bank Willows: Draynor Village Maples: North of Seer's Bank Yews: Seer's Village Monestary Magics: Lleyta Get the feeling Seer's Village is a good place to cut logs? Either way, if you're looking for fast xp and you're still kind of a low level Woodcutter, Oak Logs are better than Willows. You always 1-hit them, and they can sell for a bit too if you decide to invest them later into Planks.

Come on with the dang ads :(
As you said, they pay for the site. Pop-ups (if my understanding is correct) generate more money because you are forced to look at them. So basically, there's a choice here... Deal with pop-ups or we can't have Tip.It... If it bugs you that badly, try and find a decent pop-up blocker. Mozilla has a pop-up blocker built in, so you might want to consider trying that.

Can You Buy
No, you can't. However, in Al-Kharid, there's a crafting shop with needles, moulds and thread (100 stock).

Mournings End PtII - Method Check
Ok, here's a method I've thought of that I'd like to get confirmation on whether this method is plausible or not. What my plan is to wear equipment that increases my prayer bonus as high as possible, and stock my inventory up with as many Prayer Potions as possible, while still keeping room to hold all the mirrors and crystals. I'll also have the Holy Wrench to help out, and during the whole excursion, I'll be using Protect from Melee to help against the Shadows. Basically, the idea is rather than heal AFTER the Shadows strike, I won't even give them the chance to. Suggestions? Criticisms?

Info about Hunter
Yes, I know about that place... However if you train Hunter, each of the birds will provide you with regular Bones each kill. When you start catching them quickly, that's much faster than any Wilderness spawn.

Info about Hunter
The beginning of it is slow, but once you get to 2 traps, the speed increases greatly. By the standard definition, this skill isn't hard, although it is somewhat tedious. It requires a lot of clicking, where precision doesn't exactly matter so much as your method. My suggestion to train it would be to do Crimson Swifts until you get to level 19. At that point, switch off to Tropical Wagtails. From there, it kinda comes down to personal opinion, but from level 19 on for a while, Tropical Wagtails would be your best option. If you really have the patience, you could turn around and use the Stripy Feathers from the Wagtails for fishing (Rainbow Fish - Fly Fishing). Either that, or any feathers obtain from any of the 5 birds can be used for Fletching as normal.

Shades of Mort'ton Temple Building W2 -> W131
I'm sure we can look into this. That guide was relatively old (despite it saying it was updated late March), and I'm sure no one has even thought about updating the "best world" we list. I'm sure that if you can get this to work out and it gets popular enough, the rest of the crew might notice and we might change the world list. I can't give you guarantees however. As for getting a thread stickied on the Official Forums, you're not going to get it. Only Administrators can sticky topics and they rarely sticky topics like that. The only time they sticky topics is if a certain topic gets *really* popular (as in it's had to be remade several times) and continues to generate new and original posts.

Defeating Barrelchest
I managed to take him out with a combination of Magic and Range. I would use Entangle on him (15-second bind), run to the other side of the room, heal up what damage he hit and started shooting with a Crystal Bow (fresh one). After the Entangle wore off, I let him get a few shots on me, bind him, and dove to the other side of the room.

Rouge's Fort - Lvl 3 clue
If you run around the North and East sides of the fort, then you won't get bothered by the Chaos Elemental. Just make sure you go back the same way, especially after receiving your clue. And remember: When doing wilderness clues, NEVER open your chest until you are out of the wilderness.

easier skill levels with banks
This forum is for updates to the Tip.It forums, not for Runescape suggestions. If you feel that you have a good suggestion for In-Game content, then it should be posted in the Runescape Bugs & Suggestions Forum.
