Why do you think Jagex made 99s Require so Much EXP?
I thought effigies were supposed to be hard to obtain though? I guess once total combat which is one of the easier skills in itself (though im not saying any skill is 100% easy..just one of the easier ones.) then no not really. I never trained for effigies but I do get about 1 effigy every 70-85k slayer xp. Thats a huge amount of free skill xp on the side. Many effigies while getting 99 combats or through slayer to same goal. I dont really know how fast you get effigies from things like crawlers or whatever. I wouldnt train that way personally as im a pure slayer for combat. Plus effigies also include assisting. 30k a day on a hard skill is alot. (Such as rc I mean.) 30k may seem small but thats 7x30 = 210k a week. 1050k every 5 weeks. ...Without training the skill lol. Minus about 120k tho.

Why do you think Jagex made 99s Require so Much EXP?
Think its more down to the speed of the xp you train itself making the 13m requirement sortof irrelevant. Thinking in those terms it makes more sense to see certain skills as being fast. While leaving some to be harder. That and you dont need to train all the skills to 99. I think the balance is pretty good. Infact..Since effigies its too easy now..It nerfs most of the harder skills considerably. Leaving only easy vs. easy.

200M in all Skills
Its nowhere near 400. My rate out of 30k is every 555 kills. Which is basically same as 525. So a range of 500-600 is good. 1 every 2.5 to 3 hours in the long run. You certainly dont see them drop like that though..just averages out eventually if you kill enough. Average crashing person should get one about every 5 hours. Frosties arnt that good for effigies.

09-Feb-2011 Prisoner of Glouphrie and Gnome Graphical Rework
You're a goddamn badass if you can get angry without swearing. Goodluck being 'intimate' with a woman or a man too. Goodluck with alot of things...including that 1 dimensional thinking. edit: ah... I think because you take things literally I need to explain goodluck also refers to 'have fun' etc. There is more than one meaning. ^.^ Ofcourse not everyone is english though.

09-Feb-2011 Prisoner of Glouphrie and Gnome Graphical Rework
Well profanity filter is great! Asin its turned off obviously. However they wernt really clear on how this effected existing rules besides same as usual. They state they still apply but all that really means is that we are all now allowed to see people braking rules and the actual words? Compared to a system before were it was filtered. I would like the rules to be addressed so those above 16+ are treated like adults who can talk maturely like adults however are not allowed to be disrespectful at the same time. Easy example is.. *someone dies* >they curse< Or "Hi mate, >F< alwful weather today! work was >s< =(" Compared to... *Some immature person* ">you M* F* NOOB. YOU GO *bleep* your mamma<" (obviously I have had to censor due to forums >.>) I mean.. I think the last example SHOULD be against the rules but the first two shouldnt be. Atm all that has changed is that we can see both people braking rules with the unfiltered words. Anyway the update is still nice for general purpose where it doesnt filter loads of things that shouldnt be filtered. I suppose thats the main point of it.

If there was one new feature you could add to Runescape, what would it be?
Funnily enough i was thinking of the same feature the OP said. I would like them to basically make system that loads data as you walk into it, rather than zones. They fixed the path finding walk backwards walk forwards feature. Its been quite a long time now it be nice if they fixed the loading zones too.

anyone else sick of free trade whiners?
Yes I agree with the OP. After reading the OP's post I was annoyed I had wasting my time reading the post. Its is ridiculous the amount of ignorance involved with it. Comparing botters and scammers is like apples and oranges.. Plus is it me or do alot of people seem to of played 10+ years o_0

Possible 30k bots on at one time
Tbh half the people probably havnt looked up close to the graph properly to understand it. Its a little zoomed out by the clock but you can clearly see how huge a loss of players there is over both a short and longer period of time. The short time between is quite astonishing to see on a graph like that. Maybe jagex super duper new improved bot catcher is late for work today.

New Option: Buy Banned Accounts
Just sweep the fact away that it isnt necessary to pay for a second chance. Jagex could just implement more appeals that appear over a certain time span. Paying isnt necessary. Hell even the deleted membership would pay for the system so its not like that even factors into it.

New Option: Buy Banned Accounts
When do they begin selling mod status. :!: :!: (Not that I would pay for it.) It was one thing to allow bots and rwt to win so they could cash in on membership now they can deal with the legal issues. Then choosing to allow bots to continue paying membership and instead opting to wipe stats was very sneaky of them.. ..But this is just rwt by jagex. Would else would you call it? I know membership is technically rwt but thats different.. This is the negative type of rwt. Not far from selling gp tbh. Plus there are rules for a reason. If they feel like they deserve unbanning..! Then give them more appeal options that appear at a later date..! I fully support having more appeal options if they want to unban account for whatever reason. Paying isnt necessary..

Oh the perils of botting
Pretty much only the more silly people use free bots compared to paid for ones. Just asking for trouble.. This be more marvellous if it was a paid for one that ruined its rep but nice all the same.

Now What? Bless his grave or get a free 30+m? <FREE TRADE UPDATE>
I do basically the same thing I ever did except now I can bless too. Unless the guy is an idiot for whatever reason. I would also give the items back if at all possible and go out of my way to do so within reason. Such as maybe adding the guys name to my friend list incase he logged back in later if it was a disconnect. I generally pick up what I see as being the most important and maybe even interrupt whatever im doing if it makes it troublesome for me inventory wise. If that guy never signs on or whatever then I generally just sell it and maybe spread the wealth around abit. In unlikely event I somehow saved a phat its the same deal. My account has been solid since its creation and I dont want free donations ever, I would just spread the wealth keeping a certain fraction for myself for the effort. I would probably keep the items for a few days to be sure I cant contact them. I only ever spread wealth with worthy people that never beg obviously. People who already got enough to be happy are generally best when it comes to a game. If I have already spread the wealth around and then he somehow reappears the next best thing I can do is give back my share and ask the others if its possible to get theirs back too. But remember this..Dont come running back shouting insults at me for stealing stuff as you can then sod off. Besides bosses and such its reasonably rare you ever see someone die and most of the time its due to connection issues.. Taking that opportunity to get virtual gp is putting value on the actual grief of another human being. Think you need to take a step back and evaluate yourself if you think the virtual gp is worth more tbh. (Ofcourse IF the guy is being a douche then consider it karma.)

Bots already?
I presume jagex can deal with the credit card problem now compared to before. That doesnt mean they need to deal with the bots/sweatshop ingame. Unfortunately their uber powerful new secret weapon doubtfully exists for bots. It may be improved..but its highly doubtful that it can deal with the rise of rwt. As for sweatshop workers they cant really even deal with those ingame. Being able to allow rwters to do it now compared to before is great for jagex and rwts alike. Sucks for us. (edit: unless you want to rwt and bot that is....) Be amusing if they do some update that lists a few thousand banned accounts and everyone jumps on that bandwagon quoting it as truth that jagex can deal with the problem. Their just alot better at pr nowadays. In the past I do believe they held stopping bots as a higher priority than profit but its obvious that their priority is now profit compared to stopping bots. Wiping stats is another example of this and 1 or two articles stating how its great for stopping bots makes everyone believe them despite logic lol. Bot owners are loving it. People who want lowered stats can even bot to achieve otherwise impossible goals. If logic isnt good enough then evidence should be. Check sites or talk to bot owners... Free trade is great and preferable but all jagex have done is allow rwt while being able to now deal with the past credit card problems and whatever legal issues they were having. Rwting and botting accounts will rise as its alot easier to do with free trade compared to before with restrictions in place. Any idiot can run 10 bots and trade to their main account compared to someone in the past who had to get around restrictions.

Engine Team Q&As
I will go get 200m smithing xp in anticipation of the smithing update! Very good interesting read. They answered questions with answers. Thats always appreciated! Best bit is certainly finding out they hadnt forgotten smithing update. Be interesting how badly it messes up prices for first few weeks on certain items. (Dont reckon it be positive lol.) Then the update itself of course. Suppose still be ages though.

Havnt really trained that much until recently. One of the many reasons I loathe this minigame. For the record jagex I am a fully qualified level 126 smither. Im quite sure I know how to smith that door down to raw materials and back into a fully functioning door. Even the level 105 doors are far from complicated. I could fix up these old doors quicker than you can mess up a simple poll.

Petition and Fraud? Mistake and Lies? Other? (results on page 4)
Incompetent to create a bogus poll that makes no sense.. to create a second poll that doesnt offer enough options. Also, they are lying about being able to handle bots if they allow this update. Adding incentive != Less botting. It encourages it. The same way a poll that allows everyone to vote was actually a mistake. I prefer not to have a community turn towards a diablo 2 style community. Which is fine for that game..but not for runescape. Not for me anyway. I am all for going back in time and not removing free trade to begin with. Then was the time to not do it. However putting it back now, displaying such incompetence with the poll and gossiping in clanchats is amazingly unprofessional. Even for Jagex.. Perhaps if they where more professional and actually had responsible new actions to take against bots it would be fine. As it is..Its just weird and unprofessional. Not good to show so many obvious lies..cover-ups..Isnt good. Im not stupid and its insulting for someone who can see between whats happening. I would be excited for free trade if it wasnt for that. Its like they had this amazing update to offer but slipped on pile of goo and it landed flat in their face...Then they told us they did it on purpose and wanted to see peoples thoughts and responses. Told us how they created a super machine that can K.O bots that for some reason or other they havnt released yet....Then made another attempt at a poll with a lack of options. All the while they seem to be obviously biased and will release wild anyway lol. That part of its obvious PR, which is fine lol but its obvious. 'Who wants an amazing update' Vote YES! ..or.. YES! (No option for no lol >.<) If only they didnt use goofy to announce the news.

Wilderness and free trade vote! - Now Closed
^Na... THats currently todays population of bots in certain locations. Been a massive increase in last 6 months especially. (edit, replying original poster =p) After freetrade it more like this.

Yeah, Jagex thinks so I would consider even the quests more important than the achievements. Obviously skills > Both. Kinda weird decision.

How the Grand Exchange Fulfills Offers
I dont really know but I always figured it was both priority and random. Likes this: Buying 1000 rune bars. If im 'first' I get the 'first' bar, after that it randomly moves onto the next person with the same price. It either cycles through people selected randomly checking them off a list so they cannot buy again until everyone else has, selling one at a time, and keeps a priority based on this selection. Or it cycles through people selected randomly, selling one at a time, and then repeats a random cycle selection. To explain differently. Once everyone has bought a rune bar it either uses priority beginning with the person who bought the first bar or it randomly selects someone checking them off a list. Everyone gets a chance because they cannot buy again until everyone has bought. Once everyone has bought a bar it begins again. (Either priority or random.) But im just guessing, I dont know. Thats just how it feels to me. I know for certain that it isnt purely priority based or no one would be able to buy anything... However it does seem priority based on items that sell less.. For example a party hat. Get your offer in first and you get the first sold. I dont know if its really possible to know if it randomly selects a list and prioritises based on that list or just creates a new random cycle checklist that makes it so everyone gets a chance before its possible for people to buy again. You could say its like a non-priority system (Dont really know correct term for this.. losing priority system?) where you lose priority once you gain the item. Everyone else has a step above you be it random or whatever it is. Each losing priority once they gain the item until everyone has gained the item. Then it repeats with one person at a time stepping down.
